I LOVE this place!!! The food and drinks are so well thought out, and are quite obviously made from quality ingredients by hands who care about their craft. I especially recommend the dirty chai, frozen granita, and the creme brulee My breath still catches a little thinking about it, I'm nearly drooling in public as I write this. The staff there are warm, knowledgeable, and happy to help. Its quickly becoming my go-to on a lazy morning spot, or a deliciously unique dinner gem!

Came for coffee one morning while in town. Ordered a hot borgia which is coffee w chocolate and orange zest. It was amazing! Perfectly done! Not too sweet and just the right amount of 🍊. Also the goat cheese jalapeno scone was delicious.

If I hadn't randomly looked up bakeries in Boise, just for fun, my husband and I would never have found this wonderful place up in Garden City, not far from downtown.
A bakery AND pizzeria AND, apparently, an Anesso (Italian sandwiches) shop. How lucky can we get???
Bonus: the staff is just as amazing as the food.
Dine indoors or just sit out back at the picnic tables with your dog. They'll even bring him/her a bowl of cold water with ice cubes in the summer and love on him/her with pets.
We were only able to try a few slices of the pepperoni pizza for the Happy Hour (3-6 p.m.) — better than 90 percent of the pizza we've had from here to Seattle, fyi — but we'll be back for more, like the artisanal pizzas, the baked goods (get here before 2 p.m. for the best selection), and maybe an Anesso or two.

Highest recommendation for any meal! Amazing coffee, fantastic pastries, fresh and satisfying salads, and really great pizza. They have happy hour deals too. We’ve had excellent service on our many visits to Black Moon. The chocolate chip cookies are our favorite, and the ice cream sandwich with those cookies is somehow one of the best desserts in Boise. It’s shockingly delicious.

Blackmoon is a great local pizzeria and bakery. I love the relaxed atmosphere and great food. The Sasquach is sweet and savory, loaded with deeply caramelized onions and cheese on a crispy, charred crust. I don't eat many desserts but am a suckered for brioche. Their custard filled brioche with ganache topping is the bomb!! You should try it!😊
