Some of the best food in the Coeur d Alene area. Owners are super nice. Birria and lamb tacos are off the charts delicious. Friendly staff. We love it so much we had them cater our wedding!

I travel the world…what’s important to me when visiting a restaurant is first and foremost that the event qualifies as an experience not just “eating out.” Secondary to that is food quality. Understand. Bad food can not qualify as a positive experience! Our visit to Justin’s restaurant was both a great experience and we enjoyed a fabulous meal. Justin was manning the counter where we ordered our food. He completely explained the food and even brought out samples before we ordered… you just gotta go here!

This place is a tucked away haven of delight! Tacos were bursting with flavor and I could tell the ingredients were fresh, thoughtfully chosen with the art of intention. I love a restaurant that makes food an adventure for your palate. The man that took our order had an impressionable finesse and I so appreciated his honest flare for advice on selecting tacos. I had the Maiitake Mushroom and Lamb Merguez: Delicious! That mushroom taco had my heart at first sight. Yes, five stars easily.

First time in. Staff were super friendly and had good recommendations. Food was good. Fresh and elevated taste. Portions were small however for the price. Small bowl of rice and beans accompanied the meal, very tasty I might add. Tacos were also small. My kids got the kids nachos and it was simply chips with melted cheese and protein. They were expecting nacho cheese sauce and were disappointed. Birria was the highlight. Got tots and tacos with birria and the consume was superb. Probably would come back to try again but would make it a date night.

Really unique food combinations. Portions are very small for the price- small tacos paired with small bowl of rice and beans. Would not recommend The kids nachos- they could be slightly elevated with queso and meat. Pretty weak with just some shredded cheese and dry chicken slapped on some nachos.

We made a last minute decision to try Cochinito Taqueria and it did NOT disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was fun (and the bathrooms were clean). The food was absolutely delicious!! Thank you for a great meal and I can’t wait to try the margaritas!

Ate here tonight, I’m super picky on my tacos and don’t branch out much for basic meat and cheese. The owner who greeted me opened my eyes to their absolutely delicious food! I work in Hayden and Seattle. I’ll be coming here every time I’m in town.
