“The crew at the Star Cafe Rio really knocked it out of the park today! They were super friendly and showed great care and pride in making our food. I got a steak burrito and my wife got a pulled pork tostada, both were excellent and huge portions! The staff went out of their way to make sure our visit was fun, fast, and memorable. I have not received this level of service from expensive, fine dining restaurants. If you want a 5 star experience, delicious food, at a fair price, this is the best place in town! (And better than anything we have visited in the surrounding areas too) We also received our meals extremely fast which was important to us today. Thanks for making our day!“

“I lived in Nampa for years and went by this restaurant weekly and never ate there. Met friends in Nampa and went dinner there. This is a smaller venue so there was a 30 minute wait but we'll worth it. Atmosphere is quaint by tasteful. Great Mexican food menu with a few twists of their own. Food was great and large servings. Good margheritas too. Definitely a great find that is worth going out of your way to try. You may want to avoid Friday and Saturday evenings as they are really busy.Parking: Limited parking and DO NOT PARK IN ADJOINING BUSINESS LOTS!!“

“I love this place. Everything all in one spot. Market, restaurant and bakery. We usually stop by on the weekends. It's never been too busy. We always find a seat to eat. We make sure to pick up the necessities as well as Mexican candy and sweet bread. Bake freshly inside. Sometimes we are lucky enough to get it right off of the rack as soon as it's out. “Now I wish I actually got pictures of the food but it was that good the phones weren’t even touched.My husband and myself are Hispanic and have lived here 30+ years and in the past good authentic Mexican food usually is in nampa and Caldwell area, BUT today was our first time at Pueblo Lindo and this is hands down the best Mexican authentic restaurant we have ate at in a VERY VERY long time. I got the steak ranchero. The portion was very generous. The seasoning on the steak was perfect. The steak itself was cooked perfectly and the sauce they use is delicious!My husband got the steak fajitas his steak was also cooked perfectly and the seasoning and sauce was also very flavorful. Once again very generous portions. The service it self there is very welcoming. We were checked on often to make sure everything was good and we had what we needed. We will definitely be regulars here. I highly recommend Pueblo Lindo!!“

I like the bean dip and salsa with chips while we wait for our food. The mixed drinks are amazing. The only downer is the place is always packed for weekend evenings and the wait can be long but its worth it. I love this place!“

“This is "The Place" for mexican food... so good. We moved to this area about 4 years ago from Arizona and have been searching the whole valley for good mexican food and we finally found it! This is our new number one place to go. The food is fabulous! We ate inside the restaurant. The Chili Verde is about the best I've ever had. My husband says the Chile Colorado is the best he's ever had. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu.For us, no need to go anywhere else. We found our spot?? ??“

“Edgar was a kind and personable server. He pointed out menu items of interest and did not steer us wrong. We are seniors and shared the Barria plate with house made corn tortillas. It was delicious and more than plenty for us. The salsa was mild, I might recommend a spicy alternative as well. The Cadillac Margarita was very good as well. We will be back!“

“New to the area and this is almost the only place to get a gyro for some reason. The smokey version was almost too spicy for me, but good overall. I tried a couple house tacos which were decent sized for $3 each, the adobada was my favorite but the carnitas and al pastor were solid. A gyro with tacos on the side is a pretty perfect lunch, will definitely go back.“

“The chips and salsa, food and deep fried ice cream is AMAZING! The customer service at the Meridian location was EXCEPTIONAL!! The owner Speedy is so amazing! He was so friendly to my two year old son and made sure we had everything we needed. Our waiter Andres was so wonderful as well and was so attentive. I’m pregnant and was craving their salsa and he made sure my salsa cup was always full and that we were happy. The prices are so reasonable there; it’s definitely one of my favorite places to eat and I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with this place!“

“We do Salsa Sunday at Mother Earth on Sunday, picking up tacos on the way there. First time trying this taco truck. Great tacos, comes with onions, grilled onions, cilantro and plenty of meat. Pictured are carnitas and chicken. Very good tacos, two would have been enough. The red sauce is good and spicy. Also nice was no line, unlike the other truck at 11th Ave and 4th St N. I can't wait to try some other meals.“

“This was my first visit to KB's to and I tried their Ketchum steak burrito. It was a solid 4 stars. Not the best burrito I've had in the valley, but with the help of some hot sauce, it was definitely good. I liked the fresh ingredients and the steak was nice and tender. It was only lacking a little in the flavor department - the spices could go up a notch or two in my opinion.“

