The owner and staff were so friendly. The food was on point and I left full and def coming back!
When we arrived at the restaurant we get told that they were about to close we came back to get service and another person seat us down without issues and the person who first told us they where about to close said she was leaving for the day and 5 minutes after we sit she sit another persons she was not happy with us been there.
One star- and that’s only because the food itself was beyond delicious.
ZERO STARS for service.
If I could go negative I would. Our reservation was for 6pm. Two out of the 8 of us were there at 5:50pm, two more at 6pm, the rest of arrived by 6:15pm. No one came to even take a drink order until close to 7pm. This was after one of the people in our party went to ask for service. Then two servers argued over whose table it was. Still had no service until after 7pm.

Amélies - Restaurant and Event Center is an under-discovered gem in Boise. The food is delicious and of very good value with large portions. The lava cake is a top result for best lava cake in Boise, and the clam chowder is another great item. Oysters are the best and largest, very fresh and a reasonable price. The shrimp app is hot and cooked perfectly, and the halibut and chips are the same. It is a great place to host events, with a beautiful location, great location, and plenty of parking. The interior event room is beautiful with detailed lighting and comfortable seating. The atmosphere is very nice and elegant. Service is great. You won't be disappointed.
