“Passing through on our way back to Montana. Found this gem in Idaho Falls! GREAT burgers, fries and the A and J of the place are so friendly! We wish we could have stayed for the music. Great place and what a passion they have for it all!“

“We stopped here before the Coheed and Cambria concert and it was the best decision we could’ve made. Best patty melt I’ve ever had! Fries were phenomenal as well, perfectly seasoned and crispy. The bartender was so nice and the service was speedy. Cold beer, good food and great music. Couldn’t ask for more! If you’re in town, check this spot out.

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had at a bar in a long time. The atmosphere at The Blue Wave was perfect—relaxed but lively, with just the right vibe for a great night out. But what truly made the evening unforgettable were Murphy and Karen.

Murphy was behind the bar, and he was an absolute pro—friendly, fast, and knew exactly what to recommend. His cocktails were perfectly balanced and full of flavor. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed what he was doing, which made the whole experience that much better.

Meanwhile, Karen was in the kitchen absolutely crushing it. Every dish that came out was delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s rare to find a bar where the drinks and the food are equally amazing, but Karen and Murphy make it happen.

If you’re anywhere near The Blue Wave, do yourself a favor and stop in. And if Murphy’s bartending and Karen’s cooking—you’re in for a great night!“

“My last day visiting friends in Idaho they graciously took me to this local spot. I asked for recommendations and they (my friends) suggested trying gator chips with anything I ordered. I opted for a pepper jack grilled cheese sandwich and gator chips. Both the chips (thick kettle style potato chips) and the sandwich were delicious. I asked for a side of ranch to go with the chips and that made it superb. ??
A nice last stop before flying home from my wonderful trip to Idaho. ☺“
