“Recently moved into the Nampa area from meridian. The Getaway has rapidly become one of my go-to places for food and drink. At a great price! haven't had anything bad off the menu yet. personal favorite is the Idaho dip! Along with the Tater kegs or pretzels for an appetizer are a must. The place has a good atmosphere around it. with a couple of pool tables and outside seating area. will continue to be a weekend spot for myself!“

“Okay, this is not my wife's favorite place, at all. However, they serve some of the finest restaurant pot roast you'll ever have. Their selections are very good, with desserts being a delightful surprise. I would skip the burgers and deviled eggs and focused on surf and turf to make this a great experience. Nice people who work there are a bonus, but it's still a serve yourself setting.“
