“I had my best friend come in for new years so we decided to do a pick up and eat at home so we could catch up and watch movies - I expected good food - but this was AMAZING food and I am already planning my return this weekend because I have been dreaming about the food we ate. I am so glad I live close in Garden City!! I will be coming at least every other week because I am obsessed now! you must try and don't pass up this place. I didn't think I liked German food, but boy oh boy was I wrong!!!“

“Very cute unassuming place. Locate in a strip mall in Eagle you enter into a beautifully decorated and warm restaurant. We opted to sit outside and was also very pleasantly decorated and spacious! Service was wonderful, our server was so sweet. She made eye contact and even helped navigate our drink orders to our preferences when she alerted us they were out of certain ingredients. Really appreciate her going the extra mile. I can't drink alcohol due to medication interactions, but I like a mocktail or 0.0 beer. She made sure I was getting the correct product without me feeling embarrassed. Rockstar.

“I have to give Dylan credit amazing server in a lot of fun. We had some strange cheese appetizer that I would’ve literally thousand pieces of if I could get away with it. My main course was fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. I find myself eating a lot of the bread too. Lol please please please very great option for lunch. Affordable how are you my company? Enjoy the side salad with soup and I really had to tell you, you should order the nitro cold brew with cream if you need to wake yourself up. Again, compliments to the service, and the amazing layout of this restaurant I’ve been away from Boise for 15 years, in a very pleased to see some of the new additions as well as an eagle Cheers! “Had a wonderful lunch here. Warm and convivial host and server, good food. Not to mention a great atmosphere with good peaceful music. Even the espresso was high quality.

These other people giving this place bad reviews because it’s “expensive” are ridiculous. Everything tasted hand made and they could just not go? Why run down a small family restaurant like that??“

“Navigating the Construction for a Bodacious Reward 🐷🐷🐷 Today, I had a lunch meeting at Bodacious Pig Barbecue, and we were determined to get there despite the construction on Old State Street. The road work is a bit of a mess, but it’s a small price to pay to support a local business that has been an Eagle staple since 2013. The restaurant, located directly in the heart of the construction zone in front of the Old State Saloon, is a prime example of a business persevering through difficult times. Stepping inside, the aroma of slow-smoked barbecue instantly makes you forget the detours and road closures outside. We wanted to show our support and encourage others to do the same. If you're deciding where to eat this week or weekend, please make the effort to visit them. A little bit of effort on our part goes a long way in supporting the local businesses that make Eagle great.“

“I loved the atmosphere and the staff were all super friendly and attentive and very kind to my nieces. The food was hit or miss. I loved the buttermilk pancakes (aka hot cakes). The veggie omelet lacks flavor (Thank goodness for the salsa.) Would not order that again. The English muffin and jam were quite good. The cinnamon roll was mediocre (not worth the calories). The sweet crepe was quite tasty. (Loved the filling and huckleberry.) My mom said the bacon was just OK (it looked like it too.) The hash browns were ok, better with ketchup or salsa. In sum, I recommend coming here. Just order what's good.“

“This review is for the Garden City location!! I have loved this place for a long time. But unfortunately tonight my Katsu was burnt to a crisp, fried rice was as dry as the Sahara. My kids plate was the same order and not any better. My partner's orange chicken was rubbery, like it had been out for a long time. Her Katsu was burnt as well. We have eaten there so many times but the last 2 times it's been absolutely terrible as well and I feel like it was a waste of money. We made macaroni and cheese because we had to throw it out. Next time, we will have to go to the Meridian location and see if our luck is better, but it's going to be a while before we do.“

“My husband and I just love eating at China Palace. Everything we have eaten there has been so delicious, and it is our favorite place to go for Chinese food, which is pretty often. Everyone has been super friendly and nice to us every time we’ve visited, even the chef came out one time and was talking with my husband. I highly recommend it, they have super yummy and delicious food there.😊“

“Eat here all the time. The food never gets old. It is so good from the ribs to the Brisket and the Tri tip. Love there sides. Mac and Cheese my favorite but the Baked beans and smashed potatoes are incredible as well. Love how you don’t have to sit for hours to get my food. I never have to wait. It’s prompt service. Price is reasonable considering the cost of meat and everything being made homemade. The tastes are signature. I used to live in Missouri and thought I had tasted some of the best barbecue but not until now. So good you will not regret it. The deserts are incredible as well. The Bread pudding sundae or a mixed berry cobbler. Yum They also added new stuff to the menu. The brisket tacos and their new hamburgers. Then to top it off they added Breakfast the Brisket Benedict my favorite but their waffles are light and fluffy. Definitely a five star all around. Can’t wait to go back.“
