“Kin is more than a restaurant. It is a wholesale Dining experience from ambiance, surroundings to food and drink. Attention is paid to every detail and it each one is executed flawlessly. Love the rotating menus, the rotating art on sight, and the thoughtfulness paid to wine pairings AND non-alcoholic pairings. I cannot wait to go again. Thank you to the Chef and staff for creating such an amazing experience!“
“This restaurant has an interesting menu, with prices on the high side. It's not full-on Mexican (no burritos, enchiladas, etc), and has a Spanish flare. The coconut shrimp was excellent, and my chicken fajitas had a good, slightly spicy, tangy sauce. The wait staff was very attentive, and food service was quick. The only drawback was the dark dining room, which I'd rate a 3/10 for lighting. We needed to use our flashlights to read the menu and to identify a few other tabletop items.“
“We enjoy a good meal at Percy when we are in town as we have an apartment in the building, making for a convenient dining out experience. Great bourbon selections. Entree prices are not ridiculously high, but it isn't a bargain either (for three, we normally spend $80 for entrees to $120 for dinner and a couple of drinks and an appetizer. Pasta with short ribs and the wagyu burger are our go-to order. Servers are always attentive. Very busy at peak hours (which can mean high ambient noise and a little tough to enjoy conversation with your family or friends). Unless you wait for your table at the bar, the entrance gets congested, and you get to do the "waiting for the table dance" with other patrons entering and leaving. Plentiful street parking within a block radius.“
“This is my go-to study place. I'd say it's the quietest coffee shop in Boise, so it's perfect if you wanna get some work done. They have THE BEST breakfast burritos here. Better than the coffee in my opinion. That said, the Coffee is pretty good, with fun, funky, seasonal drinks to choose from as well as traditional drinks. The service is what you'd expect and hope for. I'd give 4.5 stars if it were possible, so I highly recommend“
“My daughter is going to Boise State for school so I'm getting to know this town and have so far not had anything bad to eat. The Front Door has great pizza and it's a fun place to hang out. Philly Cheesesteak Stake Pizza was super tasty!“
“Lovely little restaurant with amazing artisan pizzas that are bursting with flavor! We tried the margherita, Bronco and one of the seasonal pies (Home Sweet Home, with the parmesan cream sauce). They were all delightful! We also had the meatball appetizer, which was also delicious. My friends both got salads and raved about them. Service was also top notch. I cannot wait to go again!“

“THE BEST COCKTAILS Bar in Boise, for sure!Their drink creations taste complex and well-balanced. They are great at the classics and have a classics menu (like the rosemary Rubicon) and have a menu that's fun to pick from. Their "Method 104" let's the bartender think of a customized drink for you - and their cocktails always hit. I had the ube flavored Studded Belt and would deff recommend! The staff are friendly and it feels cozy and comfortable there.Go downstairs to visit either via 8th street or from the back near the gridiron steakhouse“
“Great speak easy in down town Boise. Don’t be afraid to go through the curtains. What’s on the other side is a bar that feels like cheers, everyone knows your name m, unless it’s your first time. If it’s around Christmas make sure you get the Hot Buttered Rum. It will make you get in the spirit and feel like home.“
“I don't even recall when I first stayed at this hotel, maybe 2012. I've been back many many times since. The Modern is always the first and/or last stop of my ski season travels. Coming or going, you will find me enjoying a cocktail at the modern bar after a long drive. Given its tiny size and location in a boutique hotel far enough off the main drag to be inconvenient, it's always packed. Kind of the place to be seen in Boise. The drinks are awesome and the food is excellent. If you're a guest of the hotel, their complimentary breakfast is superb ... How many places have you stayed where a bacon fritatta is a breakfast choice? None, that's how many.“
“Cody gave some great service. I'm choosing to believe it's because he thought I was cute, but his professionalism is apparent and he made time for me despite obviously having to serve several other tables. Brenda also made a mean red panda. Cheers to Bardenay, I'll definitely return!“
