The taco shell was perfect crisp, the toppings were a great balance and the seasoning of the steak 🔥🔥🔥. Found my new favorite taco truck. Highly recommend. For 4 (healthy sized tacos) and a drink it was only $11.00..“

“Definitely a 5 star. Probably a 9.2 out of 10. I started with 2 Adobada, 2 Carnitas and 2 Chorizo, finished those and had to go and order 2 more, Cabeza and Adobada. They're all so good. Tortillas are good and all the meat was fantastic. Red and green salsa was fine, not amazing but very standard and complimentary to the delicious tacos. One table with an umbrella or front, parking at the shop or behind the truck. Fast and well priced ($2.50 a piece). The only downside is it's right off Garrity which makes the street noise a bit much to really Talk and conduct business. But for a quick to-go meal, this is fantastic.“

“I love this place, it’s the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I’m pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food because I grew up eating authentic Mexican food, and the food at this place is just wonderful. Everything is amazing, from the rice and beans to the chips and salsa to the meat itself. The food is flavorful, well-seasoned, and authentic. They honestly have some of the best sauces and salsa I’ve ever tasted. I’d eat here every day if I could.

The portions are great too. My meal of two enchiladas with rice and beans was $18, and I still had plenty left over for the next day. I also love the decor, it has so much personality and makes the restaurant feel unique.

The only downside is that the service seems to depend on the day. Our last visit was fantastic, with a very attentive and friendly server. This time, we only saw our server a few times: once for menus and drinks, once to bring our drinks and take our order, and then once more to see if we needed anything. But then we did not see her again until we were ready to leave. Which I don’t mind, the only thing that sucked really was that a very long wait to get our check and the server didn’t seem very happy to be helping us. We waited about 10–15 minutes for boxes and our check while several servers walked by. We didn’t want to interrupt since they were busy, but our server never came back to check on us. We finally had to flag her down when she seated a table nearby. She seemed nice, just not super attentive, and we felt a little awkward having to wave her down for our check.

But other than that, I just love this restaurant. Genuinely the best Mexican food I’ve ever had.“

“Taco Truck in Star! I had the street tacos, my favorite go to. I tried asada, chorizo, avo? not sure the name but it's a seasoned similar to Al pastor and carnitas - so my favorite was chorizo. Usually it's asada but it was alright.
Very busy place. Tight parking spots.
Oh BRING CASH! They charge a hefty fee for credit card.

“Very nice little spot, doesn't look like much from the outside but the staff were very friendly and provided great service. The food itself was delicious and they had these amazing Jalapenos available. Prices were well set and you could tell most everything had to have been homemade. We had a great time here for the night wanting Mexican food on our way to Twin Falls.“

“We happened to go by there the other day and we're totally impressed with the quality of the food in the service. I feel like the food was a cut above the other restaurants that serve similar fare. Portions were generous. The best part about it for me was that they use paper bowls instead of aluminum foil. I hate eating out of aluminum foil because the food tastes metallic. “This is as authentic Mexican food as you will find in Idaho. It's also REALLY GOOD! The prices are fair and you can get almost any Mexican dish you want. The people are really friendly and the service is fast. It's a great place to sit and eat while all the awesome smells from the kitchen surround you. It's not the place for a fancy dinner date, but it is a great spot for a great meal. It's in the back of the store, so you can also do your shopping as you leave.
