Great food, great price. Came in on Sunday January 5 at 7 am . The only server there and she has been working there for a while and she is absolutely amazing at her job!! Props to the Cook as the food was perfect!
We've been coming here for years. It's our favorite breakfast spot.

Service was excellent, our waitress was attentive, and the food was pretty good. Both the coffee and tea were not hot, unfortunately. It was crowded (Sunday at noon) and as a consequence it was really loud, too loud to have a comfortable conversation across the table without raising our voices, which a lot of people were doing.

Really great food and a really fun vibe! I had the chilly burger which was very tasty and the French fries were nice and crispy as well. The menu is huge and i definitely want to go try some other items

My wife and I have frequently visited this popular diner, comfortable with the service and very satisfied with the food, price and atmosphere. And because of this I can't begin to tell you how sadly surprised I was on our last, most recent visit.

I absolutely love the senior member's pot roast dinner, but always make it a point to discard the broccoli (which I can't have) for extra cauliflower (which I relish)! But on this particular evening my order came with a mound of cauliflower only partially cooked and so hard that I couldn't easily cut into it, let alone chew it!

I didn't want to make an issue of it at the time and, instead, occupied myself with enjoying the savory pot roast and mashed potatoes. When our waitress/hostess eventually came by with the check, I pointed the obvious out to her as a matter of information for the future. But she only casually stated that "the boys sometimes get ahead of themselves!" I let the matter drop since it was equally obvious that the staff, some of whom I'd never seen before, appeared to be a little overwhelmed on that evening. And, in fact, my wife and I momentarily wondered if Dixie's Diner had come under a new management!

I know that this must sound rather picky of me. Dixie's has always been a most enjoyable and satisfying dining venue for us, here in Idaho Falls, and part of that is the also due to the interesting folks and families who make it a frequent selection on their dine-out cards. And I suppose that cauliflower isn't always the easiest thing to prepare and have ready to serve. But if the "boys in the back need a little extra time to do it right," then my wife and I can certainly sip our drinks and enjoy those interesting crowds.

My review below was when we first got here 4 years ago. This WAS NOT our experience today however. The service was horrible and the food just a step above. I don't know what's happened in the last couple of years but it definitely not what we experienced when first found this place. Oh and even though they don't tell you expect to pay an extra charge for using a card. Today was just a terrible over all experience for us. And all places have their ups and downs for sure but today was just awful. My kids didn't even eat their food. And they usually love this place. We won't be going back any time soon.

My husband and I are new to this area and we have been trying out different places all over town. Dixie diner by far has out done them all we had the best service the best food at the best prices then anywhere else that we have tried in Idaho Falls! If you have not eaten there I highly recommend this restaurant the waitress Jen was amazing.

They have a busy breakfast, so get ready for a roughly 20-30 minute wait if that os what you want (I have not been there every day, worst case scenario call them and just ask if they have a wait). That being said, I love their food and their staff is super pleasant. This might be offputting for some people, but I initially visited them because of a law enforcement event that they catered and their food was FANTASTIC. I do recomment this place,
