Service was bad. Bar was wide open, they said they would seat us there, and we continued standing staring at the open bar waiting for them to seat us. There was no perceived reason they couldn’t seat us right away. When they finally sat us, nobody came to check on us at all. No waters brought out, no greeting from a server. Nothing. After staring at the menu for some time (which was confusing: the pictures didn’t match the menu items described), we decided to just leave.

Teppanyaki has been one of my favorite meals to enjoy with friends and/or family. Fuki did not disappoint. Im visiting my dad for his 65th and found that at 65, my father had never been to teppanyaki.
The food was prepared perfectly and the chef was friendly and entertaining. He even gave us an extra fire show since there were a few firt timers at our table.
The only reason I give 4/5 on the food Is the yum yum sauce isn't the traditional 2nd sauce for teppanyaki and they had onion soup instead of miso. Also If I wanted soup and salad it was extra. When I'm dropping well over $75+/person, I don't think the $1 it costs the restaurant for a tiny salad or soup should be extra.
That all being said, I will return. It was a great night and the food was excellent! I had steak and scallops. Both were fresh and prepared perfectly.

Found ants (alive) on my plate when I ordered sushi and plastic in my wife’s sushi roll! Brought it to the managers attention and she tried to sweep it under the rug and play it like it wasn’t a big deal. Very unprofessional and disgusting.

Options were limited for gluten free but the waitress knew the menu inside and out. She said the baked sushi rolls have a gluten containing sauce so to avoid those. They do have gluten free soy sauce.

We really enjoyed lunch at this location. The bento was just the right size and a reasonable price. They have booths, tables, private dining areas, and the grills for the performance style Japanese grilling. We skipped that and had a delicious and affordable lunch instead. People were already arriving before they opened. There was plenty of room for us, but plan accordingly if you have a large family or a group. Recommend going as early in the day as possible near opening time.
