Personally was excited to try this place. I had to make a reservation for 2 and expected good service. Upon seating us, we were greeted by the owner who was nice and he explained the specials. We had never been here before. When we were asked by his wife what wine we wanted, we were not greeted with any details or options based on preference, just this one that was recommended when we said we both like reds that aren’t too dry. So we agreed and assumed it would end there. 3 minutes later our order was taken. Then 5 minutes later bread was tossed onto our table. 3 minutes later our “fresh to order, made from scratch, authentic Italian” pasta was delivered to our table. These pasta dishes were served at a barely warm level for being freshly sautéed or even plated. Mind you these are $25 a piece dishes with minimal ingredients. I proceeded to eat mine because I paid $25 for a vegetarian fettuccine and my partner decided to stop eating hers without finishing because it did not taste very good. We’re both service industry people and don’t complain, just pay and go. But while we’re discussing our experience as soon as she stopped eating, we were rushed to pay our check when the restaurant wasn’t busy. This is minute 20 into the dinner we reserved. 10 minutes later I gave her payment after she asked for it twice (mind you, while me and my partner were trying to just enjoy a nice date night together and have a conversation after eating). I walked out and 30 seconds later the owners wife chased after me to aggressively approach me about not tipping accordingly. I told her the experience was unenjoyable and the food wasn’t good. If the owners are representatives for their tipped employees, they should provide good service and food so they assure their likely underpaid staff is compensated. I do not feel bad about the amount of tip I left nor a bad review after my exchange with one of the owners and I will gladly choose an alternative establishment, especially when the owners wife told my partner and I to never come back for the amount that we tipped. I could’ve gotten better food and better CUSTOMER service at Olive Garden. That speaks volumes for me for a place that is supposed to be a neighborhood and local establishment.

Some of the best Italian food outside of Italy--- Served promptly and in good spirit--- We were there early and enjoyed the quiet with only one other table occupied. As the room filled with people, the noise level increased and the service necessarily lacked some of the attention when there were so few of us. We shall return for the food!

We were pleasantly surprised by Vincenzo Trattoria! We brought our son here for an early birthday celebration and the owner, Vincenzo, made sure his staff created an extra special experience. The food was fantastic and tasted super authentic. The Spaghetti Vincenzo and Lasagna Bolognese were both to die for! We would definitely recommend this quaint little spot to anyone looking for authentic, delicious Italian food. We will be back to visit soon!

Most bizarre dining experience I've ever encountered. Owners were rude, especially the wife. Food was not good and way overpriced, especially for what you get. They call themselves authentic Italian, really they're just different from, say, Olive Garden. Waste of money, horrible owner, will never go back.

The food was good but a bit pricey --- but you'll see why it is a bit more expensive than other italian restos. Also, the owner comes to the table to check on you, explains the menu, and gives explanation on why things are done in such ways. He also gave us tips on what to do with the take oit we had ?

We went here for my mother's birthday. She loves Italian, I was excited to try this place based on so many good reviews. There were 5 of us and we all thought our meal were just not very good. The sauces on the pasta just taste like tomato sauce on noodles. There was no flavor or seasoning just bland food. The water guy was grumpy and refused to give extra parmesan cheese on certain dishes when asked saying there was enough cheese already. I had the fish special and it was just a small piece of fish with a dollop of cooked spinach. Very sad. I left hungry. I would avoid this place.
