This review is for the Garden City location!! I have loved this place for a long time. But unfortunately tonight my Katsu was burnt to a crisp, fried rice was as dry as the Sahara. Food was very fresh and tasty. The portion was generous and there was a lot of chicken in my hot and spicy bowl. I was indeed happy after eating here so the name is accurate. Will definitely be coming back.
Tried it for the 1st time tonight and loved it. If you haven't tried the Yakisoba Chicken do it soon. I'll definitely be back.

Happy Teriyaki on Rivershore Ln in Eagle, ID is a popular spot for Asian food. Many customers say the food is a healthy alternative and the portions are great for the price. The orange chicken is a favorite; it is described as tender, sweet and citrus‑laden, and many people say it is excellent. Some also like teriyaki chicken and spicy teriyaki, although the spicy version can be a bit too hot for some. The vegetables are sometimes just warm lettuce, but the overall meal is still satisfying.
Service is quick and friendly. Staff are described as kind, sweet, and always ready to chat. One employee is praised for being amazing and caring, and the music played while dining adds to the atmosphere. Many diners note the place is well run and that they enjoy the friendly banter from the staff.
The restaurant has had some confusion about its status; a sign said the location closed and Google lists it temporarily closed. Despite this, many reviewers still recommend Happy Teriyaki, saying it is a “dog’s bollocks” of a teriyaki joint and that they would gladly return for the tasty orange chicken and other dishes.
