BlackRock Fine Wine and Craft Beer

I would rate negative stars if I could. Went here for the first time to brunch with a friend, but we left after 5 minutes. Never had a bartender make me feel that uncomfy in my life. We are a couple of 24 year old gals dressed pretty nice. No idea why but we were not served and definitely not welcome AT ALL. Went next door to pie hole instead and had a great time.

Walked in and immediately felt a bad energy. People were staring at me and my friend and it felt very hostile. Guy at the bar just stared at us with his arms crossed. Came in for the salmon pizza and left after a few minutes because of all the staring and no service. Not sure what we did wrong, literally did nothing. Seems like a regulars only place.

Boy, I wasn’t expecting to get so much negative attitude from whoever was working this establishment.

The door was open, chairs were all pulled out as though cleaning was in process, and I was not acknowledged by the only employee in sight.

I thought it natural to ask, with a smile, if they’re open: I was retorted with a scoff, a shrug, and a “uh, yeah… the sign’s on.”

…‘nough said.

DJ trivia on Tuesday and Thursday is great fun! Wine tastings on Wednesday, frequent live music and mimosa's on Sunday. Great place to enjoy, they have a small line up top. Large amount of beers on tap, great selection of wine at a very fair price. The food is always great from flat bread pizza, dry rub chicken wings, and meatball sliders.

Their posted hours have them open Monday thru Saturday at 11 am, I got there around 1pm Monday and Tuesday and they weren't open... I 'll not try again.

Here is the thing, it is a beer and wine bar and we had a wonderful time. The bartender was pleasant to talk to and recommended some fine wines. It is LGBTQ friendly in Idaho Falls and I appreciate that. We will be coming back for the wine tastings.

Went on a Saturday around 1:30.... Doors say they should be open, but they weren't.

The owner is a stud, always has great staff, beautiful artwork, great atmosphere. Attracts a crowd of good people.

Wine tasting time with music, always a great combination.

Chill place, not pretentious at all, great selection. Would definitely check out again.
