“We had dinner for the first time here last night. It was amazing! Jeff had “the best crab legs” he’s ever had and my steak was absolutely perfect. We were surprised when we showed up and it looked like an older home outside, but as soon as we walked in, we were more surprised! The charm and coziness that was inside plus the jazz type music playing in the background was perfect. They were apparently short staffed last night, but I would have never guess. They were so prompt, attentive, and made sure our dinner was nothing short of perfect. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommending D’railed to others.”

“Everything we had was amazing! My husband loved the prawns to start, I had the chicken pesto pasta, we shared Alaskan King crab and it was outstanding. His steak was great as well.
I think our server’s name was Clark? He was very on top of things.
We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the river. The only thing I might suggest would be some ambient music for those seated outside!
If you come here, be sure to get the mud pie for dessert! It blew my mind!

“Crew was very fast and curious. Our food came out fast and tasted great. The only problem we had was that our drinks were flat. They brought new ones but they were the same. I changed to a strawberry lemon that was exactly what I should have ordered from the start. Noise level was a little high for a casual conversation, but it was definitely a great place to eat.”

“I haven't ever been to this outback steakhouse and was kind of hesitant because of the reviews online but I actually had a very good dinner and service. The food was hot and tasty I enjoyed my sirloin steak and coconut shrimp was yummy! My daughters Mac and cheese was very yummy she ate it all and my boyfriends steak was done perfectly (medium rare) and he said his mashed potatoes were okay he added some salt on the table and the bloomin onion was a good appetizer and we got our rye bread. The waitress was super nice and helpful! I would say give this restaurant a try the waitress said they have been working on their service and on the food and was super delighted to hear we had good food so I just want to acknowledge that it was a very good dinner and one of the best steaks I've ever ordered.”

Exceptional service. And I am so glad I didn't leave. The food is amazing! Every bit of it was exceptional. I got chicken samosas (so light and flaky and full of flavor), the goat Korma Masala (just perfect, a touch of heat, and just pure comfort food), the garlic Naan (light, soft, honestly the best I've had) and the dessert I can't pronounce or spell, the little dough balls in a honey syrup (amazing). I am so glad I stopped while traveling through town.”

“We just had the best Easter dinner desserts that were recommended by Julie to a family member. We ordered the lemon pie and the 5 pound carrot cake. Both were over the moon delicious. And the price was more than fair. Hands down, the best carrot cake I've ever eaten! While other bakeries seem to be on the downhill slide, yours is knocking it out of the park! Your meals are always delicious. I highly recommend the North Hi-Way Cafe and Catering.”

“The food is so good, I asked if they could cook for a retirement party! The owners helped me refine my order for the number of attendees and had it all ready to go the day of the event. I ordered two trays of meat, a tray each of rice and beans, tortillas and salsas. We fed 35+ people and sent folks home with leftovers. Everyone raved and said they’d be visiting CalaKas on their own! Thank you guys so much for making this party easy and memorable!!!”

Their food is ? from Michoacan, and although there are many other good alternatives in Idaho Falls, these guys have 30 years consistently making delicious food daily. Top favorite are the weekend Menudo and Carnitas, mulitas, tacos, and don't forget the flan!
The downside, the line to order, usually wraps around the building an 1hr before opening, the space is small and eat-in is very limited.”

“Very disappointed ☹️. I ordered a venti shaken espresso. When it was handed to me. It was only approximately 2/3 of the way full. When I questioned the server. She told me that is how it comes out and the foam at the top was filling up the space. I told her it's always been full when I've ordered it many times before. She could fix it by adding more ice or milk. I asked for coffee to fill. That wasn't one of the choices she gave me. So, she filled it with ice and more milk. Then I asked for a straw and she argued with me that it was a sippy cup and you don't need a straw. I was amazed at the horrible service I was given. Honestly it appeared that they made a grande size shaken espresso by mistake and put it in a venti size cup with some extra ice. Very disappointed! Whoever that was that waited on me at the drive- thru Wednesday July 10 around 10 am, needs to find another job. I'm very irritated that I spend $5+ on a drink and I don't actually get what was ordered.”

“I'm not a coffee drinker so I'm not the best person to review Starbucks. I love their pastries and cocoa. The service is usually pretty good and they have wi-fi, which is nice. I've heard mixed reviews on their coffee. Some friends say it's the best, some say it's no better than McDonald's. I love the atmosphere.”

“Starbucks is overrated, but I love their cheese Danish. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I had an amazing guy who would make me salted caramel hot chocolate exactly how I like it! Since he left, I switched to Dutch Brothers. I prefer their salted caramel hot chocolate. The thing I love about Starbucks the most though is that they pay for their employees college education. Kudos for that!!!

Vegetarian options: You can get almond milk, or soy milk. Not sure if they have oat milk.

Parking: They don't have a lot of parking but most use the drive through anyway.

Dietary restrictions: I'm lactose intolerant, so I use almond milk there but they do have other options.”

Delicious, affordable, and the staff is so nice and friendly. We were visiting from out of town and knew we had to make a stop here. The lady who helped us was so nice! “Our server Tony, at Black Bear Diner was so cool. He had a good rapport with everyone there. He was bantering with the cooks in the kitchen and friendly with the customers. He was laughing and jovial the whole time that we were there. He squatted down to our level while taking our order, and shared with me, his favorite way to eat what I was ordering (he likes to add a sausage patty and sop up his over-medium eggs with the sourdough bread). When he delivered our food, he said to my 67 year old husband, "There you go young man!" You could just tell he was a happy person with a positive attitude and happy to be serving his customers. Also, he asked if it was “ok if he refilled” my half empty water cup, rather than just assuming and automatically filling it; I appreciated that he let me make that choice, it shows good manners. He’s probably the best waiter I've ever encountered! Thank you Tony! Also I really enjoyed my meal. I ordered The Breakfast Club. I replaced the bacon in the sandwich with sausage, and I replaced the side of potatoes with fruit. I was very happy with that, and I love when strawberries are included in a fruit dish! The sandwich was delicious! My husband ordered creamy grits instead of potatoes with his meal, and he thought in honor of Halloween they should call them “Screamy Grits”! Haha.”

“My brother and his family enjoy coming to this restaurant for the immersive experience it can be. You collect all the food items you want in your bowl yourself, choosing from bowl sizes of small, medium, or large, and then take your bowl to be cooked right in front of you. It’s fun to watch. The food tasted fresh and uniquely flavored to your palette. The cooks will ask if you would like teriyaki sauce and hot sauce added to your bowl of ingredients while cooking it. I definitely recommend saying “Yes!” Great food that will leave filled at a good price.

Parking: The restaurant is located in a strip mall that has shared parking between all the stores. Plenty of parking at any time.”
