“My family and I went to eat here on a Sunday evening for an early dinner. I highly recommend calling ahead to see if there is a wait. This seems to be a popular place. We went around 4-5pm. As the evening goes on, it becomes busier, and it was nice to enjoy the quieter setting before things pick up. Their wait staff are attentive and kind. They work hard and make sure you are taken care of without over bugging you! The style of the restaurant is unique and clever, including artwork with cows, aliens, and a mix of farmhouse. The misfit and retro style seems to work for them. When the weather permits, they have a roll-up door in the front half of the restaurant that gives you a nice breeze of fresh air. I love their atmosphere. I had their Pineapple Express burger and fries. I 10/10 recommended this burger (personally I take off the mustard aioli or have it on the side)! This burger has so much flavor between the burger, ham, pineapple, and I like it with the pickles. Perfect hidden gem for Nampa!”

“Great spot for first dates, a game of pool with friends, or to watch a football game. The staff is very friendly and nice and the drinks are reasonably priced. They don't have a kitchen, but you can get a frozen pizza they heat in an air fryer or chicken tenders and such. Overall good spot, I frequent regularly.”

“I haven't been in Nampa in years. I was in the area for a doctor's appointment. I left Boise really early so it gave me a chance to find a bite to eat somewhere new. Little Saigon has been on my to go list for a while so today was a good day to try it out.

The restaurant is located old Downtown Nampa. Such a cool vibe down here. I lived in Nampa a long time ago and never knew about this area. It was pretty cool to check out. It is different that this restaurant is surrounded by antique stores. I thought I was in the wrong building cause I all I saw were the small shops. But what a great way to work off your meal, go walk around the antique stores and check out their goods.

The venue is small and intimate. There were a few guests eating and enjoying their food. I got sat at a bar table by the window. I wanted to try their pho here. It's almost mandatory to try pho at a Vietnamese joint. But I didn't want to be stuffed with rice noodles so I went with the tofu and mixed veggies. I was kinda surprised they didn't have a lunch menu but a dinner portion of tofu and veggies shouldn't be too filling.

My tofu and veggies looked great! My veggies looked fresh. I got a few good sized chunks of tofu. I drizzled some Sriracha sauce and dug in. It was made super fresh! The brocolli was so hot when I took a bite of it. Stir fried cabbage will always be my favorite. The sauce was not too salty and had great flavor. My tofu was disappointing despite of how good everything else was. It was dry, hard and store bought. I have had similar tofu like this that I have purchased from the Asian market. As the main star of the dish, it was such a miss. Having fresh fried tofu would have made this dish amazing but overall it was still good.

Service was decent. My food was dropped off and wasn't really checked up on till I was waiting for me bill. The veggies were fresh and you get a nice variety of them but the tofu could have been better. The venue is in a pretty cool location. There's a store that I really wanted to check out after lunch but they are only open Friday and Saturday. It's cool I got to check this joint out. Next time I'll have to check out the pho. But it was dope that I got to come in and support a local business today.”

“I love the owners story, and his passion shows in the quality of his food. The dishes are delicious. I’ve never had fried rice that’s actually crisp on the outside. Tons of flavor. I love how all the vegetables are cut in beautiful ways- the presentation adds to the experience.
The restaurant is small and looks like a fast food or take out place, so the atmosphere is not amazing, but it’s OK and the food makes up for it. The portions are large and the prices are lower than I would expect. They do table service, and the servers are very efficient and kind.
I really like this place and it’s easy to get in but the food can take a few minutes because they clearly cook everything fresh.”

“Definitely a 5 star. Probably a 9.2 out of 10. I started with 2 Adobada, 2 Carnitas and 2 Chorizo, finished those and had to go and order 2 more, Cabeza and Adobada. They're all so good. Tortillas are good and all the meat was fantastic. Red and green salsa was fine, not amazing but very standard and complimentary to the delicious tacos. One table with an umbrella or front, parking at the shop or behind the truck. Fast and well priced ($2.50 a piece). The only downside is it's right off Garrity which makes the street noise a bit much to really Talk and conduct business. But for a quick to-go meal, this is fantastic.”

