“I’ve been to/ordered from Red Fort a lot, and always enjoyed it, but it’s those outlier experiences that get you to remember to write a review, for better or worse. Last night we celebrated my daughter’s birthday and we decided to DoorDash an order from them. This was a long distance order. We got the food, and as usual it was amazing. Absolutely stellar entrees. But something got mixed up in the kitchen and something sweet my kid ordered was seasoned savory, which just didn’t work. So I shot them an email, referencing my order number. I was expecting that they could double check to make sure no other orders had that issue, maybe give me a coupon for next time. No. A manager called me. Because of how far we are (30 minute drive), rather than reemploy DoorDash, he *personally* drove a fixed version of her item—plus extras—out to us. This was a smaller item, not her main food. We’d have been okay. But it made her birthday having the problem fixed. This is the best customer service I’ve received, and paired with the quality of the rest of the food and the fair prices, it pains me to say since they are a franchise, but Red Fort is quickly becoming my favorite Indian restaurant in the valley. Highly recommend.“

“It was really pretty good sushi. We ordered online and got it to go. Finding a parking spot was a little rough but it was worth it. I walked in and the bar tender asked my name and said he’d be right back. He returned with the order and I left. Literally less than two minutes!“

“We went to celebrate my grandmas 96th birthday and the only seating was at the bar. We almost left but decided to eat at the bar. Jayden was our server and she was AMAZING!! I mean AMAZING!! Food was excellent…have the Tempura green beans and then the Brutus Salad is excellent with chicken or salmon. The Atlantic salmon was grilled to perfection (medium with delicately medium seasoned saffron rice). Try the saffron infused Creme Brulet for dessert and enjoy live Jazz and after-dinner drinks at the Sidecar. However, make reservations if you want a table for dinner and after-dinner entertainment…take out available.“

“My family and I went to eat here on a Sunday evening for an early dinner. I highly recommend calling ahead to see if there is a wait. This seems to be a popular place. We went around 4-5pm. As the evening goes on, it becomes busier, and it was nice to enjoy the quieter setting before things pick up. Their wait staff are attentive and kind. They work hard and make sure you are taken care of without over bugging you! The style of the restaurant is unique and clever, including artwork with cows, aliens, and a mix of farmhouse. The misfit and retro style seems to work for them. When the weather permits, they have a roll-up door in the front half of the restaurant that gives you a nice breeze of fresh air. I love their atmosphere. I had their Pineapple Express burger and fries. I 10/10 recommended this burger (personally I take off the mustard aioli or have it on the side)! This burger has so much flavor between the burger, ham, pineapple, and I like it with the pickles. Perfect hidden gem for Nampa!“

“We go there every. single. weekend.- it's that good. Everyone is super friendly! The service is consistently exceptional, no matter if it's Rickie, Andi, Emerson, or Natalie. They are all fabulous! ( I'm forgetting the name of the gal who just got married, but she's great too!). We love everything from the waffles, chicken fried steak, biscuits & gravy, sausages, and country potatoes. They were literally the best beef ribs I've ever had and I've been all over the country hitting all the best bbq restaurants. If you're in Meridian and like bbq I highly recommend eating there. “Lucky Fins Seafood Grill ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently revisited Lucky Fins in Meridian. In the past, I’ve been to the original location, which is the one in Meridian, as well as the one in downtown Boise, which has since closed. There is also a location in Greeley, Colorado. We started with an appetizer of Kickin’ Shrimp ($15) - Crispy shrimp tossed in a sweet and spicy honey-chipotle sauce, served with a side of ranch and a lime wedge. Similar to Bonefish Grill’s Bang Bang Shrimp, but uniquely its own, this isn’t excellent appetizer! If you like spicy shrimp, it’s worth visiting for this dish alone. I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos ($15) - Tempura battered and fried Arctic cod with shredded cabbage, chipotle aïoli, pickled onions, cojita, and micro cilantro. Served with cilantro lime rice, lime wedges, and choice of salsa. The fish tacos were bland and flavorless. I didn’t realize until I started to write this review that they came with a choice of salsa, but I don’t think that would’ve made much of a difference. I liked the cilantro lime rice. MW ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon ($29) - Center cut, grilled Arctic salmon on Northwest Cedar plank, seasoned with Rocky Mountain meat and fish rub, loaded smashers, grilled asparagus, charred lemon. MW liked the salmon dish, but would opt for something a little more interesting next time. For dessert, we shared Bourbon Bread Pudding, which came topped with ice cream ($10). It was good. The ambience and service were excellent!“

“This review is for the Garden City location!! I have loved this place for a long time. But unfortunately tonight my Katsu was burnt to a crisp, fried rice was as dry as the Sahara. My kids plate was the same order and not any better. My partner's orange chicken was rubbery, like it had been out for a long time. Her Katsu was burnt as well. We have eaten there so many times but the last 2 times it's been absolutely terrible as well and I feel like it was a waste of money. We made macaroni and cheese because we had to throw it out. Next time, we will have to go to the Meridian location and see if our luck is better, but it's going to be a while before we do.“

“Navigating the Construction for a Bodacious Reward 🐷🐷🐷 Today, I had a lunch meeting at Bodacious Pig Barbecue, and we were determined to get there despite the construction on Old State Street. The road work is a bit of a mess, but it’s a small price to pay to support a local business that has been an Eagle staple since 2013. The restaurant, located directly in the heart of the construction zone in front of the Old State Saloon, is a prime example of a business persevering through difficult times. Stepping inside, the aroma of slow-smoked barbecue instantly makes you forget the detours and road closures outside. We wanted to show our support and encourage others to do the same. If you're deciding where to eat this week or weekend, please make the effort to visit them. A little bit of effort on our part goes a long way in supporting the local businesses that make Eagle great.“

Enjoy the side salad with soup and I really had to tell you, you should order the nitro cold brew with cream if you need to wake yourself up.
