“Navigating the Construction for a Bodacious Reward 🐷🐷🐷 Today, I had a lunch meeting at Bodacious Pig Barbecue, and we were determined to get there despite the construction on Old State Street. The road work is a bit of a mess, but it’s a small price to pay to support a local business that has been an Eagle staple since 2013. The restaurant, located directly in the heart of the construction zone in front of the Old State Saloon, is a prime example of a business persevering through difficult times. Stepping inside, the aroma of slow-smoked barbecue instantly makes you forget the detours and road closures outside. We wanted to show our support and encourage others to do the same. If you're deciding where to eat this week or weekend, please make the effort to visit them. A little bit of effort on our part goes a long way in supporting the local businesses that make Eagle great.“

“Eat here all the time. The food never gets old. It is so good from the ribs to the Brisket and the Tri tip. Love there sides. Mac and Cheese my favorite but the Baked beans and smashed potatoes are incredible as well. Love how you don’t have to sit for hours to get my food. I never have to wait. It’s prompt service. Price is reasonable considering the cost of meat and everything being made homemade. The tastes are signature. I used to live in Missouri and thought I had tasted some of the best barbecue but not until now. So good you will not regret it. The deserts are incredible as well. The Bread pudding sundae or a mixed berry cobbler. Yum They also added new stuff to the menu. The brisket tacos and their new hamburgers. Then to top it off they added Breakfast the Brisket Benedict my favorite but their waffles are light and fluffy. Definitely a five star all around. Can’t wait to go back.“

“My son brought me in. He had to deliver stuff to their kitchen when they opened and was so impressed by the cleanliness that he remarked about it to me. He had eaten there and was also amazed by the food and service. I've had a few things to eat there. Burnt ends are my favorite...Melt in your mouth tender and perfect flavor. And the staff, even the folks who work in back will come out to get you what you need if the cashier has stepped away. It's a cheerful place, I'd just spend time in if I could for absolutlely no reason, but the food!!!!!“

“The food at this Goodwood was very good. I ordered the turkey dinner and the turkey was moist and tender! Everyone else in our party said the food was good and the meats on the family platter were moist as well. Our waiter was awesome!!!“

“This was a fun lunch experience, tried the burnt ends, which I am generally a sucker for. These were great, I liked the sauce (a traditional sweet tangy bbq) but I would probably get it on the side as I generally am more of a dry rub or light sauce guy. All that said, the burnt ends were great. The steak fries actually wrre great, I love steak fries as long as they aren't soggy and these were cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese was good, nothing special but also nothing wrong with it. My friend had the salmon on a salad that featured fruit etc, the name escapes me. He liked it, he said it may have needed more dressing, but it wasn't enough of an issue to make a request. We both noted the lemon being in a mesh, which was a nice touch for a casual restaurant.

We were with a large group and they assigned two servers to us, service was excellent and timely, even with probably 12 seperate checks.

I ordered a smoked old fashioned half sweet (as is my custom) it was actually quite good, their choice in ingredients made it a proper drink and it didn't feel phoned in like you get at a lot of barbecue and casual spots.

For YEARS we keep going here and are never disappointed. We moved away for 5 years and the biggest thing we missed was this restaurant. When we moved back it was the first place we went for dinner. “Colby was such a help! He gave excellent recommendations and explained the menu wonderfully!! He is such a dedicated cupbop employee!!! However, I noticed that the other two people on shift were just standing on their phones… not very professional☹ I originally went to one of them for help ordering but Colby came to help me instead! “Had the pleasure of enjoying the food from Big K BBQ when they catered breakfasts and dinners at a 4 day event I was at with 150 campers on a the Lazy R Ranch - an amazing remote ranch near Sweet Idaho. The variety was incredible, every meal was on time, there was alway plenty of food, they had options for everyone, and above all it was absolutely delicious. It was not an easy spot to get to - no running to the store for something you forgot or ran out of - and planning it must have taken was admirable. Thanks Big K people for all the fabulous meals! Highly recommend.“

“I love this Cupbop so much!!! I’ve been coming here for months now and it’s rare I’m ever disappointed with my meal. I always get a Koko Bop with a level 5 sauce plus the white sauce and it is perfection. Plus the workers are usually very nice and have good service!“

“We had a family dinner tonight celebrating 2 birthdays. It was very busy as usual but wanted to comment on our waitress Aliza. She was very attentive and gave great service even with a lot of large groups. This was especially deserving of recognition as she's is a new server. Thank you for taking care of us!“

“The food here is always great and the service is friendly. Unfortunately, if you are a woman and use their bathroom, neither of the regular stalls lock (only the handicapped stall locks). I spoke to the manager on 8-18-22 about the bathroom issue. He said he would have it fixed. Time will tell if he follows up on this. (The original review was a 3.)

Edited since original review: I now have to give this restaurant a 5 star review! We continue to go to the LongHorn. We LOVE the food and the people who work here are wonderful to us! Thank you to the manager who fixed the bathroom situation!!!!“

“Build your own stir fry restaurant. Pick out your own meats, vegetables and sauces and they stir fry it in front of you on a large flat grill. When you’re going down the line to fill your bowl, many of the best choices are at the end. So maybe browse what is available and then go down the line to fill your bowl. Prices are OK for what you get. There are 3 different sizes/ prices of bowls. The two old men at the grill were grumpy and not friendly or helpful and mumbling things in another language. The older couple that owns the place are nice. They helped seat us and refilled our waters and brought us our check and fortune cookies at the end. I feel like the restaurant could use a really good cleaning job and remodel but it was fine. Just older and run down place. I’ve gone there twice in the past year.“
