I was in the mood for some quesabirria today so I stopped into Taqueria Las Brazas today. Walked in and nobody was really up front. It did take a minute for someone to come out. When someone did, i was greeted with the most beautiful smile and hello! I appreciate how genuine she was greeting me. I had a couple questions about the menu. She answered them, got my goodies ordered and went on my way to find a table.

I must have just missed the rush cause a majority of the tables were dirty. Dirty with food, cups and plates. I found a smaller table and just hung out till my food was ready.

For lunch I ordered a carne asada taco, shredded beef taco and a quesabirria taco. At first look these babies were stacked! There was so much meat in eat taco. They were not lacking for sure! I grabbed some fresh lime and green salsa from the sauce bar. I started off with the quesabirria taco. It was hearty with birria meat. It was tender and flavorful! The carne asada taco was topped with fresh onion and cilantro. The meat was savory and abundant! I didn't get a chance to try the shredded beef taco just yet, I was too full. I did enjoy the flavors of the meat but the carne asada was on the dryer side. Adding lime and salsa did help but it was hard to chew. The quesabirria taco shell a a little too soft for me. I would have like a crispier texture to the corn tortilla. It also lacked cheese. There was no cheese pull what so ever. I'm happy that they sell single quesabirria tacos. It was nice to try it out at this joint.

My first impression of this place wasn't the best considering the place was dirty. The food was decent but you get a lot of bang for your buck which is nice in today's economy. But I will give credit to the great customer service is was given!

This is a decent little Mexican restaurant. The place was clean and the people at the counter were friendly and informative. I had the Birria Tacos which were good. The meat was tasty and the Birria was good.

Overall, this is a decent place that I would visit again.

Worst pozole ever had. Asked for no bones, no fat. The plate u see is just that. Asked for more meat. If I'm paying $20.00 for soup it needs to be filling. Not only that, pozole meat shouldn't require a fork and a knife to eat. Very sad day....

Their food is AWESOME and below the price point for their food and quick service. We enjoy going there or for take home. Please come to a family owned and operated as that means the money turns over 7 times within our community. 3988 w Chinden in garden city is the place.

I got cabacho'd with a burrito full of rice and onions. Pretty rough for 13 dollars. You'll want to be fluent in Spanish to hear what they yell to the back after you pay.

I had an el pastor burrito. It was mostly rice with almost no el pastor. And dry. I would not recommend getting a burrito here. That said, almost everyone in the place was Latino. So they must be doing a lot that is authentic. Don't get a burrito. Do get tacos or pozole, they looked great.

Excellent food, super kind staff, and their taco happy hour (from 2pm-5pm weekdays) is top notch! Most of their street tacos are 99 cents during happy hour.

It was our first time. The front of the house person was so friendly and welcoming. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We were all very impressed. The shrimp fajitas were delicious.