“We highly recommend Belis Tortilleria! We placed a huge order for my daughters Graduation party and they went above and beyond! We ended up with 4 large trays of street tacos in different meat variations and they put all of the condiments like onions, cilantro, lemons, radishes & salsa on the side for our more picky eaters. They also included roasted chili peppers. All of the food was delicious and all the tacos were eaten at the party, without any leftovers or waste! “It seemed trendy inside they also have an outdoor eating space. It was between $2.75 and $3.50 for their taco's and dishes. They have vegetarian options on the menu as well. The Brisket taco's are the best as well as the shrimp. Wasn't to impressed with their namesake taco the Tin Roof but bet you will find at least one you will like. The salsa's are not to hot except maybe thr hottest one I did not try but they had a good flavor to them not just heat. For 4 people it cost us $54.00 with tax and tip but we didn't have any beverages.“

It came to $55 for lunch- $65 with the tip and we drank waters. Too expensive especially when I have so many other options nearby for less money.“

I can get real protein/meat and fill up for less than 10 bucks, rather than spending 15 at Taco Bell and still be hungry. Better than Matador hands down. “My wife and I had an extremely good dinner out at Brick 29 last week. It was a special occasion as we were out with another couple, and we wanted to enjoy a nice dinner. And, a nice dinner is what we experienced! The environment is fun, and something unexpected in Nampa. We weren't paying attention as we arrived at the building, walking and talking with our friend, and naturally ended up in the lounge downstairs by mistake. Whoops. Taking the elevator to the top is unexpected, but once we arrived at the top floor, we were rewarded with a beautiful view. It was just before sunset, and seeing the City of Nampa from a few floors up was very nice. We had arrived before the dinner rush, since we did not have reservations, and we were seated promptly. Judging from the groups of people who arrived after us, I would think that getting reservations ahead of time would be prudent. I think we got lucky this night. The service was great! Our waiter was fun and professional, and made our experience very enjoyable. We didn't get a window seat, but the dining environment was still very nice, contributing to enjoyment of the evening. For dinner, I ordered the Rib Eye, cooked Bistro Style (as opposed to "Traditional"). I only have three words to describe this steak: Dee Lish Us. Oh my gosh, it was cooked perfectly, and was a very flavorful piece of meat. It was served with a blue cheese fondue sauce, and covered with crispy fried onions, served over potatoes. The flavors came together amazingly, and I really enjoyed the steak. My companions all ordered the Lamb Shank, and I did sample a bit or two. Again, very very delicious! For dessert, we got a piece of German Chocolate cake that was plenty big enough for four of us to eat. A nice finish to a wonderful evening. I would highly recommend Brick 29 as one of the best dining experiences in the Treasure Valley.“

“Unbelievable, crazy-delicious FRUIT at this place! WOW! Fresh flavors! Our family includes 2 teen boys and they LOVE Walking Sombero Taco food too! Its not like anything else around and that makes it SUPER sweet! Talk about a phenomenally appentising and healthy treat! You could make a fruit cup at home but it really won't have the same pazzaz. It would also be more difficult and at a higher cost and certainly you could not attain the amazing zingy tastes this place sprinkles on top of your fruit. So good its better than a shake--not kidding! Our family has found a new way to enjoy a fun (and healthy) outing together at Walking Sombero Tacos. I really wish we had known about them earlier!“

“Authentic, affordable, tasty food. The perfect trio! My friend and I came in from Boise. Caldwell is often where you can find the tasty Mexican food. The service was great and the food was delicious. Living a couple of hours away from my parents leads to cravings of actual Mexican food. This hit the spot. The tortillas were homemade and the salsa had a great flavor. I ordered the sopes- a homemade thick tortilla with meat, lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes , top off with some good salsa and you're set. The sopes are small so if you're hungry, I would opt out for a bigger plate. The rice was well done and the beans were fresh. Really good food. Would definitely come again.“

“They have really good food. I definitely recommend it. They're really fast at getting it in the drive-through or walking in. The only thing is when you go in the drive-through. Sometimes they get your order wrong not too much but a few times I go there quite a bit but they have excellent food and they're very kind people. I definitely recommend and I love their hard shell tacos and I always get the Kearny Asada burritos pretty good And the sweet pork's pretty good too so I definitely recommend it“

“We were with some friends table of eight. We arrived on a Friday 4:30 in the afternoon. There's only one waitress working and she was overwhelmed so we waited a bit. About 5 o'clock her help arrived. After that the service was great. My husband and I both ordered a chicken quesadilla $14, and it arrived hot off the grill and was delicious, portions were generous. All of our group ate off the left side of the menu. They had a right side menu that I guess was more specialized and the prices were quite high. My only would be to say that the chairs were absolutely uncomfortable, rigid straight back chairs with no cushion at all Was very uncomfortable for our older group, but I would definitely return.“
