“A small diner but very clean and tidy, best empanadas I have ever tried, first time there and wasn’t sure about the spicy level of their sauces, and they let me try every one of them, very friendly and nice staff, will definitely recommend and revisit.“
“The food and overall atmosphere was great for Sunday brunch, but apparently they employ a DJ to play music on Sundays during brunch which is so loud, it was extremely difficult to carry on a conversation let alone enjoy your meal. My ears are still ringing. My friend and I weren’t the only people in the restaurant requesting the volume to be decreased. Brunch should be a relaxing atmosphere, not feeling like you are at a night club….“
“This is my go-to study place. I'd say it's the quietest coffee shop in Boise, so it's perfect if you wanna get some work done. They have THE BEST breakfast burritos here. Better than the coffee in my opinion. That said, the Coffee is pretty good, with fun, funky, seasonal drinks to choose from as well as traditional drinks. The service is what you'd expect and hope for. I'd give 4.5 stars if it were possible, so I highly recommend“
“At The Stil Ice Creamery on Eckert in Boise, Idaho, you're in for a treat. My go-to? "Easy Like Sunday Morning" - a flavor that's pure bliss. With locally sourced ingredients and a cozy vibe, it's the perfect spot for a sweet escape in Boise.“
“Recently went to this cute lil restaurant and it was fantastic! It has a deli inside that you can buy all kind of food and drinks from all over Germany to take home to fix. It also has a small restaurant that was fabulous! They have 8-10 items that are available including a huge Bavarian pretzel that 2-3 people can share. I myself tried the schnitzel sandwich on a pretzel bun and it was fantastic. I washed it down with a cold Octoberfest beer from the tap! They have 8 German beers on tap. There is also a Biergarten out back when the weather warms up. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back soon!!“
“One of my favorite places! I hate to "publicize" this small, homey diner because, at peak times, you will have to wait for a seat. It's the sort of place where the staff knows your name and remembers your "usual". The Avocado Eggs Benedict is my usual but my friend loves the HUGE omelets. Coffee comes in a large mug and is refilled often. Tucked into a business center, it is my go-to place for meeting up with friends.“
“Amazing ,unique, fresh, and that's just the employees. Lol The pizza is great! Flying pie is an upbeat place to go. It's like playing a banjo. You have no choice but to smile. I don't want to say too much because if everyone knew how lucky we are to have them it would turn into an in-and-out parking lot.“
“They weren't able to do the pour over due to an issue with the grinder, so they gave me an espresso on the house which was some of the best espresso I have ever had! Also the sparkling water with an espresso is a nice touch.Definitely will be back to try some of their different varieties in the future!“
“Beth and family have created a Boise brewing icon. Great beer selection with flagships Idaho Potato Ale, Ammo Bocks and Seasonal Lady M Stout. I have enjoyed watching Bear Island grow from a garage operation to moving into the Firehouse #6 Brewery. With Beth's lead and head brewer Alex brewing prowess, I will enjoy helping them grow some more.Cheers ?“
“Best tacos in the valley, probably best tacos in Idaho. I've had to go to San Diego to get better. And those weren't better, just "on par." Carne Asada and adobada are go-to's. Burritos are the best breakfast or luch deal around.“
“Huckleberry in all the things. Amazing food and milkshakes. 100% Boise tradition I'd take over In N Out any day. Going there always makes my dad tell the story to the drive through attendant that he used to come there every time growing up after baseball practice. “
“New Colony is a really nice brewery on the bench. The brewery is incredibly kids friendly which is nice - they didn't balk when we brought in our own dino nuggets! There were a couple of groups of kids here that were all playing in the space which was fun. The IPA was really nice. Because they're producing in small batches with no distribution, they delivered a really solid IPA.“
“Amazing! I have a large family and everyone from husband to my 5 year old child LOVED it!!! I can't wait to try everything on their menu. Great atmosphere whether you're dining in or dining in their patio. Phenomenal flavor in the meat, this place is a must try!“
