Ive liked here in IF for a few years now & ive tried a lot of different places for Mexican food.
This is the best I’ve had here in town.

We were passing through, very excited to try authentic Mexican and support local restaurants - we tried the carne asada street tacos and the carne asada enchiladas with rice and beans, we were very disappointed. They served us very dry, chewy and crunchy ( not in a good way crunchy, carne asada). It was clear they gave us meat that was not fresh- at all. It was so bad it should have been obvious.
Best meats!! Food is good also in the back!

Garcia’s Meat Market y Cocina | Mexican is located in the back of the store. The food is delicious. Customers enjoyed the quesabirria tacos & carna asada taco, which had a generous amount of meat. Prices seemed fair. This is the best Mexican store in town, with fresh meat to grill at home and good stuff you can't find any where else. The staff is friendly. Guests can get a nice meal & then shop around in the market. The restaurant also blessed Idaho Falls Rescue Mission guests with an incredible taco donation, providing help, hope, and a future.
