This place is so delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly. My sandwich and soup were both fantastic. They didn't have my initial choice of sandwich, so they offered me a replacement (of course) and even comped my meal because they felt bad about the situation. That was totally unnecessary but very-much appreciated. Taylor was a fantastic server, very friendly, familiar with the menu, kept our drinks full and provided service with a smile. They're lucky to have her. I'll certainly be back!

A Street Soup is excellent. Their daily soup offerings never disappoint, and their sandwiches are on point. Top it off with an in house brewed root beer and you have the recipe for a wonderful lunch.

In past experiences having lunch have been nice and enjoyable. Today my experience was much different. A couple of friends and I chose to gather for a quiet lunch and a time to catch up. We arrived early on in the lunch hour and were served and promptly given our bill. The 3 of us visited and the lunch hour picked up. I made eye contact with Brad and he promptly proceeded to our table and asked us to leave. He told us that there were guests waiting to be seated, although there were a couple of tables open for seating. We did gather ourselves and as we were leaving Brad told us that if we wanted to continue our conversation we could stroll up the street and visit the Villa or visit in the front of the restaurant. From previous visits the cost increase is quite substantial and the food quality has diminished. I could have overlooked this, but the service rendered was uncalled for. I have and will continue to share this information. There are many more establishments that I will frequent.

I have always enjoyed this place along with their food and service. Until today!!! Was in for lunch with a friend. Lunch time is Usually slammed, but today very quiet. My friend and I had not visited for a while and since the restaurant was not busy decided to visit for a little longer. The servers section we sat in had 2 empty tables the whole time we were there. I kept a vigilant eye on the empty tables as to be sure and leave if they were filled so server could again fill our table. After about 20 minutes server (Brad) came over and asked us to leave (we were taking away one of his tables from use) even though he had 2 empty tables sitting there waiting to be filled. How rude!!! Of course, when he approached the table he immediately snapped up the receipt with his tip and then told us we had to leave! Good thing, I would have snapped up his tip and left otherwise. A 25% tip was left because we were going to stay longer. Well that greedy Brad as well as the business will no longer be getting a penny more from me. They are plenty more good fish (restaurants) in the sea in Idaho Falls!!!

The food here was good but I thought the portion sizes were quite small for the price and because of that I was disappointed. I ordered it to go and I'm not sure if they just don't put as much effort into those orders but I don't know how quickly I will be trying here again.

Soup is fresh and amazing. I love the grilled ham and cheese on jalapeno cheese bread. My only complaint is the portions of soup could be bigger.

Items: French Dip sandwich with Zippy Potato soup and Turkey and Brie sandwich with coconut curry soup.Overall Score: 7.5Value: 2Taste: 9Service: 9Atmosphere: 7We enjoyed our visit to A street soup kitchen and the food was delicious. The down side was the price. After tip our bill was about $45 with each sandwich being about $15 and $17. I feel $10-13 would be a more reasonable price range. Great harvest has similar items for a much lower price. That being said, I loved all the soups I tried and the French dip was wonderful. The Zippy potato had a deliciously unique flavor with a little spice. Would love to visit again but the price will keep me away. Plus kids menu items are $8 which is high.

As good as this place is, I cannot believe this is my first visit here. The soup and sandwiches are out of this world!

Had the avocado toast with shrimp and mushroom soup. Avocado toast was great, but the soup really made it worth it. Finding parking was difficult, but I am glad we went.Parking: Busy street, hard to find parking
