“It's excellent meat served on 600 degree stones. What am I supposed to say against it? It was fantastic. A bit pricey but it's also not the kind of place you go to every week. I had the strip and it was amazing. You'll enjoy yourself if you go.Dietary restrictions: Gluten dairy and tree nuts“
“Had one of the best Reuben's I have had in a very long time. It was huge with a large portion of fries. No way I would have been able to eat more than half of it if it had been made anywhere else I've had one recently. But I left super stuffed because I devoured every last crumb. Yum mmmm. Now I want another.“
“I had no idea finger steaks could be made un-breaded. They were probably grilled rather than deep fried. The cook hand cut them, then and there. Absolutely delicious! The onion rings were awesome! I've heard great things about their pizza, can't wait to try it!“
“Really liked the atmosphere. Decor is mostly like an old fashion golf clubhouse which is very unique and relaxing. The bar and stools feel like really good quality and very comfortable. Great selection of beer taps. The shuffleboard table could use a tune-up, everything drifts right back into the center of the table. Seems like a great place to come down and watch some PGA orNFL sometime and have a couple pints.“
“13th Street pub and grill is worth a visit if you are in Boise. It is family friendly. The server was attentive and available. Most of our food was on point. However, the French fries were overly salty, and Curry soup was heavy-handed on the curry, which concealed the other flavors of the Curry soup. I would highly recommend the black and blue burger and the Cod and chips. For 5 of us, the bill was under $120 before tip. Consider the burger was Wagyu beef, and the salmon was fresh. Try the sweet potato fries.A draft beer is $6 and an old fashion is $13 if you want an adult beverage.“
“This is my favorite hangs downtown. Great hole in the wall. The owner is a wonderful man. He listens to his customers and will often procure specific alcohols for the regulars after listening to their feedback. They just started serving bloody Mary’s on Sundays. They are fantastic! Jeremy always goes the extra mile. Also it’s worth going just for Jeremy’s special olives.“
“Great place to go for a drink . Everyone there is chill, friendly. Bar tenders are Attentive and fun to talk to. They have couple pool tables and darts. They don't serve food but have a taco truck sometimes... which that food is delicious! We had a great time chatting with the locals ! Cheers“
“Little Pearl Oyster Bar is a shining pearl in the culinary landscape of Boise, and my recent visit left me absolutely enchanted. Nestled in the heart of downtown, this establishment is more than just a dining spot - it's an experience crafted to perfection. From the moment I stepped through the door on that lovely spring afternoon, I knew I was in for something special. Fortunately, I snagged a seat on the patio, where I was treated to stunning aesthetics that set the stage for a perfect date. The interior, expertly decorated, effortlessly transformed the evening into an upscale New England dining affair. Let's talk drinks. The menu is a masterpiece in itself, boasting a phenomenal selection of unique concoctions. I opted for the Norwegian, a delightful blend of Reyna Vodka, St. Germain, Lilt, fresh lemon juice, and muddled strawberry. The drink, much like the atmosphere, was designed to perfection, garnished with a strawberry and a toothpick bearing a "little pearl" skewered through it - a charming nod to the establishment's name. As an oyster aficionado, I was delighted by the array of options available. My partner and I indulged in four dozen oysters from various regions, guided by our knowledgeable servers who provided insights into each one's distinct taste and texture. Not only were the oysters delicious, but they were also surprisingly affordable, adding to the overall delight of the experience. And let's not forget the Kirin Japanese pilsner on tap - a rare find that further elevated our evening. In summary, Little Pearl Oyster Bar exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the exquisite ambiance to the impeccable service and delectable fare, it's a place I'll undoubtedly return to for many romantic evenings to come. If you're in search of a memorable dining experience that combines elegance with exceptional flavors, look no further than Little Pearl Oyster Bar.“
“Located just down the street from the hotel where I stay when I'm in Boise so it was very convenient for me. The place was busy at the dinner hour 5-6pm on a Saturday. I picked a booth off in the corner, Table 209 and my server was Micailey M. My amicable server was totally knowledgeable of the products and unobtrusive (i dislike servers checking up on me too often). I thought that because I was seated there that I would be overlooked and I was hangry. So, my server took my order. Got my cold double IPA craft brew in a few minutes. About 10 minutes later I got my fresh hot pie that was super tasty. I recommend a half and half. I had the Bubba and the other half was Sausage and Peppers. Oh so good! The atmosphere had a really nice chill vibe with red and white checkered table cloths, piped in music was just the right volume for pizza and brews crowd. Out front, there's a big red bench for taking pics. I'll be back!“
“Such a fun night. You need a reservation to get the password for entrance. The concept is amazing. We had a blast enjoying the fun evening. The drinks are pricy but delicious and creative. I was sad that the Elvis inspired cocktail is no longer available. It sounded amazing.“
“One of my favorite cozy not quite neighborhood but sorta kinda neighborhood vibes place. Dive bar kinda feel without being an actual dive bar, and definitely not pretentious. Prices for drinks are insanely affordable, think cactus and pengillys, with kind and attentive bartenders. Tonight there was no cocktail server and it was absolutely packed, but we still got our drinks within maybe 3 or 4 minutes. Vibes are relaxed but not boring! Music is great - think old school, and perfect background for conversations and hanging out. No games or pool tables or things like that, but I don't feel like we're missing out on anything. And tons of small and bigger tables for whatever party size you're with.“