“Best ice cream spot in Boise! My friends and I shared a flight (four different ice creams pairs with four different beer/wine). The gal working was super patient and helpful as we were very indecisive in picking our flavors. After letting us taste test and pick different ice cream flavors, she helped finding good beer and wine to go with the ice cream. She did such a good job because pairings were delicious! Their boozy ice creams are great and definitely worth trying. I personally was a huge fan of the berry cobbler paired with an ale. Highly recommend coming here and getting the flight!“
“It’s our first time at this location. We had a busy day so we decided to stop by c4 creamery on our was back home. We walked in feeling bad because it was close to closing time. Still we were treated so kindly by an outstanding customer service from Courtney she’s kind and lovely. Thank you for making our entire day with your beautiful smile and wonderful customer service.“
“Amazing place for bikes and debauchery. Weird and exotic beers on tap and in bottles/cans. The bartender is awesome and the regulars are full of information! The vibe of the place is your cabin-like feeling but on steroids. Check this place out.“
“Wow! I’m not very impressed by the overall food scene in Boise but this place was awesome!!!! The staff was courteous and helpful, the bartender was welcoming and friendly with everyone, the food was flavorful and really good. Queso fundido was awesome!!! Bravo for a great meal!!“
“Amazing little find. Great couple running the place too. Interesting history as well. The coffee is superb and roasted in Idaho. The cheesecake is fabulous. I'd tell you more but that was enough for a single visit. Will definitely be back and will encourage others. Worth the wait even if the lines out front. And it was.“
“Went in looking for some guidance for what to take for anxiety- Randy went above and beyond to help educate me on their products and ended up selling me the product that was BEST for ME! I left feeling confident in what I ended up purchasing and excited to try it.Thank you so much Randy.“
“Fantastic topping options and LOTS of activities for children (games, coloring). I loved that they featured local makers. The customer service was genuinely friendly and just overall top notch! Everything was very clean. Highly recommend!“
“Had a great afternoon with some friends for the sunday afternoon concerts for Treefort. I’d also like to highlight one of their lovely bartenders (the pretty one in the glasses) & the ever so delicious beer she sent my way thank you pretty lady & I hope the rest of your shift went smoothly!“
“This is my favorite hangs downtown. Great hole in the wall. The owner is a wonderful man. He listens to his customers and will often procure specific alcohols for the regulars after listening to their feedback. They just started serving bloody Mary’s on Sundays. They are fantastic! Jeremy always goes the extra mile. Also it’s worth going just for Jeremy’s special olives.“
“Classic American dine and drive in had really good food and shakes for a decent price. This place gets very busy during peak hours and was approved by Guy Fieri on his show. Portions are very large. Outdoor seating was okay nothing too special. The shakes were the best part and they have an absurd amount of flavors available.“
“Took my sister and her husband last night. We had the fondue and the Barada and beet salad, French onion, soup, Osso Bucco. The food was delicious, but the most impressive was Kara and her creative drinks and excellent service. Try the the slow burn gastric a proprietary drink that Kara created absolutely fantastic.“
“My husband and I really enjoy coming here with friends. We have done the private axe throwing option twice. I highly recommend it. You get a guide who shows you how to play, and keeps score so you can focus on just having fun! The food was delicious. I did knock off one star because service took awhile, and we had ordered one thing and just never got it.“
“Love this place!! I live in Southern California and this is the only Poke place I will eat at. The ingredients are always fresh. The bowls are creative and portions are huge! Service has always been friendly and helpful. Keep up the great food and service Paddles Up!“
“Love this small, friendly sports bar! Lots of TV's to catch almost any game or event. Teesa provided nice cold beverages and Hayden gilled up a fantastic burger. I look forward to returning for some more fun. Beer Buddies hub.Parking: Always plenty of spots available.“
“We were in town for the holiday and ate here the food was delicious the stuffed peppers make want to come back for more great service and felt the ambiance was comforting we had really great service. Highly recommend visiting the basque block and leku if you are in the area!!“
