We love our friends at Sonora! Great food, wonderful service and fresh chips and salsa that are so tasty, you’ll want to take some home. It’s our very favorite Mexican restaurant.
amazing food, great atmosphere
We travel A LOT and this is one of the best restaurants we've been to when it comes to service and food. The owner and staff are extremely kind, the portions are more than filling, and the restaurant is very clean. I will definitely be stopping here every time I'm going the Horseshoe Bend.

Sonora Restaurant in Horseshoe Bend is a charming spot known for its quick service and authentic Mexican flavors. Regulars are warmly welcomed by name, and the owner, Olivia, ensures that every customer has a great experience. While some dishes like the Camarones a la Momia may be hit or miss, the gluten-free menu and accommodating nature of the restaurant make it a standout choice for those with dietary restrictions.
The restaurant is celebrated for its delicious offerings, particularly the shrimp tacos, which many describe as a fiesta in their mouths. The homemade tortillas are soft and flavorful, and the shrimp is perfectly cooked and lightly sauced, topped with a slice of avocado that adds to the overall delight. The atmosphere feels homey, reminiscent of family meals, making diners feel right at home.
With exceptional service and a menu that reflects genuine Mexican cuisine, Sonora Restaurant has become a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike. The combination of quality food, friendly service, and a welcoming vibe makes it a must-visit spot in the area.
