“WOW. Not only impressed with the great service, entertainment, atmosphere, pricing..., but the FOOD! Exceeded our expectations!! The BLT, Baja burger, fry sauce... seriously, outstanding! We will be back and bringing friends/family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome!Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room.”
“Great afterwork early afternoon spent there. Scott was kick back as the few other patrons were as well. Got to hear some country singing, drank good red beer, a good time was had by all.”
“This place is a hidden gem and one of the best fast food Mexican restaurants in the Treasure Valley. We had a mix of burritos, nachos, fajitas and everything tasted excellent and very authentic. It also was super clean and the staff was very friendly. Will now become part of the weekly rotation. P.S. the red sauce is delish but very hot!”
“Great food and service. We had 4 dishes and 2 appetizers. Best Chinese food I've had in years. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that hasn't compromised quality in these hard times. It's Tsai's kitchen. Yum!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they have it”
“Our friends live here in Middleton, every time we come visit we have to stop here. I love good coffee and I really like supporting local small businesses. They have a wide variety of coffee, I am pretty plain when it comes to hot coffee and I enjoyed my plain hot coffee very much. We also had blueberry scones and they were delicious. My husband had the banana bread, he enjoyed that as well . We will continue coming here to enjoy good coffee.”
“My family loves their take out pizza. I haven't tried all of the different options, but some of our favorites are marketplace, gourmet garlic chicken, mediterranean, pepperoni, gourmet garden, and aloha. Staff is extremely friendly, I order ahead, so I never have to wait, and the prices are reasonable for the times.”
“The chicken was delicious but the refried beans and green salsa were not good anymore I had to throw them away they taste as if they were expired but other than that the food is always ”
“Pleasantly surprised! Stopped in here today while running some errands in the area and stopped in here for a quick bite. Inside classic diner vibe and very well kept and clean. It's a walk up type of joint with all the selections on the wall. The lady at the front counter was super nice and informative. After a few seconds we ordered our food. After a short wait our food came out pipping hot and everything you can tell was freshly made. The onion rings were homemade and nice and crispy. I ordered the southern comfort which was a burger topped off with pulled pork, cheese and coleslaw. 1 word Delicious! Well executed and very satisfying. The fries while not homemade were still nice and crispy. My wife and daughter really enjoyed their burger and spicy chicken sandwich. This was a great find and if and when we are back in the area we will for sure be back.”
“Amazing pizza. Kind of small. I'll bet it's packed at lunch and donnertime. The cooks and wait staff were so energetic I'll just bet they can handle it! Good ”
“I've only grabbed takeout so I can't speak for service or atmosphere. I've had a hard time finding local Mexican food with flavor. What a concept... these guys get it. The food is tasty, flavorful, doesn't feel like a greasy spoon ?Kid-friendliness: Affordable kids meals.”
“Breakfast was great lots of options for sides with an omelette. Nice to see something besides rye, wheat, white or sourdough. Red Velvet pancakes did not disappoint! Will be returning for certain.”
“Went to this Jack in the box while I was in Caldwell Idaho visiting my parents for Christmas. It was one of very few places open that night and the service was so fast it seemed like we had ordered our food and then went to pick it up. The prices were great and once we got the food it was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the few extra pounds I probably gained from all the food I ordered and ate. The staff was very friendly and thorough. They repeated my order to me and explained any questions I had .”

“I’ve been to many many coffee shops all over the NW and honestly these guys make the best mocha I’ve ever had. No joke it is SILKY SMOOTH. Their other drinks are great too but they’ve got their process dialed for this mocha. Hot and iced. Go try it.”
“If you want authentic and the best quality food look no further. I found this Taco truck this year and I’ve been back about 30 times. It’s the best food in the Treasure Valley hands down and I wish them so much success.”
“I love pupusas, so I finally tried this place. I got 4 pupusas revueltas & they were delicioussss! As you can see, one didn't make it home cuz i ate it in the car lol I just wish they had more cheese/fillings in them.Parking: Small parking lot”
“The Best Fish Tacos on Mother Earth! And one of the best overall dining experiences you can have. If you are a foodie, come here now. This place is our favorite restaurant in the Treasure Valley and overall dining experience can’t be beat. It’s the first place we bring family who visit from out of town. Everything is handmade and even brought from Mexico when in season. We haven’t tried the whole menu, but close, and some of our favorites include the Fish Tacos, Carnitas Plate, Mole Verde (cauliflower), Esquites (corn) and from the bar El Amano and La Rebanadita. “This place was great! It wasn't the easiest to get into. There was a secret elevator. But so worth the hunt to find it. There was some looks when 2 hot chicks walked in in full motorcycle leathers but so worth it!”