“Absolutely AMAZING foods! I got the vegetarian Philly cheesesteak samich my "husband" got the Peruvian samich and our moms got... A pastrami sandwich, a ½ BLT w/ the Tomato Bisque soup. I'm in HEAVEN or maybe Valhalla? Idk but YAS!Vegetarian options: You can get almost anything they have here in vegetarian form or vegan even.Dietary restrictions: Not sure?“
“This is one of my favorite places to study and drink a beer! Jade was super nice and friendly- it’s obvious that the employees care about this space. While she wasn’t taking care of customers she was taking the time to wipe down shelves and cleaning areas that could easily get overlooked. The owner is also super cool whenever I’m in here, great vibes all around.“
“The oldest brewery in Boise. Nice little place on Bogus Basin Road. Good ski and antique decor. Good beer selection, my brown ale was tasty.I ordered the 1/2 Reuben, which was a good choice for $9. Comes with a large portion of fries. The fries were okay, not a fan of the limpy style though. Salad or soup are also side choices. Plenty of meat and kraut on the sandwich.Liam took great care of us. Definitely worth a visit.“
“What a rad place! I was just passing through and pleased to come across a core shop only interested in carrying quality stuff and quality service.Andrew and crew made a mean cup of coffee and were generous in pointing me in the right direction to get some good riding in.“
“First of all, this is the first place in Boise that made me feel at home. The service is always great, the food menu is well thought out and always above my expectations. The mixology is always up to speed. I feel it is important to include the people that have served me well. Renee, Mya, Andrew, Haley, George, and Jacob are friendly and accommodating. The patrons are equally welcoming to anyone new to the area (which can be challenging). Come by! First round is on me!“
“As soon as I walked in I was greeted and guided on how the process works. Ordering was easy, and the staff were very helpful! We were checked on and we were able to easily ask for assistance from anyone passing by. 5/5 on serviceFood I was impressed with but not blown away, that said still quite well done. We had their bacon chili pepper fried with an aoli(sp?) dipping sauce that was flavorful. I order the Mac and cheese (very typical for me anywhere) and must say it was certainly above average. I enjoyed the flavor of the cheese, the pasta was cooked to perfection, and all around a solid Mac.My wife had one of the sandwiches and it was good, but also why I would only go with 4/5 on food. It was tasty, but I can't say I was keen on having more than a bite or two. Bread was fantastic, just didn't feel like a full sandwich. Not sure what could be added. It originally had mushroom and tomatoes, with bacon of course. I'm not a big veggie guy though, so I don't count that against total rating. My main issue here is it just felt like it was missing something to me based on the price.Atmosphere was great, loved the open feel. Looks and feels like a fantastic place! I would certainly consider going again and trying more options.“
“She just made a repeat customer out of me. I have three pugs and one celebrated her 11th birthday today (she was born 11-11-11), so I knew it was a biggie and wanted to do something special. I went in search of dog bakeries and found Woof N' Bake. I went to their Facebook and commented on one of the pictures and she responded to me immediately. I was so pleased with her communication with me and the fact that she was able to make me one on less than a week's notice. She also made it a point to ask if my dogs had any food allergies. They absolutely loved the cake. They were crazy excited. I will be ordering from them in the future.“
“After 3 days in Boise I’ve realised the beer and wine scene is fantastic. Clairvoyant is no different. It’s a stones throw from my air BnB and the staff are great. Boise seems to have a love and hate relationship with dogs - some places refuse them, some places tolerate them. But there’s some places that love them - including the Clairvoyant“
“Always great service, great atmosphere, and - above all - great pizza! The Fromage-a-Trois has been my favorite for years: From the menu: "For all but the fussiest kids this is a yummy step up from a plain cheese pizza. It's got an amazing mélange of 3 different cheeses: Provolone, Smoked Gouda, and Sharp Cheddar, on our famous Red Sauce, with a light sprinkling of Italian Herbs." As a picky adult, this pizza has been my favorite ever since I stepped foot in their door!“
