This place has no business being in Idaho Falls! I've had steaks in LA, Scottsdale, Dallas, Boston... This was the best steak dining experience I've ever had!I got an Australian Ribeye after the chef talked me out of one of the more expensive Japanese steaks. (He said I wasn't ready for it yet!) Amazing!

We stopped by Idaho Falls on a whim and decided to drop in after looking at the menu on Google. We didn't know exactly what to expect but were undoubtedly impressed. Our server, Lyn, was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. We had a wagyu sampler and sticky ribs to start, a Japanese wagyu steak and cod as mains. Everything was prepared and served as it would be in a Michelin starred restaurant. If we ever find our way back again, this will be our first stop to see if there are any new additions to the menu

Honestly, if I could give This place is 10 out of five I would. Had dinner there earlier this week on a work trip. I’ve had steak from the farmers in Virginia as well as famous steakhouses in Texas. After eating the ribeye here with the Béarnaise sauce, I can’t even enjoy any other steak. I’m so happy Chance to try such a wonderful piece of beef. But also, pissed that I won’t ever be able to have steak this good until I come back.I demand a gift card due to this or at least a guarantee you can overnight ship. Just prep it, flash freeze it and send to Virginia ASAP.

My boyfriend and I went in for her 27th birthday with our 9 month old. Normally we would have found a baby sitter but everyone had plans so she got to come along. The service staff was very accommodating to her. We were able to get things to keep her occupied. Our reservation was for 6:15 and we came from Pocatello and ended up being about 30 minutes early. I was afraid that we were going to have to wait that long with a fussy baby but they were able to get us in early which was so helpful. The food was AMAZING!!! From the lamb lollipop and cotton candy brisket appetizers (amazing sauce that is slightly caramelized) to the brussel sprouts for our sides (this is a MUST) and finally our STEAK, cooked perfectly and absolutely the best steak I’ve ever had! We will definitely be back! Thanks again Jay!

This restaurant would stand out in any metro in the country. The service is perfection, with the waitstaff always available but not bothersome. My wife and I had the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer which was amazing with hint of smoke throughout each shrimp. For our main course, my wife ordered the seabass and I ordered the ribeye. For sides we had potatoes (we were in Idaho) and the brussel sprouts and both were top-notch. Our mains were cooked perfectly with the fish served without a hint of "fishy" smell which tells you the freshness. My steak was perfectly prepared with a flavor that makes me sad to grill one of my own. Overall, the service, atmosphere, food presentation and flavor makes D'Railed the finest meal I have ever had. Thank you to Jay and his staff for a great night.

Quaint, little place. Son and hubby enjoyed their steaks. DIL steak was half fat. They were out of alot of items, which I guess is indicative of a busy Friday night. I will say, at the bottom of the menu it states there is a 6% service fee, which is used to pay the cooks, helping owner with his costs. Then our waitress tells us the owner bought the lot next door and will be expanding.......Vegetarian options: Have cauliflowe, brussel sprouts and saladsKid-friendliness: Not for kids

We have been here several times and always have a great experience. The food this time was ok. Wife had the salmon, but hers needed more seasoning. She had the lobster fried rice with it, & that was a little crunchy & a little off-putting. She did have the cheesecake & was very pleased, one of the best she has ever had. I had the filet, was pretty fatty for a filet but it was just ok. The mac & cheese tasted like onions, more like onion powder which was strange to me. we have had amazing experiences in the past, so we will be back, hopefully they were just having an off night. The service as always was incredible.

This place is awesome! Plain and simple. I travel so often for work and try and find local steakhouses everywhere I go, this place surpassed every expectation. When I drove up I was a little nervous as it is very inconspicuous from the outside, you then walk in and are greeted with a very nice restaurant, perfectly suited for date nights, special events, or just good food with friends. Upon opening the menu there may be some shock at the cost as it is in the pricey side, however it is worth every penny, my steak was perfectly cooked and the sides albeit al a carte meld perfectly with the entree. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great suggestions. I would absolutely recommend anyone who likes excellent food, drinks and service to check this place out!

I came for the first time, I was impressed with the greeting, also with the atmosphere. I am a combat veteran, when the owner found this out he had ALOT more for me than the normal 10% off. I really have nothing to say but praise for the food, staff, and hospitality. Small place so u do need reservations, very nice atmosphere.

My wife and I's dinner experience here had some ups and downs. First the ups. My wife had the salmon and the lobster fried rice, and both were extremely delicious! The atmosphere and the service were also on point and our server was really nice. Now the downs. I had the ribeye and while it was decent, it was way salty and tasted okay. Definitely not worth the $$. The potatoes Romanoff was an okay version of a potato casserole. We had the bacon wrapped prawns as an appetizer and while the prawns were pretty good, the bacon was thin, chewy, and cheap tasting. I got the creme brulee cheesecake and while the taste was good, for $8 I expected the piece to be bigger.Their seafood is obviously pretty good, but my recommendation for a good steak is to go to the Copper Rill where their ribeye is better quality and better taste for half the price.