“I'd go 3.5 stars if I could. Great concept, super great staff but the food wasn't mind blowing. I got the Shrimp and grits - grits were a little runny but the bacon was great. The poached egg was done in a pod - which felt strange for a restaurant. My friend said I HAD to get the Mac and cheese - and I see why - it was incredible. Their espresso was a little sour - so not my fav. There was no wait on a rainy Saturday morning - and the atmosphere was great! Can't say enough about how sweat the staff was - I felt like I was in the south. Counter service“
“Took my sister and her husband last night. We had the fondue and the Barada and beet salad, French onion, soup, Osso Bucco. The food was delicious, but the most impressive was Kara and her creative drinks and excellent service. Try the the slow burn gastric a proprietary drink that Kara created absolutely fantastic.“
“My husband and I really enjoy coming here with friends. We have done the private axe throwing option twice. I highly recommend it. You get a guide who shows you how to play, and keeps score so you can focus on just having fun! The food was delicious. I did knock off one star because service took awhile, and we had ordered one thing and just never got it.“
“I love going to WilliB's for live music and their amazing corned beef tacos!! It's a very popular saloon so if you want to get close to the band you have to get there early to grab a table. The dance floor is small so be considerate to others.“
“Such a fun night. You need a reservation to get the password for entrance. The concept is amazing. We had a blast enjoying the fun evening. The drinks are pricy but delicious and creative. I was sad that the Elvis inspired cocktail is no longer available. It sounded amazing.“
“We were in town for the holiday and ate here the food was delicious the stuffed peppers make want to come back for more great service and felt the ambiance was comforting we had really great service. Highly recommend visiting the basque block and leku if you are in the area!!“
“First of all, this is the first place in Boise that made me feel at home. The service is always great, the food menu is well thought out and always above my expectations. The mixology is always up to speed. I feel it is important to include the people that have served me well. Renee, Mya, Andrew, Haley, George, and Jacob are friendly and accommodating. The patrons are equally welcoming to anyone new to the area (which can be challenging). Come by! First round is on me!“
“The main reason we came in was to check out the cocktails as Boise is a bit limited in that area. We're glad we did! Open air seating available in summer. We had a few food items at happy hour and the food was quite tasty. Derick behind the bar was a great bartender and made us great cocktails. We'll definitely be back. We recommend checking out their happy hour.“
“Okay this place is seriously delicious. I would recommend coming during the week as it's a quaint space and I can imagine it gets packed on the weekends. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the greens were literally mouth watering. We will be back!“
“Love love love this place!! The food is outstanding and the service is always great too! We order take out fairly often but also like to bring our friends to dine in. So many great menu items! The Korean Beef Tacos, Beef Chow Fun, the flatbread, the Pad See Ew!! All so good!“
“A great place for a drink on date! The service was great and the seating is great as well. If you want pizza they have it too! I will definitely be back for the more classy environment then what other downtown Boise offers. I loved the booth with the curtains! The Mode is the place to be if you enjoy good service, good drinks and beautiful people.Dietary restrictions: GF corn nuts!“
“#boisenative We went here before a show at the Morrison Center. I didn't want to go. Hate downtown now. I was so pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely amazing and the drinks were off the hook good. I was expecting another overly priced downtown bar and was way wrong. My group of 8 walked in as they opened and I'm pretty sure we ordered everything off both the drink and food menu's. Nothing was bad. We were shocked at how great everything was. You have to try the egg roll poppers!!!Ok, here's the con. Although our servers were amazing and I was blown away how our bar tender could make suck amazing drinks for as many people as were there the service was incredibly slow. I don't blame any off the staff though. They were trying so hard and so pleasant to everyone. They were just short staffed. If you're a downtown bar you can not have 1 bar tender and 1 server on a Friday evening prior to multiple shows and events. Ownership you have something great going on here. Don't let it slip away because you're afraid to hire people.I will ? go back at least once and I'll continue to tip the amazing staff we had very well, but 2 people can not be expected to keep up with that kind of rush.“
