“We went to celebrate my grandmas 96th birthday and the only seating was at the bar. We almost left but decided to eat at the bar. Jayden was our server and she was AMAZING!! I mean AMAZING!! The food was outstanding, drinks were top notch. Thank you Jayden for the amazing experience and service. We were very happy.“

“My family and I went to eat here on a Sunday evening for an early dinner. I highly recommend calling ahead to see if there is a wait. This seems to be a popular place. We went around 4-5pm. As the evening goes on, it becomes busier, and it was nice to enjoy the quieter setting before things pick up. Their wait staff are attentive and kind. They work hard and make sure you are taken care of without over bugging you! The style of the restaurant is unique and clever, including artwork with cows, aliens, and a mix of farmhouse. The misfit and retro style seems to work for them. When the weather permits, they have a roll-up door in the front half of the restaurant that gives you a nice breeze of fresh air. I love their atmosphere. I had their Pineapple Express burger and fries. I 10/10 recommended this burger (personally I take off the mustard aioli or have it on the side)! This burger has so much flavor between the burger, ham, pineapple, and I like it with the pickles. Perfect hidden gem for Nampa!“

“Pretty standard as far a Golden corral goes. Not really top of the line, but not the bottom either. They had a great selection of different things to choose from, and food seemed to be rotated out before sitting too long. I had to pass on the dessert because a hoarde of kids went through and just destroyed everything, but thats not really the restaurants fault.“

“Recently moved into the Nampa area from meridian. The Getaway has rapidly become one of my go-to places for food and drink. At a great price! haven't had anything bad off the menu yet. personal favorite is the Idaho dip! Along with the Tater kegs or pretzels for an appetizer are a must. We had two ladies who took care of us and they did such an amazing job making sure with our all you can eat meal was always full as well as drinks. they were very fast and efficient. we sadly didnt get their names but we hope next time we go back to have such a pleasant dinning experience!!“

“We just ate here and were happy with our meal. Lizzie, our server, was possibly the best server we’ve had in recent memory! She was completely on top of everything from taking our order to refilling our drinks, making sure we had fries, and anything else we needed without being “too much”.
