We chose Alturas Preparatory Academy for its strong academics and focus on personal growth. The smaller class sizes and dedicated teachers have helped our child gain confidence and excel. We also appreciate the emphasis on learning Spanish as a second language, which has broadened their cultural awareness. The school’s focus on leadership and international character development has made a positive impact.
Alturas Preparatory Academy has been a fantastic choice for my daughter! She is working towards her Associate of Science. She started taking dual credits the summer before her sophomore year. This has allowed her to have a very light high school schedule this year and no high school classes next year (senior year). Our son went to what was regarded as the town’s top Montessori and then a public school and we had mixed experiences with both schools. I was ready to move our family out of Idaho altogether to find better schools in a different state but he had just gotten accepted into Alturas.
