“Had the pleasure of enjoying the food from Big K BBQ when they catered breakfasts and dinners at a 4 day event I was at with 150 campers on a the Lazy R Ranch - an amazing remote ranch near Sweet Idaho. The variety was incredible, every meal was on time, there was alway plenty of food, they had options for everyone, and above all it was absolutely delicious. It was not an easy spot to get to - no running to the store for something you forgot or ran out of - and planning it must have taken was admirable. Thanks Big K people for all the fabulous meals! Highly recommend.“

“This restaurant has a great location in downtown Boise, right on the corner of 8th St. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was spacious and clean. I got the crunchy chicken and vegetable combination. I went with a medium spicy sauce. The crunchy chicken was good, but I have a feeling the Koko (K-BBQ chicken) would be a little better. I'll have to try the Beef BBQ as well. Portion was good for the price, and they got the food out very quick. So, if you need to eat in a hurry downtown, this is a good option. I'm definitely going to kick up the spice level next time, because I do like my food and life spicy.“

“Service is very good. The ambiance for a barbecue place is very nice. The food is decent, but certainly isn’t Texas or KC barbecue. We ordered burnt ends 3.5/5, Caesar salad 5/5, corn bread 3/5, turkey breast 4/5, mom’s potato salad 3.5/5, beans 4/5, baked potato 4/5, and berry cobbler 4.5/5. Nice they gave us the cobbler for my birthday.“

“Navigating the Construction for a Bodacious Reward 🐷🐷🐷 Today, I had a lunch meeting at Bodacious Pig Barbecue, and we were determined to get there despite the construction on Old State Street. The road work is a bit of a mess, but it’s a small price to pay to support a local business that has been an Eagle staple since 2013. The restaurant, located directly in the heart of the construction zone in front of the Old State Saloon, is a prime example of a business persevering through difficult times. Stepping inside, the aroma of slow-smoked barbecue instantly makes you forget the detours and road closures outside. We wanted to show our support and encourage others to do the same. If you're deciding where to eat this week or weekend, please make the effort to visit them. A little bit of effort on our part goes a long way in supporting the local businesses that make Eagle great.“

“This is a solid Mongolian BBQ place, with lots a good options and ingredients. The chefs were nice and the staff was attentive. I thought at first the prices were a bit high, but watching the other customers pile their bowls beyond capacity made me realize I was just putting in too little into my bowl, lol. I will come back here again when my kiddos have a hankering for noodles.“

“If I could give them 500 stars, I would! We went around to different Mongolian restaurants trying to find a really good one, and this one wins! For YEARS we keep going here and are never disappointed. We moved away for 5 years and the biggest thing we missed was this restaurant. When we moved back it was the first place we went for dinner. “Eat here all the time. The food never gets old. It is so good from the ribs to the Brisket and the Tri tip. Love there sides. Mac and Cheese my favorite but the Baked beans and smashed potatoes are incredible as well. Love how you don’t have to sit for hours to get my food. I never have to wait. It’s prompt service. Price is reasonable considering the cost of meat and everything being made homemade. The tastes are signature. I used to live in Missouri and thought I had tasted some of the best barbecue but not until now. So good you will not regret it. The deserts are incredible as well. The Bread pudding sundae or a mixed berry cobbler. Yum They also added new stuff to the menu. The brisket tacos and their new hamburgers. Then to top it off they added Breakfast the Brisket Benedict my favorite but their waffles are light and fluffy. Definitely a five star all around. Can’t wait to go back.“