“I came here with a friend and it was both of our first time. Everything and everyone was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they had plenty of pool tables, the games they have are awesome and the food was fantastic. I got their nachos and they were fantastic. Great food, great people, great place. 5 stars!!!“
“Sympo is cool, there's 1 nighttime bartender that's a drunk tramp, the rest of the bartenders are sweet and beautiful. The crowd is mostly working class people. They allow dogs and have a cool patio. If you haven't been here you should check it “
“This was our 3'rd visit to The James and each time was delicious. The menu items cover a wide gambit for any taste, from pizza to steak. We especially loved the tuna tartare!I do want to mention their star bartender, Lindsey. She is over the top friendly and manages the many drink orders coming in with ease. All in all a fun and inviting place - especially sitting at the bar. We will be back. And oh, be sure to check out their happy hour.Parking: On game days parking is a challenge.“
“We had a great experience here. The food was good, our service was good and the atmosphere was really fun. The restaurant was pretty loud but it was a fun vibe with people ranging in ages. I got the three for $35 where you can choose a soup or salad, Entree and then dessert for $35.“
“I had no idea this place existed (granted I moved away from Boise 5 years ago) but I will definitely be going back- every cocktail on the menu sounded amazing and the ones we got WERE amazing. The back patio is SO COOL and the cocktail waiter was so patient and tolerated us being kind of obnoxious lol.“
“This is a gorgeous place! Service was amazing and the drinks were very tasty. We tried 4 different drinks and they all had a very unique flavor to them. The atmosphere was very cozy and we got a kick out of the fact they were playing Bob Ross on the TV. As my husband would say, "I would rather watch Bob Ross than a game." It was a great experience and we will be back very soon.“
“Great ambience. Delicious well priced drinks. We were there on a Tuesday and the poor bar tender was alone and slammed. He said it's not usually busy on Tuesday's but there was some local event that day. But I think he did a great job handling all those people and still putting care into each drink. Many of which require a lot of effort. He must have called for back up cause eventually someone else showed up to help him.“
“The food and atmosphere are phenomenal. My expectations were exceeded and the barrio margarita was one of the absolute smoothest I have had. I did not have the opportunity to try any additional drinks but to have amazing food and drinks, yes please. I will definitely be back! Thank you for the amazing experience! I ordered the chips and guac with salsa, quesabirria, and steak quesadilla. All completely wonderful!“
“We came in for drinks and the chile relleno dip, but the food was so good and we were having so much fun we decided to stay for dinner. You will not find a harder working, more pleasant staff in all of Boise! Tatum took great care of us and made sure we had a great time. If we lived closer, we'd be regulars!“
“I recently had a delightful meal at The Lively. The food was absolutely fantastic! The dishes were beautifully prepared, and the flavors were outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the Swardfish, which was rich in flavor and balanced. However, I do have a small piece of feedback regarding the service. While the staff were friendly and attentive, they seemed a little over-eager at times. Plates were cleared quite quickly, even when one guest was still eating. Additionally, we were frequently asked if everything was alright, which felt slightly disruptive to the conversation. It would be fantastic if the service could strike a balance between attentive and allowing guests to enjoy their meal at their own pace.Overall, I had a very positive experience at The Lively and would definitely recommend it for the amazing food. With a slight adjustment to the service style, I believe it could be an even more enjoyable experience for everyone.“
“During my recent visit to Thick as Thieves in Boise, Idaho, I was utterly captivated by the exceptional atmosphere that it exudes. It's the epitome of class and elegance, a rare gem in the city where the ambiance truly sets the tone for a memorable evening. The dim lighting paired with the gentle glow of candles creates an intimate setting that is both cozy and inviting, perfect for those seeking a serene spot for two.The service here is impeccable, with attentive staff who ensure your experience is nothing short of perfect. Thick as Thieves has certainly set a new benchmark for what a classy dining experience should feel like. Highly recommended for anyone looking to immerse themselves in a sophisticated and tranquil environment.“
