“Great place for a date night, we went to celebrate our anniversary which happens to be a couple of days before Valentine’s Day. We choose Crave as a suggestion from friends Ana family and because it had the red romantic vibe (we thought). The lights outside weren’t red like the photo, they’re blue, I think maybe they alternate colors? We ordered a couple of drinks, spinach & artichoke dip, short rib dumplings, oysters on a half shell, lobster crab roll, Thai steak and noodles. Everything was good, except the dumplings which were a bit doughy for my taste. Overall I can see why this is such a popular Eagle restaurant. They’re good for a lot of different occasions.“

“McCleary’s is hands-down my favorite dive bar in Boise. The vibe is immaculate, and the bartenders do a great job making sure everyone’s taken care of. There’s both an indoor bar and an outdoor bar. The crowd here is surprisingly young, and the backyard has tons of games. Giant beer pong, table tennis, Jenga, and more.

On Saturdays, they bring in live music, which is honestly the only day I avoid. It gets so loud you can’t really have a conversation, and it just isn’t enjoyable for me. Every other night, though, I love it, especially Fridays! I always end up meeting fun people, and the drinks are inexpensive.

If you’re looking for a spot to hang out with friends or meet a younger crowd, this is the place. If you’re into loud music and don’t care about talking, then Saturday nights are your jam.

This bar shines in the spring, summer, and fall. I skip it in the winter because the backyard doesn’t stay warm. They only have a couple of fire pits, and while they work, they’re not enough to make it cozy, you will still feel frigid. The indoor area is smaller than your typical dive bar: small, cramped, and it fills up fast when it’s cold out. But when the weather’s nice, this is the best dive bar in the valley.

Oh, and I don’t think they actually sell food, but every now and then there’s a food truck parked outside, which is a nice bonus.“

“My husband and I have been dining here for 5-plus years, so I'm reviewing as a regular customer. I order the seafood lasagna and my husband gets the meat lasagna. In our minds we've found magnificent options, so why change? I"m sure other entrees are also wonderful, though,so I'm committed to trying something different next time. Maybe .We ordered the calamari appetizer in the bar a few months ago and it was better than the typical calamari offered by many restaurants.It was crispy, not greasy, and had a flavorful sauce that didn't taste like marinara from a bottle. Usually, we don't order appetizers here because the entrees are generously portioned. While we rarely have room left for dessert, the few times we've ordered it, it's been decent, but not memorable. That being said, ask your server if berry cobbler is available. If it is, order in advance (hot with vanilla ice cream) and save room for it. You'll thank this review later. Dinners start with the house salad and excellent bread (seriously delicious) and whatever beverages you want. There is a full bar and we've never been served a less-than cocktail. The wine menu is fairly basic with decent, affordable options. There are wines that will appeal to connoisseurs, as well. If you're looking for a place to watch a game and get a drink, the bar is cozy, and friendly with two or three tv's showing various sporting events (or just one if you're there during a Boise State Broncos game). You can order appetizers and dinner and eat in the bar, if you prefer that to the dining room. The restaurant is unpretentious and the people running it are friendly. Service has always been attentive and friendly. Occasionally there is live music. The restaurant is a bit on the small side and when it's busy, it gets noisy. It's not the best place for a quiet conversation and I wouldn't consider it romantic. It's got great food however, and a nice vibe! Dress is casual. Get reservations if you're showing up later than 5:30 on a Friday or Saturday. It's a busy place and is popular with us locals for a reason.“

“Had a great time creating a terrarium for my office here with family all while enjoying a few adult beverages. This is a fun place. The staff helped make sure plant choices fit with the vessel I chose and what I envisioned for it. My creation is still doing great and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.“

“Divey dive bar. Went for breakfast. Service was good food could have been better. Hashbrowns tasted like the were soaked in rancid oil. Eggs were cooled fine but there was a slight rancid oil taste on the ham as well. Drinks were cold and fast. Probably be a good bar for $2 happy hour pints.“

“My wife and I have always felt welcome from the first time we came thru the door in 2020 till now. I love the aspect that they are cool with well behaved Canines. Its' a homey kind of feel, reasonable prices on the beer. The addition of the patio and new outside bar give the freedom of relaxing in the sun. They do not have a kitchen,. but are cool with you bringing in your own or buy some on site when the food Vendors visit. New to the area or you have been here for twenty years, they always treat you like family.“

“A few minutes drive from the Motel 6 and Best Western + off the 84 freeway at Kuna exit. Return visit from last month because it's laid back, friendly small town feel. Bullseye Bar is the bar attached to the Meridian Lanes Bowling Lanes. use the separate entrance to the right of the bowling alley.
They host a lot of serious dart leagues there! It's very easy going at with friendly bar sevice and a reaonably priced grub menu. Comfortable stop for travelers. ( I am comfortable walking out in the dark by myself to my car) and I'll return my next visit for the reliable grub, service, and atmosphere. Did I mention 3- 5 minutes drive from lodging?“

Suits it's purpose as a meeting place for like-minded patrons to get their drink on after work. Mostly a slightly older crowd during the week, that being late 30s and up. Food was excellent…have the Tempura green beans and then the Brutus Salad is excellent with chicken or salmon. The Atlantic salmon was grilled to perfection (medium with delicately medium seasoned saffron rice). Try the saffron infused Creme Brulet for dessert and enjoy live Jazz and after-dinner drinks at the Sidecar. However, make reservations if you want a table for dinner and after-dinner entertainment…take out available.“

“This places livens up around 10pm. DJ usually has a groovy set, drinks are reasonable and options are plentiful. The back patio area is large and great for getting some fresh air or socializing. Inside, you’ll find a few pool tables and some gambling machines. The music is loud and booming inside, if you have sensitive ears you’ll leave with numb eardrums. Patrons are usually friendly and there for a good time. Staff and security do a great job walking the floor picking up empty glasses or responding to broken ones. It’s definitely an entertaining bar and club! If you’re drinking, plan ahead with a DD or uber.“

We’re all about trying new places and as I was going through the list of what was open and what wasn’t I kept coming back to this one. I’m soooo glad we went to 127 Saloon. The food was absolutely the best! The staff was awesome! We didn’t have a reservation but were able to find a place at the bar, they let us know if we couldn’t find a seat to let them know and they would find us one. The place was CLEAN and light.
