El Rinconcito Mexican Food

El Rinconcito is a local favorite, with a large menu. The portions are usually quite large, which is good because it is a little pricey compared to similar places nearby.
I like to get a huarache, there aren't that many places in town that you can get one, and this one is the best by far.
They are closed during the first part of the week.

My go-to Mexican place in IF. Huge portions, delicious food, friendly staff. Been going here for years. Wish they were open more consistently, but it's a family-run joint and they seem to have a lot going on. I'll keep coming back as long as I'm here.

Disgusting food the carne asada is of the lowest quality and the tortilla are low quality. Do yourself a favor and find a taco truck the food here is terrible especially the carne asada burrito

The food here is always fantastic. I have not had a taco or a burrito I didn't enjoy. The AP Sabroso burrito with steak, chorizo, potatoes, and pico de gallo is unlike any burrito I have had anywhere else. If you are looking for some place off the beaten path, go give this place a shot. They can be quite busy, but that's never a bad thing, that's how you know the food is good!

We have eaten here many times and every single time the food is phenomenal! The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is good. We are sad they are only open Thursday through Sunday because we would go there every day if we could. I love their rolled tacos and my husband loves their papasito burrito. I also love their molita and my daughter loves the bean and cheese burrito. The people that work there are so nice and helpful. Especially the front lady. Sometimes it's hard to find seating and parking because it's so popular but then we just do take out and eat it in our car. Lol this place is definitely our favorite Mexican food place. It is so worth the try!!! Oh and the strawberry horchata is amazing! They also have coconut and regular horchata. They have all the Mexican sodas and sides. Their rice is authentic and delicious. I love the balance between their main course and the lettuce they give you, the cheese on top, the spicy salsas, and the sour cream and pico. They have a lovely balance between fresh and fried that makes the meal wonderful. The textures are right on and the flavor of the meats is perfect.

Amazing food! Huge portions! And the employees were super helpful and cheerful. Carne Asada Fries were the best we’ve ever had, fries were perfect and didn’t get soggy. Tapatios was huge and delicious! Will definitely be back!