“There seems to be a general lack of understanding about the Basque Center in Boise - certainly among non-Basques. The Basque Center was built in 1949 and is a gathering place for Basque people in the area as well as non-Basques. It is available for rent and it has a huge kitchen in the basement for catering events. This past Saturday in support of the Basque Block Christmas Market, the Center featured the Basque music group, Txantxangorriak, and performances by Boiseko Gazteak, which teaches traditional Basque dance children from 4 to 13 years of age. It was a lively afternoon of traditional music and dance while the largely Basque crowd cheered and appreciated the show of talents. The Center is open to the public and non-Basques should not be intimidated to enter the bar for a good strong drink at a really low price. Be mindful that the Center is closed Monday, serves drinks after 3 pm Tues-Thur and has extensive hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Center is celebrating the 93rd Sheepherders Ball on Saturday, December 17th with a dinner that is currently sold out. After the dinner, the Oinkari Dancers (ages 14 and above) will perform at 8:00 PM, followed by a lamb auction which raises funds for the Basque Charities account. The dance, featuring the popular band "Amuma Says No", will begin after the lamb auction. The cost of admission to the dance is $5 for adults and children under 12 are admitted for free.“
“Definitely a great dive bar! They have a good selection of 10+ different beers. There are a couple pool tables. They have weekly music performances that are both cool and mildly annoying if you are just coming there for a drink after work. The bartenders are friendly and sassy in the best way! They are also quick to serve you!“
“Well, it had been a while since I'd hit up old Jim's Alibi, but I went with friends to karaoke night on a Monday night and it was packed. The music is a little loud for my tastes, however, the rest of the crowd seemed to love hanging up on the microphone and singing their hearts out. If it's crowded inside though, there's plenty of standing room in the back patio too.“
“First of all, this is the first place in Boise that made me feel at home. The service is always great, the food menu is well thought out and always above my expectations. The mixology is always up to speed. I feel it is important to include the people that have served me well. Renee, Mya, Andrew, Haley, George, and Jacob are friendly and accommodating. The patrons are equally welcoming to anyone new to the area (which can be challenging). Come by! First round is on me!“
“I go to Sam's for the karaoke. This is definitely not a country bar, but I can sing country songs from the 90s, 80s and 70s and still get an applause, so I would say country music is accepted. Staff members are very good, kind and polite. I only had an order of fries to eat, thus not comments on the food.“
“The best dive bar in boise. Karoake and great bartenders. The owner bartends and makes sure the atmosphere is spectacular. Doug is the bomb. Curtis is the bomb. Great place for a drink...all the bartenders are the bomb. The O rocks...come visit the O for a great time.“
“The chips and salsa enhance the experience, but it's really all about the drinks, the ambiance, and the pet-friendliness. Picture it: a warm, sunny day in Boise, sand under your sandaled feet, beachy tunes playing in the background, friendly dogs under tables, a cold beer, and your good friends. The staff/owners are great, too. You want to be here.“
“The Shredder puts killer shows for touring acts and local artists alike. Hardcore acts frequent here. The atmosphere has personality, lots of arcade games, hardcore posters, props and weird decorations to look at. They provide free water to guests.Having performed here myself I can say the crew is respectful and great. They treat the artists well. The live sound quality is good but usually mixed loud, so bring earplugs.“
“This place is a must for anyone coming to Boise. The pizza was absolutely delicious and served promptly. The cob salad was absolutely delicious. Best one i've ever had. Look for the guy with the beard. He's the best. He spoke to my kids with respect and was very friendly. My boys are 16, 13, and 10. Sometimes when we go to restaurants people taking the order and don't acknowledge them like their human and can order for themselves. The guy with the beard was very welcoming.“
“Great ambience. Delicious well priced drinks. We were there on a Tuesday and the poor bar tender was alone and slammed. He said it's not usually busy on Tuesday's but there was some local event that day. But I think he did a great job handling all those people and still putting care into each drink. Many of which require a lot of effort. He must have called for back up cause eventually someone else showed up to help him.“
“My first time in today… Some of the best food I’ve had in a while, the sweet and spicy wings were also the best wings I’ve ever had, they topped buffalo and wingstop! I will be coming here A LOT MORE to try out some of they’re other menu items! 6 STAR!“
“Neighborhood bar good size outdoor space with two horseshoe pits cornhole fire pit and barbecue grill, inside- pool table, ping pong table, darts, and golf game. A lot of friendly neighborhood regulars. beer Wine Bar only so I don't think they serve wine but they do serve white claws and trulies I believe and my favorite Red Bull cash only! They do have an ATM machine. Men's restroom not so nice I hear the women's is though staff is always nice and friendly easy to make friends there very welcoming and pet friendly cheers ?“
“I wouldn't call Fireside a dive but it's got a "vibe." What that vibe is and if it's gotten better or worse depends who you talk to. Worth checking out, see if it's the place for you. This might be the most unhelpful review I've written.“
“So this is for sure a DIVE bar, legit dive bar. A little dirty, slightly skeezie, BUT freaking awesome. We stopped in for a quick drink and enjoyed chatting with the regulars. It's a hole in the wall but reminds me of a good old-fashioned dirty bar!“
“Came out two evenings just recently and both times the specialty crafted drinks were divine, the bartenders are fun and friendly, and the burger and fries I ordered from the food truck were yummy! I always recommend this place to my friends.“
“Kin is more than a restaurant. It is a wholesale Dining experience from ambiance, surroundings to food and drink. Attention is paid to every detail and it each one is executed flawlessly. Love the rotating menus, the rotating art on sight, and the thoughtfulness paid to wine pairings AND non-alcoholic pairings. I cannot wait to go again. Thank you to the Chef and staff for creating such an amazing experience!“
