Idawild Brewing Company Brewery •
5270 W Chinden Blvd, Garden City

“This is a very nice family owned brewery on Chinden. I was waiting outside for my ride one afternoon when the husband and wife came out and invited me in for a drink while I waited. I should add that they were currently closed but still offered me to come in so I didn’t have to wait outside. This was my first time here and will definitely not be my last. Highly recommend!“

“Potter wines shows you the impact a family run business can make. They helped us put together a wonderful wedding celebration on extremely short notice. They anticipated our needs and spoiled us with a tasting before we went to dinner. Not only was the experience great, the WINE! They have a Syrah that is to die for. Cannot recommend them enough.“

Par Terre Winery Winery •

“What's not to love? A wife and husband owned winery + ballet studio. The Albariño is lovely. The merlot had a ton of character and completely drinkable. The Cabernet Sauvignon is delightful. The finish? Almost disappears then reappears as floral.“

Western Collective Brewery • $$
111 W 33rd St, Garden City

“This place is AWESOME! My husband and I stopped in here on a Monday afternoon with our dogs and had a great time. The minute we walked in we were graciously greeted by the bartender who immediately handed us a couple of menus. I didn’t get his name but he was absolutely wonderful from his prompt service, welcoming to our pups, making a killer pizza for us to his happy, kind demeanor. The pizza and beer were perfectly delicious, some of best we’ve ever had which is saying something, trust me. The setting was roomy and comfortable with a myriad of different seating and places where you could sit without feeling you’re on top of another party. When you have a big crazy dog like we do, that makes a big difference. Of course, our favorite part of the entire establishment is that they allow us to bring our pups…how cool is that!!“

Clairvoyant Brewing Company - West Brewpubs • $
9115 W Chinden Blvd #107, Garden City

“Stumbled across this brewery on our way to the state fair. What a gem! They have a pepper beer so naturally I asked if they had Clamato so I could make it a michelada. They did! Probably one of the best micheladas I've had since moving to Boise. The spice of the beer gives it a nice little kick. Will definitely be coming back to try their other beers as well.“

If you get the opportunity to try it I would definitely recommend it. By the way if you want to beat the crowds come in mid week and try all the beer 10/10 would come again. Not only where the staff quirky and friendly, they went out of their way and literally helped me change my flat tire, I am forever greatfull and will be coming back for years to come.“

“What makes a great bowl of Pho is the broth. I've been to a few places in the area, and Pho Nguyen definitely has the best broth. I would recommend this place over others.Get the beef and tendon bowl. The tendon is... ? and please, please do not add Hoison sauce to your pho. It's like putting sauce on a steak...so disrespectful to the chef. Not to mention, it's terrible for you? ?“

“Had an early Friday evening meal and drinks, and we couldn't have been happier. The amber beer on tap (forgot the name!) was one of the best local brews we've had in all of Boise! Will definitely bring a growler in next time to see if they will fill it! The Nitro stout was flavorful, but very flat, so I will have to give it a second chance at a later date.We shared a Prosciutto and Fig Jam Pinsa that was out of this world delicious! So good that I'm already craving a second one. Their dough/crust honestly puts most Boise pizza joints to shame! Well done, TDBC!!“

“The staff is what makes this location so fantastic and unique. Love coming here for the atmosphere, art, and awesome oat milk lattes.Push and Pour is a coffee shop chain that started in Boise, at the 24th street location. While there are now three stores throughout the area, this was the first, and it retains a great local flavor. This shop still has a bit of a foothills skateboard culture, and regularly rotates local artist through the shop. It actively participates in community events and is a treat to go to.In the fall and winter, there is often a fire in the firepit out front, and during the summer, it is a great place to walk to from Catherine Morison park, or from a River Tubing adventure. Always fun. Always good energy. Always good drinks.Pastries are good. Burrito is hearty and filling (give it 10 minutes). The sandwiches are light and enjoyable.“
