Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Freddy's is a great fast-food burger chain with delicious food and frozen custards. We like to get the California burger with the tots. The atmosphere is good with classic photos of Freddy and all his hard work.

I was extremely impressed with my visit to the Idaho Falls Freddy’s on Woodruff Ave. They greeted me with a smile, and wowed me with their excellent service. My food was ready in about 2 minutes, and was hot and fresh. While I was eating, an employee was promptly cleaning tables and the floor. A manager stopped by my table and ensured the quality of my meal, and offered me dessert. These guys were on the ball and made me feel valued as a customer. I’ll definitely be back!

Pattie melt was good the price is a little high for what you get. Too much noise coming from the service area, young kids laughing and joking

Freddy’s makes the most delicious custard in town!

I have visited Freddy’s several times and been impressed with the speed of service, professionalism, management, and food.

When dining in I have seen proactive workers ensure food doesn’t sit and is brought out in a timely fashion to guests who may not hear their number called. I have seen the manager take time to step aside and speak one on one with customers and even help the sweet older clients get the rewards app set up on their phones. It’s acts of kindness like that you just don’t see everyday.

And not once have I seen an employee in pajamas! They all wear uniform shirts. I wonder if they reviewed the correct store below. Anywho, I will continue to frequent Freddy’s!

As a first timer to order something from here I asked for no tomatoes and onions, they didnt take off the onions along with the lettuce that came with it… there was like a single finger pinch but in the picture it looks like what it said which is more than I was given… along with the fries were cold and stale like as if they aren’t being made fresh every 15 mins… especially as someone who worked at a fast food industry I made sure my fries were fresh and once they get old I’ll toss and remake.

I asked for no onions and tomatoes I got onions the “mountain of lettuce” that was supposed to be there cause it comes with it there barely any like a 2 finger pinch of lettuce… I was expecting a little better than that… especially for trying it for the first time made me sad. The fries were cold and stale…

If you order food through the drive through you need to stop and check to make sure the actual toppings on any item in your order are correct or you might end up with no toppings of any kind on your burgers. As far as service goes other than maybe a few actual professional crew members most of what i have seen are busy on phones or joking around instead of filing orders or properly preparing food. It's sad to see how far this establishment has slipped in the past few years I have been going there. In addition to the drop in service there is a horrible lack in professional pride ..... at what point has it been ok for food service workers to have obviously not showered recently and show up in pajama bottoms to work? At what point is it OK for them to be obliviously undertrained and have no clue as to the menu that is available. I understand the idea behind fast food but the unfortunate state that this establishment has reached is far beyond that.

I am giving this a review of freddy's 5stars because I have never rated this place yet, and I've been coming here since they came to idaho falls and EVERY TIME our family has eaten here the food has always been FRESH and a overall excellent experience. However, and as a buisness owner myself I would like to hear the thoughts on what's going on. Today the food could have been much much fresher overall. We spent alitte over $50 and all the fries were like leather shoe strings, and the chicken strips were completely dry old and dehydrated. The rest of the meal was ok.The employee who where working always makes up for it with there friendliness and smiles. Anyhow, just watch the timers on things before being sent out and things will be just fine. Overall not bad, and again this has been the first time I've had this experience. Overall GREAT JOB and keep it up ok

That was the best old fashioned burger omg!! Like the good old days! Great food ! Very impressed by the burgers didn’t eat the fry’s yet ice cream wonderful 👍🏽
