My son took us to celebrate my birthday. What a wonderful experience. The service was impeccable. The food was extraordinary. Four people, two appetizers, four different entrees and two desserts. Everything was spot on, delicious.
The pace of the service is remarkable. Very attentive, yet relaxed, never felt rushed. We could actually hear each other and share conversation as we broke bread together. The wine library is a nice touch. The ambiance is very romantic. Perfect for date night or a nice family dinner. I really can't say enough, no notes. True fine dining.

“Navigating the Construction for a Bodacious Reward 🐷🐷🐷 Today, I had a lunch meeting at Bodacious Pig Barbecue, and we were determined to get there despite the construction on Old State Street. The road work is a bit of a mess, but it’s a small price to pay to support a local business that has been an Eagle staple since 2013. The restaurant, located directly in the heart of the construction zone in front of the Old State Saloon, is a prime example of a business persevering through difficult times. Stepping inside, the aroma of slow-smoked barbecue instantly makes you forget the detours and road closures outside. We wanted to show our support and encourage others to do the same. If you're deciding where to eat this week or weekend, please make the effort to visit them. A little bit of effort on our part goes a long way in supporting the local businesses that make Eagle great.“

“Idaho pizza makes the best crust! We just ordered their 'two topping' special with mushrooms and chopped garlic - awesome combo and you could really enjoy the flavors of this pizza. Try them - this was the Eagle location!“

“I had a great feeling on walking into Rice as we walked past and admired the lovely flowers hanging in front of the outdoor patio. Inside, the ambiance is comfortable, and our servers were patient, flexible, and helpful with drink options and recommendations. The Thai iced tea was just what my partner needed. The fish tacos are a must, and amongst the best I've eaten. Our teen polished off the Pad See Ewe with steamed tofu. We went to town with the sushi menu: mixed poke salad, unagi and sake nigiri, a boat of many different sashimi, and the Surprise Roll. All solid!!
So much so, that we came back the next evening for dinner! And this time we tried the Double Deck, Crab Stuffed Salmon, Beef Short Ribs (pretty blue rice!), Massaman Short Ribs, and more Pad See Ew. Just as incredible as the previous day's lunch. Excited to try more of the menu next time!“

“I have to give Dylan credit amazing server in a lot of fun. We had some strange cheese appetizer that I would’ve literally thousand pieces of if I could get away with it. My main course was fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. I find myself eating a lot of the bread too. Lol please please please very great option for lunch. Affordable how are you my company? Enjoy the side salad with soup and I really had to tell you, you should order the nitro cold brew with cream if you need to wake yourself up. Again, compliments to the service, and the amazing layout of this restaurant I’ve been away from Boise for 15 years, in a very pleased to see some of the new additions as well as an eagle Cheers! “This review is for the Garden City location!! I have loved this place for a long time. But unfortunately tonight my Katsu was burnt to a crisp, fried rice was as dry as the Sahara. My kids plate was the same order and not any better. My partner's orange chicken was rubbery, like it had been out for a long time. Her Katsu was burnt as well. We have eaten there so many times but the last 2 times it's been absolutely terrible as well and I feel like it was a waste of money. We made macaroni and cheese because we had to throw it out. Next time, we will have to go to the Meridian location and see if our luck is better, but it's going to be a while before we do.“

“We came to The Griddle for the first time this morning. We like that you choose where to seat and then someone stops by to get our order. As we walked in several staff members greeted us either with a smile or a hello, we appreciated that. The food was delicious, very yummy and prepared promptly. The coffee was really good as well. Our server was super nice, attentive and personable. I think her name was Allison (I’m forgetful). She also gave us great suggestions regarding several breakfast choices when we asked her. So glad we had breakfast at The Griddle!“

“My husband and I just love eating at China Palace. Everything we have eaten there has been so delicious, and it is our favorite place to go for Chinese food, which is pretty often. Everyone has been super friendly and nice to us every time we’ve visited, even the chef came out one time and was talking with my husband. I highly recommend it, they have super yummy and delicious food there.😊“

“Eat here all the time. The food never gets old. It is so good from the ribs to the Brisket and the Tri tip. Love there sides. Mac and Cheese my favorite but the Baked beans and smashed potatoes are incredible as well. Love how you don’t have to sit for hours to get my food. I never have to wait. It’s prompt service. Price is reasonable considering the cost of meat and everything being made homemade. The tastes are signature. I used to live in Missouri and thought I had tasted some of the best barbecue but not until now. So good you will not regret it. The deserts are incredible as well. The Bread pudding sundae or a mixed berry cobbler. Yum They also added new stuff to the menu. The brisket tacos and their new hamburgers. Then to top it off they added Breakfast the Brisket Benedict my favorite but their waffles are light and fluffy. Definitely a five star all around. Can’t wait to go back.“