“In all this is a great place with a fabulous ambiance and I'll return for another try later but..... Last week was Sunday Fun Day with the girls. I was a bit disappointed in the slowness of the Pancake Bar but it was a valiant effort. Service was not great because the place was packed.”
“Holy cow is this place da bomb. I love airfield diners from my years piloting light planes. They are generally good. This place stands out. We split the chicken fried steak breakfast this time. Hand made and heavenly. Hash browns are crisp, sourdough toast is fresh. A delightful experience every time. I almost hate to recommend it because it's bound to get even more packed than it already is. If you have any extra time, hit the Warhawk museum next door. Huge, fascinating collection of first person service biographies, etc”
“We brought our kids here for lunch and holy moly it was incredible. I got the Optimus prime-wich, which was a very filling sandwich, and it was genuinely the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I wish i took a picture of it to share before I ate it because it looked amazing, but I got too excited and just dived in. Seriously you’ve gotta try this place, amazing amazing experience. Even my picky toddlers loved it, so we definitely will be back.”
“Best Mexican food EVER!! Most authentic in town. Mendudo is the best anywhere. Everyone is very nice and very friendly. The portions are huge. Love love love this place!!! I'm so sad they closed.”
“Had a great experience! Gracelyn and Kaitlyn were so friendly and attentive, I couldn’t have asked for a better lunch experience for me and the gals. One suggestion I have is to add mimosas to the menu!”
“This place is always clean they have the most pool table your will see but the nice thing it the also have dart, Axe throwing shuffleboard, and sometimes even cornhole somthing for every one and I have not came buy any staff in anything but a positive attitude you feel more like family here love this bar!”
“If you are old enough to remember Cheers, and by the number of amazing people I have met here…you are, this is what it it feels like. I have been to the Crescent 5 times now and I get hugs from the owner, and the bartenders care enough to remember my name. The beer is amazin, and the music is almost as good. By far the best bar and the best feelings in the state. If you can make it down to Nampa, please check them out, you will never be disappointed.”
“Ok, consider me IMPRESSED. Upon arrival I was like “ummmmm where are we!?” But this is such a cool concept. I prefer not sitting down in a restaurant currently as I have an unpredictable 2 y/o that sometimes has no chill. Take out is best for us. I was stoked when I saw an ad in the Middleton paper saying there was sushi available in Star. We ordered 5 different rolls on the square ordering site. Our order was brought out just a few mins after we arrived. The presentation was excellent, the rolls all tasted like they had top tier fresh ingredients and the variety was great. I consider myself a bit of a sushi snob as I have lived in some of the best culinary cities in America. 10/10 recommend. I almost didn’t want to review and tell everyone how great it is for selfish reason like having to wait long next time hahah. I hope this place sticks around, it’s a great addition to the food selection between Star and Middleton.Dietary restrictions: You can easily eat here if you are vegetarian, dairy free, or gluten free.”
“Great service, friendly staff, well lite, clean, smells amazing, food is fresh hot and outstanding. A little slow on getting orders out but plated well and clean and looks good on the plate. Reasonable price a little tough to get a parking spot. Very happy we will eat here again and recommend it to ppl.”
“Had a great meal after a very poor experience at a restaurant next door. Walked in with a party of 7 for food and drinks and had the best service ever from Valerie! Not only was she awesome she was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks and will return because of the service she provided. Food was amazing as well as our drinks. Thank you 2C Grit for the great food and amazing service!”
“The food was delicious. The menu was a little difficult to figure out, but we were able to order some really good dishes. I'd go there again the next time I'm visiting Nampa.”
“Great home town bakery/cafe. Fresh and clean, the air always smells like fresh bread of cinnamon rolls. I have never had anything I didn't like there. In fact, I love the tomato soup there and only there. The owners, are great and always attentive to their customers, as well as the staff. Great home town bakery.”
