Saint Lawrence Gridiron is a restaurant with a darkly genius name. The place is quaint and clean, with great service. The food had some missteps in flavor, like the over-salted reduction on the poutine fries. The PBR platter had meats and veggies with similar flavors, but the cornbread was fantastic. The old fashion cocktail was worth the price, as was the refreshing pilsner on draft. While on the pricier side, the Bee's Knees cocktail and the Gridiron burger with addictive fries were incredibly tasty. The pickles on the burger stood out, and the patties were perfectly cooked. Overall, the experience was great, despite the lack of vegetarian options on the menu and parking struggles downtown.
