We just stopped in here to try out happy hour. Just so you know this restaurant doesn't have table service so you have to order at counter like a fast food restaurant ? Worst margarita i've ever had so sour?. What a joke happy hour only $1 off items. I'll never go back to a mexican restaurant that they don't even include chips and salsa. Oh, I'm sorry this isn't the Mexican restaurant it's a taqueria. This is a decent restaurant for takeout at best and food was flavorful.

Cochinito was a great experience. The staff was amazing and welcoming to our large family, prepping a table large enough to fit all 8 of us gladly. Love the environment here, from the restaurant-length mural, to the comfortable seating and spacing between diners. The food was creative and colorful, with unusual options on the menu giving a unique experience vs. what we typically prep at home. Loved it, recommended for a date night or the whole family.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming to kids, with kid specific menu options that provide plenty of food for their appetites

Awesome Mexican food with a TWIST... I had a Bloody Mary and the Chilaquiles and she had a Margarita and Chicken with churros... We both THOROUGHLY enjoyed both the food and the drinks! Definitely not run-of-the-mill!

We knew this place would be dynamite just based on the number of other customers who stopped to give suggestions on what to get and stayed around to chat. The food is not like what you’re thinking when you think “tacos,” and in the best way possible. The flavors are so bright and unique! We can’t wait to visit again, I’ve been craving the sikil pak (pumpkin seed dip) for months!

Cochinito's is quite the treasure for us here in Hayden! Amazing food, outstanding tequila options and friendly staff. If you have the opportunity to stop by and have a meal here do not pass it up! Great atmosphere, with the opportunity to stand at the counter/bar and order then be served at your table. REAL tacos with quality beverages. The staff is more than willing to give you their insight so ask. Not many places you can quickly get a taco and a Don JulioReposado Margarita. All these extras means you are not paying taco bell prices, but trust me it's worth it!

To say that I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was another Cochinto location would be an understatement. We fell in love with the original downtown building and have been many times but we would love to go more often if the downtown parking and crowds didn't seem like such an inconvenience most of the time. Finding out there was another Cochinoto option while we were in the Hayden area was literally the highlight of our week.The food was just as delicious, it was much less crowded, the building seemed to be more roomy and to have more seating. The owner was there and was very nice, chatted with us for a bit. I think we will be frequenting this location often. One of our absolute FAVE food places in this WA/ID area.Kid-friendliness: It's not too quiet and they play music so you don't have to worry about your kids being too noisy. You order at the counter so no waiting for the waitress to take your order. It doesn't take forever to get your food, we had ours within 10 minutes; although it wasn't very busy. Very bright, colorful walls, fun environment.

Everything is made with love, everyone working there takes pride in the restaurant, amazing homemade margarita that doesn't knock you out with sweetness, very clean even in the bathrooms. They custom made us some nachos, which aren't on the menu...to die for. These chips...thick, awesome crunch and flavor...they're homemade. The flavors- cheese, corn, meat, jalapeños, etc...layered to perfection. I died and went to heaven. Me and my husband could only talk about how good the food was the whole time. Homemade salsa and guacamole. This was the best nacho I've ever had. The playlist was nostalgic. We had a great time here and got to eat some amazing food. It's not every day you stumble upon a restaurant by chance, and it turns out to be this delightful.