“We hadn't been to Honkers in quite some time, after moving further away from Nampa. Honkers used to be my husband's go to diner, he has taken many friends there over the years. We were in town and decided to drop in. Since our last visit the hours have changed, they close early on weekdays (2pm) But we made it just in time. The service is wonderful and the food is just how we remember it, home style and yummy! We've celebrated a couple Birthdays here over the years too, the service is top tier, they made my little girl birthday pancakes one year, and on this visit they loaded up a bag full of pancakes, on the house at the end of our meal. Exceptional customer service! We scoured downtown for needy folks to hand them out to but unlike years past we couldn't find a single.soul. That's a good thing though, hopefully everyone had a safe place to be. Honkers also has a punch card now, so go, run, give some love to this gem in the heart of Nampa!”

We ended up with 4 large trays of street tacos in different meat variations and they put all of the condiments like onions, cilantro, lemons, radishes & salsa on the side for our more picky eaters. They also included roasted chili peppers. All of the food was delicious and all the tacos were eaten at the party, without any leftovers or waste! “I love this place. I think I am a bit of a coffee snob and like my coffee or my americano black. Their coffee is great. Every once in a while there is a bean I’m not as much into but for the most part I’m typically very happy with the coffee. The pastries are amazing - best in town and really in the whole area. They have lots of study space, and a lot of room for people to have meetings. I also love walking around their gift shop- so fun to find unique gifts. I currently love their peanut butter nitro, but in the winter love their house made chai with a couple shots of espresso. My go to pastries are the multi grain scone and the breakfast sandwich. I also like the cinnamon roll, chocolate chip scone, the chocolate chip cookies, the potato haystack… I could go on. I wish we could choose 1/2 caff on the mobile order website. Every once in a while they might forget the pastry ordered or the dog treats, but they are always great about grabbing it quickly if you notice they’ve missed it. They have outdoor seating area that is pet friendly. Games and crayons available for kids.”

“I've only gone here for lunch, and usually early. So I probably see the buffet system at its best, full inserts and hot food. But I also start out over at the Mongolian section and love picking out meats and vegetables and noodles and seeing it cooked on a flat top griddle and presented to me hot. I've leaned to add lots more quantities of the various sauces as they cook down and get diluted as the chefs make sure the mean is fully cooked and the vegetables browned or crisped up. So the flavors really improve. Love it and the sushi station and visiting the myriad of chicken dishes and fried items. I'm sure its a challenge to continue to refresh, but going early in the meal period works out very well. recommend it.”

“Recently moved into the Nampa area from meridian. The Getaway has rapidly become one of my go-to places for food and drink. At a great price! haven't had anything bad off the menu yet. personal favorite is the Idaho dip! Along with the Tater kegs or pretzels for an appetizer are a must. The place has a good atmosphere around it. with a couple of pool tables and outside seating area. will continue to be a weekend spot for myself!”

We enjoyed bread sticks, pepperoni pizza, salad, and also the Sawtooth pizza. My brother's have recommended this place to me before, but I'm always reluctant to try new places in fear of disappointment. This place did NOT disappoint. The service from beginning to finish was EXCELLENT! I loved the crust flavor, the fresh toppings, all cooked to perfection. Not dough-y at all. Overall the pizza was delicious and the staff were very friendly and quick service. I will be going back next time we're down here. Highly recommend.”

Fantastic coffee roast, reflects in the flavor of the drink, perfect amount of sweetness for me, tried a cinnamon roll- also great! No extra charge for alternative milks and 2-4 shots per drink based on size are all great marks for me. Excited to make more stops!”

“I placed a catering order with Chick-fil-A Nampa last week and could not be more impressed with how it all went. Within minutes of placing my order someone called to verify allergies and reassure me that the food would be handled so there was no cross contamination. When I arrived to pick up my catering order it was hot and fresh and packed perfectly per our many requests. The staff truly went the extra mile and did a fantastic job. There was even a hand written thank you note inside the bag. I will definitely be using their catering services again.”
