Pretty good stuff but way to complicated menu. (It's a sandwich shop)my opinion needs less menu
The most authentic deli-style sandwiches in Idaho Falls. Bagels and breakfast sandwiches, hot and cold deli sandwiches, soups, salads, and hotdogs. Creative combinations, especially on their specialty sandwiches and New York sandwiches.Great Reubens and coney Island dogs. Nice selection of fresh sides, including potato salad and coleslaw.
I really enjoy Gandolfo's. There is only one issue I have and it has nothing to do with the food, customer service, or atmosphere. It has to do with their tip jar. I found out that the money in said jar does not go to the employees it goes to the owner or back into the business. When I tip I expect the money to go to the employees that helped me. They only way they get the tips is if you hand the money directly to them. This now makes me question every tip jar I have ever put money in. Please question this now as I have and will not be adding to a tip jar or directly to who helped me.

Upon entry, I was immediately greeted warmly by one of the workers; the smell of bacon, warm bread, and coffee permeate the air, culminating in a welcoming experience for a new customer. At the register, I informed the friendly woman that I was new and didn’t know what to order. She thanked me for coming to give Gandolfo’s a try, did a little dance with me, and asked what I felt like I was in the mood for. Once giving some details, she recommended the Dagwood sandwich; I’d wanted something with a lot of protein and calories as I’d just gotten off work and the gym. I didn’t catch her name, but I’m sure you will be able to figure out who this spectacular person who helped me was! She so kindly gave me a piece of cake as well, a special touch to an already extremely pleasant interaction.The sandwich itself is very tasty and filling, perfect if you need protein, calories, and a happy belly. I will be returning. Thank you for making my morning better.
Love this place,the food,and the service. My husband and I eat here often it's our go to place. The staff is so great. I ordered a salad one time and they forgot my vinegar and oil, they went above and beyond to make it right. Very friendly and helpful people over there. And the food and choices are amazing. I would recommend this place over and over. ? Thank you Gandolfos for being sooo amazing!!!Vegetarian options: Any sandwich can be turned into a salad. Best in town in my opinion ?

They really are like a New York deli without the super high prices. I was very tempted by a lot of their sandwiches, but the City Hall salad caught my eye. It was excellent. Romaine lettuce, chicken (lots of chicken), artichoke wedges, grapes, cranraisins, grapes, walnuts, Gorgonzola cheese, and blue cheese dressing which I chose. Might have been other stuff in this delightful salad, but I'm not sure. It was wonderful and filling. Oh...croutons as well.
