“I spent about 3 hours here on St. Patrick's Day. It was my first time here. The weather was good so we could be outside. My rating of 4 stars for atmosphere is based on being outside; I cannot say what it is like to spend time inside. The inside seemed like what one would expect of a neighborhood bar.I had to park far down the side street from the pub. There is very little on-site parking. It was not surprising to have to park far away given this place is on the corner of a busy main street and a lot of people attended this holiday eventThe staff had decorated for the holiday and they were dressed in green as were many of the patrons. It was crowded so we were lucky to get a place to sit.One of the first things I noticed was the stench of cigarette smoke. It was strong even though we were outside. Later it was not noticeable so the smokers must have left. The smoke and inadequate seating are why I have given 4 stars for atmosphere.Patrons had to go to the bar inside to get their drinks. There was a bar outside but I didn't see staff there the couple of times I passed by. The bar was super busy so they ran out of glasses. The staff members were working hard to take care of everyone. The staff were friendly and efficient.There were so many people attending this event that it was too loud to be able to hear my table mates. Again, not surprising.At 3:00 a rock band started playing. The music was fun but it was way too loud--even for outside. I noticed this pub regularly has bands outside in the summer.The pub had a counter set up outside where they were serving plates of corned beef and vegetables. Patrons paid $8 inside at the bar and took a token to the food table. The food was good and was like you would get at a family meal. The food wasn't hot because the staff had the lids off the roasting ovens in order to seve the food. The food was good anyway, the portions were generous and the price was right.After I ate I left. There were bagpipers later in the day. I was told that they were not too loud, which is good!I think this pub is fine for a neighborhood bar. For people who like hanging out outside and listening to music during the summer at a neighborhood bar it is a good place to go.“

“My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here last night. We had the beef stroganoff and smoked salmon fettuccine, respectively. Both of our meals were very good. Our server, Victoria, was friendly and attentive. They have a good selection of wines by the glass. I have also enjoyed brunch and coffee here.“

“Wife and I came for a quick stop on our honeymoon. Long story short it took up the rest of our evening. We ended up potting more plants after the initial terrariums we built because we were enjoying ourselves THAT much. The owner (wish I could remember names better) was very involved where she needed to be (told my wife exactly what was was per friendly and HOW per friendly and WHY) and very hands off where it was deserved (we had three more adult beverages!) I'm without words. What an amazing experience. We will be bringing every person we know here to share this local adventure.“

“This place is an unknown gem here in the gem state. Yes it looks a bit rough but the waitresses were very attentive. You order from the white board and it has its specials. On Fridays they have this massive crab meat mound with some large shrimp in it. Is 45.00 and it will feed two people. If is a hidden gem.“

“This place had a peaceful and cool atmosphere when I went. I think they are the same owners as grants, and they are hard to find at first. The gps took us to grants, and this sidecar bar is hard to see. They should get a sign up so people can see it.
The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was perfect, and the drinks were really great!“

“My wife and I have always felt welcome from the first time we came thru the door in 2020 till now. I love the aspect that they are cool with well behaved Canines. Its' a homey kind of feel, reasonable prices on the beer. The addition of the patio and new outside bar give the freedom of relaxing in the sun. They do not have a kitchen,. but are cool with you bringing in your own or buy some on site when the food Vendors visit. New to the area or you have been here for twenty years, they always treat you like family.“

“During our roadtrip we stopped over in Boise and got onto our handy dandy GT Caddy app, where we came across this gem. From the moment my husband and I walked through the door we were treated like family. The locals were very friendly. We were invited to play GT with the local boys and had a wonderful time. The server was great, yhe beer was cold. If you like a standard no fluff backwoods bar this is the place for you!We did not have any food, so I can't rate that.“

“I go here for the karaoke on Friday - Sunday nights. The people are welcoming and the drinks are stiff. My friend runs the karaoke here and so I went to support him. Pretty good sound system. It does get a little crowded at times, however, that should be a testament in and of itself that it's a fun place to go and toss a few back with your friends.“
