“I’ve been to/ordered from Red Fort a lot, and always enjoyed it, but it’s those outlier experiences that get you to remember to write a review, for better or worse. Last night we celebrated my daughter’s birthday and we decided to DoorDash an order from them. This was a long distance order. We got the food, and as usual it was amazing. Absolutely stellar entrees. But something got mixed up in the kitchen and something sweet my kid ordered was seasoned savory, which just didn’t work. So I shot them an email, referencing my order number. I was expecting that they could double check to make sure no other orders had that issue, maybe give me a coupon for next time. No. A manager called me. Because of how far we are (30 minute drive), rather than reemploy DoorDash, he *personally* drove a fixed version of her item—plus extras—out to us. This was a smaller item, not her main food. We’d have been okay. But it made her birthday having the problem fixed. This is the best customer service I’ve received, and paired with the quality of the rest of the food and the fair prices, it pains me to say since they are a franchise, but Red Fort is quickly becoming my favorite Indian restaurant in the valley. Highly recommend.“

“One of favorite places too dine. Sorry no pics. Never think of it until too late. I had the Pho with short ribs. First time ordering. I usually try something different each time. The short rib melted in your mouth. It is a fusion Asian establishment so aside from sounding contradictory, it isn’t what I would consider authentic Pho. If you don’t smell like pho for a day or two, than I consider it American friendly. 🤓. It was still delicious and fresh ingredients. My wife has her staple Kao Sao (so?). Very tasty. The fresh rolls were also extremely fresh. Toffey (sp?) our hostess was awesome. She spent time with us discussing the menu and the chefs talents which we know first hand. Emily, our waitress was attentive and prompt and provided excellent service. We have never had a bad meal or service here.“

“I was so lucky to get to try this place out during my visit to Boise. My uncle who’s lived in Japan is a complete sushi iceberg, and we go nowhere else. I had to have the Godzilla road now I had many other roles and my cousin, to the number of different items the service was incredible!!! “We enjoyed the small restaurant atmosphere where one can get to know the chefs (Mike, included). Food was excellent…have the Tempura green beans and then the Brutus Salad is excellent with chicken or salmon. The Atlantic salmon was grilled to perfection (medium with delicately medium seasoned saffron rice). Try the saffron infused Creme Brulet for dessert and enjoy live Jazz and after-dinner drinks at the Sidecar. However, make reservations if you want a table for dinner and after-dinner entertainment…take out available.“

“My family and I went to eat here on a Sunday evening for an early dinner. I highly recommend calling ahead to see if there is a wait. This seems to be a popular place. We went around 4-5pm. As the evening goes on, it becomes busier, and it was nice to enjoy the quieter setting before things pick up. Their wait staff are attentive and kind. They work hard and make sure you are taken care of without over bugging you! The style of the restaurant is unique and clever, including artwork with cows, aliens, and a mix of farmhouse. The misfit and retro style seems to work for them. When the weather permits, they have a roll-up door in the front half of the restaurant that gives you a nice breeze of fresh air. I love their atmosphere. I had their Pineapple Express burger and fries. I 10/10 recommended this burger (personally I take off the mustard aioli or have it on the side)! This burger has so much flavor between the burger, ham, pineapple, and I like it with the pickles. Perfect hidden gem for Nampa!“

“Lucky Fins Seafood Grill ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently revisited Lucky Fins in Meridian. In the past, I’ve been to the original location, which is the one in Meridian, as well as the one in downtown Boise, which has since closed. There is also a location in Greeley, Colorado. We started with an appetizer of Kickin’ Shrimp ($15) - Crispy shrimp tossed in a sweet and spicy honey-chipotle sauce, served with a side of ranch and a lime wedge. Similar to Bonefish Grill’s Bang Bang Shrimp, but uniquely its own, this isn’t excellent appetizer! If you like spicy shrimp, it’s worth visiting for this dish alone. I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos ($15) - Tempura battered and fried Arctic cod with shredded cabbage, chipotle aïoli, pickled onions, cojita, and micro cilantro. Served with cilantro lime rice, lime wedges, and choice of salsa. The fish tacos were bland and flavorless. I didn’t realize until I started to write this review that they came with a choice of salsa, but I don’t think that would’ve made much of a difference. I liked the cilantro lime rice. MW ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon ($29) - Center cut, grilled Arctic salmon on Northwest Cedar plank, seasoned with Rocky Mountain meat and fish rub, loaded smashers, grilled asparagus, charred lemon. MW liked the salmon dish, but would opt for something a little more interesting next time. For dessert, we shared Bourbon Bread Pudding, which came topped with ice cream ($10). It was good. The ambience and service were excellent!“

“We went in for lunch today I ordered chicken fried steak and eggs,my husband had a Ruben sandwich his came to him raw and my chicken fried steak was very greasy and the gravy was very runny, we have been there before and it was OK, but this time it was horrible we told the server how my husband's sandwich was raw and showed it to her she never tried to fix it for us to make it right or offer to take at least a percentage off our bill, we won't be going back...!“

The spicy beef garlic noodle were excellent, they had enough spice without being too hot. The Thai porkchop was excellent amd super tender. The Nashville hot sandwich was great. Only meal we had a problem with was the vodka penne, both the chicken and pasta was very salty. Our waiter was absent alot and we saw them standing talking to other staff.“

For YEARS we keep going here and are never disappointed. We moved away for 5 years and the biggest thing we missed was this restaurant. When we moved back it was the first place we went for dinner. “We go there every. single. weekend.- it's that good. Everyone is super friendly! The service is consistently exceptional, no matter if it's Rickie, Andi, Emerson, or Natalie. They are all fabulous! “This was a fun lunch experience, tried the burnt ends, which I am generally a sucker for. These were great, I liked the sauce (a traditional sweet tangy bbq) but I would probably get it on the side as I generally am more of a dry rub or light sauce guy. All that said, the burnt ends were great. The steak fries actually wrre great, I love steak fries as long as they aren't soggy and these were cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese was good, nothing special but also nothing wrong with it. My friend had the salmon on a salad that featured fruit etc, the name escapes me. He liked it, he said it may have needed more dressing, but it wasn't enough of an issue to make a request. We both noted the lemon being in a mesh, which was a nice touch for a casual restaurant.

We were with a large group and they assigned two servers to us, service was excellent and timely, even with probably 12 seperate checks.

I ordered a smoked old fashioned half sweet (as is my custom) it was actually quite good, their choice in ingredients made it a proper drink and it didn't feel phoned in like you get at a lot of barbecue and casual spots.

Definitely recommend.“

“The food here is always great and the service is friendly. Unfortunately, if you are a woman and use their bathroom, neither of the regular stalls lock (only the handicapped stall locks). “i love the food but we went in at 4:45 and they close at 5:00 on Sunday and everything was covered up and the slicer was in the back and the girl didn't crack a smile the whole time and slowly brought it out. She was mad we were there. I almost asked if we were bothering her. unbelievable.
