35 Best American Restaurants in Meridian

“Service and food were fantastic. Jessica and Kyle were amazing. The checked often to see if we needed anything and if everything was as we wanted it. The chef is amazing. The salmon and cod were perfectly cooked.“

“We enjoyed the small restaurant atmosphere where one can get to know the chefs (Mike, included). Food was excellent…have the Tempura green beans and then the Brutus Salad is excellent with chicken or salmon. The Atlantic salmon was grilled to perfection (medium with delicately medium seasoned saffron rice). Try the saffron infused Creme Brulet for dessert and enjoy live Jazz and after-dinner drinks at the Sidecar. However, make reservations if you want a table for dinner and after-dinner entertainment…take out available.“

“Fantastic food! Our first time going there and everyone in my ground loved what they ordered. They have a pb and j burger which is my absolute favorite! Also there is a table for kids with some toys which was perfect for us.“

“absolutely delicious 🤤 one of my favorite restaurants now.“

“We eat there frequently and the salad bar is excellent We have also enjoyed other meals including Cod. Today however, the Cod had absolutely no flavor. I tried to convince my mind that I was eating Cod, but there was no hint of flavor at all. My wife had the exact same opinion. I should have said something to the waitress. When we checked out I kindly mentioned that I generally don't complain about a meal, but that there is something wrong with there Cod. I wish I knew then what I know now. I asked Google what could cause Cod to be absolutely tasteless and it said that over cooking would drive all the flavor out. I'm sure now that was the case because both of our dishes were prepared with Cod that had a brown dried crusty coating on them. We were deeply dissapointed. It was the first lousy meal we have ever had there.“

“Great food for my first visit. loved the pumpkin spice donuts and market Hash breakfast.“

“You messed up my order, but you get 5 stars because you went above and beyond fixing it. The Manager was very kind and helpful. I recommend you guys use more Tartar sauce on the cod; it is always hit-or-miss on the dry bread. It is too good a piece of fish not to have tartar! Thanks, Andy!“

“I love Their FISH TACOS! The best!“

“I really love this place! The water glasses that they kept on that table were super fancy, and it made it so I didn't have to wait for a drink. My friend and I both had a great time with our waiter Rachel! She was really nice, and came to talk to us like we had known each other for a long time, even though this was our first time there! This is an amazing restaurant, and I'm thankful to be going here.“

“This place is the best in Meridian! The staff knows what customer service is, especially Alec and Emma! The food and choices are great! I’m not much of a drinker so go the there strictly for the food! and the service and vibe! Have and will recommend to everyone I know!!“

“Been four times in the past two months since discovering the place. Food is fantastic.... service is hit or miss. Just left after waiting five/six minutes without acknowledgement by any staff after being seated, watched others getting served almost immediately after being seated. Please work on this.“

“I just had to write a review to acknowledge the great lunch we recently had the pleasure of having at Marie Callender's in Meridian. My friend and I were on our way home (to Council) from Salt Lake City and were looking for somewhere to have a good lunch, well this was definitely the place to go! It was the best meal we had in the last 2 days and it didn't cost us an "arm and a leg". and we each had a slice of pie!!! When in this area next time this is where to go!! Great staff as well!!“

“OMG !! So I just had the best customer service from the manager tonight at Applebees, I wish I got his name anyway, he was awesome . I had my food delivered from a different service and my drink was missed and I called just to ask what happened, not a big deal by any means it’s just a drink, right . Well I told him it was all fine and not a big deal just wanted to figure it out. Didn’t know whose fault but The manager at Applebees 100% made it more then right, I appreciate him very much thank for doing what you did i hope you see this because you are doing Awesome ?“

“We had an outstanding experience thanks to our waitress, Ivey, who delivered truly excellent service from start to finish. We were a group of 8 and she handled everything with kindness, patience, and professionalism. Drinks were refilled quickly, orders were accurate, and she checked in often without ever making us feel rushed.
Her friendly attitude made the meal even better — she was attentive, upbeat, and made sure everyone at the table felt taken care of.
We left feeling grateful for her exceptional service. IHOP is lucky to have her, and we will definitely be returning because of the great experience she provided.“

“Jacquie greeted me with a genuine smile and her happy disposition shone brightly and was accented by her occasional soft singing the entire time i was there. Her service and attentiveness were perfect, and my breakfast of hotcakes, poached eggs and sausage was perfectly prepared and served promptly and hot. A simple breakfast experience. Absolutely flawless.“

“Ok 2nd time at Rudy's in Meridian and service both times was amazing, food was hot , fast and good and priced reasonably. “Visiting from Massachusetts and went to Big Al’s to watch the Pats game 12/14/25 Got the Nachos and Dad got the pizza First off great size on the nachos, tons of cheese and great flavors, Dad loved the pizza. Our server Corey was awesome and very attentive, we never had an empty glass at our table as he would bring out the next one before we ran out. He was also very informative about the menu and helped us make our selections. The whole staff was welcoming and even though they were closing early for a private event we never felt rushed at all. If you are ever in the area I would suggest coming to big Al’s especially to watch a sporting event. Next time I come to Idaho I will definitely be back to Big Al’s“

“We had a family dinner tonight celebrating 2 birthdays. It was very busy as usual but wanted to comment on our waitress Aliza. She was very attentive and gave great service even with a lot of large groups. This was especially deserving of recognition as she's is a new server. Thank you for taking care of us!“

“Let me begin with a disclaimer: I have lived a full life. I have kissed mouths that were made of sin and stardust. I’ve tasted truffle risottos in overpriced restaurants where the waiter looked down on me for asking for more bread. But none—none—of those experiences compare to what happened between me and Chili’s Baby Back Ribs. First bite? Instant goosebumps. I closed my eyes and saw my ancestors nodding in approval. The meat is so tender it practically slides off the bone like it’s trying to seduce you. And the sauce—oh God, the sauce—is like a smoky, sweet whisper in your ear saying, “You’re never going back to dry chicken breasts again, baby.” I was knee deep in bbq sauce. Let’s address the elephant in the Chili’s dining room: Yes. The Office. Yes. “🎵 I want my baby-back, baby-back, baby-back…” was sung. Yes. I wept a little imagining Kevin Malone wiping his mouth and going back for more. This isn’t just a meme—it’s prophecy fulfilled. This wasn’t dinner. This was foreplay. This was therapy. This was my Roman Empire. If loving these ribs is wrong, I don’t want to be right. And if this is the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth (and trust me, the competition was stiff), then so be it. My mouth has spoken. And it speaks only the gospel of Chili’s. Amen. Pass the wet wipes.“

“Amazing burgers and so many flavors of yogurt! I love holding paint classes here! ♥️“

“Great experience! Catered wonderfully to our allergy needs! Were very sensitive to our celiac disease and went over and beyond to make it safe for us.. so appreciate the caution they took! First restaurant my son has been able to go to for the last 3 years; made his day! I realize not all red robins may be as cautious but the one in meridian on eagle was terrific!“
