Had an amazing time teaching a paint class here. The staff was wonderful, the wine was amazing and the venue is gorgeous!

Did not feel comfortable here wine tasting. The lady felt pre occupied and was not personable. The wines were not the kinds we like so maybe it’s taste.

Such a fun winery down in Garden City! Huge space - plenty of comfy indoor and outdoor seating. Huge variety on the wine list: bubbles, whites and reds (from light to bold) - they have something for everyone. I love how they are making wine fun and approachable for everyone. They source grapes from Idaho and a few other places. They are doing a lot of fun things on the production side from traditional oak barrels to clay amphora to sandstone and concrete. Highly recommend stopping here for a tasting or a drink or buying a couple bottles or cases ? they also have wine in cans for enjoying outside ??‍♀️??️

Best Winery in Idaho, I have over 300 bottles from over 100 different wineries in my collection of wine in my celler, and Split rail is so far hands down my favorite. Hints the reason I have spent over $1500 here in the last 6 months. Love this place and the employees are the absolute best.

Tried split rail for the first time tonight with a big group. All I can say is wow. The staff was such a great bunch. Shout out to Amy and Boston. The wine was top notch and really impressed me. Went home with a bottle of da funk, gamay and the gsm. Thank you again split rail and team. 10/10- can’t wait to come back. Cheers!

Went in for the first time last night. This is definitely gonna be a hangout lol. Staff was awesome, they had a really great merlot and the cheese tray was a small meal.

While the wine was enjoyable (we did the sparkling flight- it’s funky in a good way), and I liked the atmosphere, lackluster service holds Split Rail’s tasting room back from its potential.

Ooooof. This experience was rough. Went tasting on Saturday when they opened (there was 2 people in there when our party of 6 arrived). We did the taster for $20/person. The service was atrocious. Sat waiting for second tasting for 20 minutes, where I had to ask them if we were responsible for telling if we were finished (I have no idea how this kind of tasting works) and the girl working there gave me eye roll with attitude. Our server then switched to someone else who was also rude. For example, my grandma is hard of hearing and asked where they sourced the grapes from. The waiter replied with the most condescending "Like I said before." I looked at my sister with wide eyes surprised by the amount of attitude towards an 83 year old grandma. I've been in the restaurant industry for many years and have had my bad days, but I wouldn't treat customers like they did us. I would not recommend going here.

We had an okay experience. There were only two people working so we had mid expectations. The wine was good but the communication and the frequency in which we received service was lacking. We had no idea what the "guided flight" process was or that our server was off work in the middle of our "guided process" so the other person finished our last couple wines. The first one was well guided and explained but the second was introduced but not explained, they compensated with an extra pour because I'm sure running the place alone was a lot but we felt overall not super satisfied with the experience.... We hope to come back and redeem the experience sometime. Good wines though, don't get me wrong.
