Black Bear Diner Idaho Falls

We LOVE Black Bear Diner!!! We have always had the best service . They have such a friendly and helpful staff. They make us feel like family. I recommend this restaurant highly!!!!

There were two gentlemen servers, spencer and I didn’t get the other name. The service was great!!! I have been craving pancakes for days and these hit the spot!!!

Horrible service from most the servers, hosts were great, I asked for the manger because my hashbrowns were burnt and he came out fuming and was super rude, he was all sweaty and smelt horrible, he needs to lose his job, he was so unprofessional. All the tables were dirty, and the music was ridiculous loud on top of cursing coming from the kitchen. my server was Jovan and she was amazing, although she’s the only good thing I have to say about this restaurant. Overall I would not recommend.

I used to come here years back, often. Absolutely loved breakfast all day long. Not to mention it’s not even a block away from me and their orange juice is my favorite way to start the meal. The last few times I was there the service went down and the very last time I went not only was the service low quality but the food was horrible. Those don’t look like any hash browns I’ve ever had before, covered in grease and burnt. The portions were the most ridiculous I’ve ever seen. My boyfriend ordered an omelette and it was the size of what I would feed a 2 year old. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said idk that’s how we always make it. That’s definitely not how we had it in the past. The only thing good on our plate was the fruit which was fresh and the orange juice which was also not fully topped.

When you have a schedule you should stick to it and not blow people off and your employees need to learn basic respect the person I talked to on the phone this morning was extremely disrespectful

Great breakfast, I like the omelettes and cheesy hash browns. Also, they have pretty good desserts. Their bacon is a bit fatty and stringy.
