A hidden treasure, excellent baked empanadas with a delicious and wide range of fillings. Nice wine and beer selection too. The atmosphere is relaxed and service excellent. Highly recommended and hope to see them prosper. Since the Kiwi shake and bake shut, I’ve felt a little lost.. hopefully we can watch rugby here too!
We were just driving by and saw the word EMPANADA, and decided to pop in for a snack. So glad we did! We each had a traditional, and it was delicious. My husband is up there ordering another kind for us to split.
We both appreciate that they're not deep fried. I mean, those are DELICIOUS, but as it turns out, they're amazing baked, too! We didn't even miss the fried-ness.

The best empanada experience I have ever had!
These are baked instead of fried, so the flavor really shines. The pastry crust is the most delicate, and flavorful I have ever had. The recipe is straight up, authentic, Argentinian. The crust is thin, crisp, and never heavy. This artisanal shell is a delight to bite into and the perfect complement to the treasure trove of flavor tucked inside.
