Visited to get breakfast on a Sunday morning. The food was fine, nothing special but no complaints about flavor or being properly cooked and the wait staff were great. BUT THE WAIT, WOW. I should have walked out and gone elsewhere. The place was not overly busy, I was seated immediately and within minutes I had my drink and my order was taken. Pancakes, bacon, sausage and hashbrowns. Not an overly complex order, yet it took over and hour to get my food. I only stayed because the waitress was so apologetic and repeatedly checked on me and reassured me the food was coming. I felt sorry for the wait staff and stayed long after I should have given up in disgust. Come on Denny's Idaho Falls, get your act together!?

They where short handed but the waitress did her best to keep up. The food was absolutely horrible. The food was so grease and the mozzarella sticks tasted like the oil needed changed. They tasted burt but they wasn't burn. My chicken fried steak was nasty and the gravy was like water. The facility itself was okay, ran down but it was okay. The restroom was stinky and dirty. I won't be going back.

I’m not going to lie I’m a bit disappointed.This was my first time trying Denny’s since the new management. I’ve always enjoyed Dennys and have eaten at this location and others in the past. I don’t eat out for breakfast often and I always kind of associate Denny’s with breakfast so I didn’t eat there terribly often but I always liked it when I did and it was very affordable which was a huge plus.My partner did a pickup order for me so I can’t remark on the building but he said the staff was very nice, however the food has changed drastically and definitely not for the better.I’m not sure if the scrambled eggs were genuinely eggs, they looked and tasted like powdered eggs and had no seasoning. Definitely could have done without. I ordered sausage links and got one link and one slice of bacon and both were extremely sad. Very cheap/small, overcooked, and lacking flavor entirely. The pancakes were good enough, nothing remarkable and nothing bad, just regular pancakes like you’d make at home. It was cheap at $6.99 which had it been the old food would have been a steal and a great experience but with the new food you’re really just paying for the convenience of not having to cook because I make better tasting food at home.I will say I appreciate the to-go containers. They’re very well thought out with their separation but it’s a bit sad that the most thought went into containers and not food at a restaurant.It’s sad because I used to like them but I won’t be going back

Our server was more focused on talking with her coworker than seating us in the beginning. She then continued on being more concerned about talking still while proceeding to take care of us.The food was mediocre for the pricing.Probably won't be coming back.

What can I say except this is the worst meal I ever paid $50 for in my life. Service was slow and the food was not only cold but also went down like yesterdays plastic plate. This Denny's is definitely one you should pass up. There is no reason to stop here unless you like paying for food you won't want to eat.I like Denny's menu but this place has serious issues with management which trickles down into every facet of a business. Again, this was the worst plate of food ever brought to me and if I wasn't late for a funeral I would probably have had a few words for the manager and none of them nice.

Service was awful. Waited 20 minutes to have our order taken. Waited another for our food to arrive. All the food was cold after sitting on the counter and waiting for it to arrive.Could not get a refill on coffee since they ran out. My daughter asked for water 3 times but the waitress never came back with the water.This was one of the worst restaurant experiences that I have had.

Breakfast was typical Dennys and expensive but waitress was amazing. She was the only waitstaff there and was acting as hostess, waitress, and cashier. Had a smile for everyone even though she had to be stressed out. Great job. Hope she made lots of tips that day.

I had breakfast and ordered my usual. An omelette with egg whites and Pico on top. Ordered couple eggs over easy and pancakes.The order came incorrect and the side order came late. I ate it as it was, it tasted good just not what I wanted.When asked how out was and I told them they gave me the meal on the house! That was very nice and unexpected! I’d still have paid for it as I want looking for a free meal.Great service!

Food was good, just very bad service, my family and I had to wait 18 minutes after being seated to take our order. they noticed that are order wasn't taken and apologized but that just wasn't enough.... the staff needs more training!!

Waited 10 minutes before getting drinks, (never got water with or drinks) another 15 for waiter to take our order, once we got our food never saw the waiter until we had to go ask for our check. Never got a refill on my coffee or my wife's coke. Never going back again!! If this is the new management you have good luck with business!

i love dennys!! all the workers are a delight to be around, especially the servers. the managers are constantly making sure the food is good, the guests are happy and the experience is positive. the food is always worth the wait, and the servers are always making sure you are comfortable and happy. again i love this dennys location, 10/10 would recommend!!

They have new cooks, the place was not very busy it took an hour to get our food. With the biscuits and gravy the gravy was skimpy, was warm but looked like it had been sitting a while. The Chicken bacon ranch sandwich they forgot the bacon. The scrambled eggs and cheese was cold. The sausage was small compared to other times I have gone to Denny's. The bacon was also small. That could be why it was on the discount menu. When they brought the bacon for my husband's sandwich it was only two slices but twice as much as mine. Overall a pretty depressing experience.