“Tin Roof is a bit of a mixed experience. There breakfast tacos- BOMB. love them. Regular tacos for lunch/dinner - decent. A bit bland. And also a bit on the pricey side considering other taco shops in the near vicinity are cheaper and equal or better quality. If Tin Roof did $1 taco days like some of the other places..(look at Parilla) -you guys would increase volume exponentially. Also, easy on the salt for the chips! Last few times the chips have been almost too harsh due to over salting. I love Tin Roof, and their downtown location is a COOL atmosphere, especially outside. But there is some improvement to be made.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options.Parking: Very very small parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Standard wheelchair accessible“
“Allie is the BEST and her smoothie and hydration beverages are very nutritious. While visiting Boise it was our very favorite place to frequent. We thought the hydration beverage + meal replacement smoothie was such a killer option for the hot summer days we spent on the water and biking around town. This is a place where love and attention goes into all beverages and it seems she has a ton of returning customers - no doubt why! 10/10 recommend!“
“Wow is all I can say - this place is now my go to coffee stop! Just had a cup of standard coffee - was excellent flavor, not too hot and super inexpensive! And, she has lots of fancy coffee drinks too, and all the flavors my daughter loves. Highly recommend!“
“This place is a must for anyone coming to Boise. The pizza was absolutely delicious and served promptly. The cob salad was absolutely delicious. Best one i've ever had. Look for the guy with the beard. He's the best. He spoke to my kids with respect and was very friendly. My boys are 16, 13, and 10. Sometimes when we go to restaurants people taking the order and don't acknowledge them like their human and can order for themselves. The guy with the beard was very welcoming.“
“So this is for sure a DIVE bar, legit dive bar. A little dirty, slightly skeezie, BUT freaking awesome. We stopped in for a quick drink and enjoyed chatting with the regulars. It's a hole in the wall but reminds me of a good old-fashioned dirty bar!“
“Came out two evenings just recently and both times the specialty crafted drinks were divine, the bartenders are fun and friendly, and the burger and fries I ordered from the food truck were yummy! I always recommend this place to my friends.“
“The coffee and tea and pastries are fantastic. However, the food is seriously lacking. We ordered Huevos rancheros and received a small portion of scrambled eggs and beans with a tortilla on the side. Not huevos rancheros. Worst of all it cost $12. I was so disappointed. I hear their eggs Benedict is wonderful so maybe it's just a case of sticking to what they do well and taking the sub par items off the menu entirely.“
“A great place for a drink on date! The service was great and the seating is great as well. If you want pizza they have it too! I will definitely be back for the more classy environment then what other downtown Boise offers. I loved the booth with the curtains! The Mode is the place to be if you enjoy good service, good drinks and beautiful people.Dietary restrictions: GF corn nuts!“
“We had steamed clams and spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. We shared a large order of finger steaks with homemade fries. Our table was right next to a lit fireplace....Cozy, warm atmosphere. The server was attentive, and the chef we had that afternoon was great.“
“The staff at Janet's is phenomenal. The bartender, Brandon, knows his craft. always engaging and very proficient. Our band played there last weekend to a packed house and he took care of everybody so well. Dumpster Fire thanks you, Brandon!-Todd, James, Andy, and Anthony“
“I live close to the mill and every Friday morning I take my kids to get smoothies and hot chocolate while I get coffee. My daughter absolutely loves her smoothie. It tastes like a real fruit smoothie and not syrup. I always change up my coffee and I haven't been disappointed. We love the drive-thru option.“
“All around great place for food and drink. They just updated their menu last week with some new options. The gumbo was good, just not Cajun style as one would expect. More like a chicken noodle stew. A bit disappointed thar the cauliflower appetizer was removed. Brussels are very good.“
“You will absolutely love this underground pub!!! Delicious beers, wings, and the nicest owners you will ever meet. This is my favorite pub in Boise. They have fun theme nights too, including live music. I am so thankful Boise has such a unique and fun downtown pub.“
