It took me a while to finally go here, because people kept telling me the food was mediocre and overpriced. I'd still suggest it, but people would want to go somewhere else. I just had the turf and turf. It was so good, that I feel like the negative things I've heard were unjustified, and want to leave a good review. Yeah it's more expensive than the cheaper places in town, but the food is better. Nothing on their menu was unreasonably priced for a quality dish.

Our experience here was incredibly disappointing. The manager was completely inattentive, showing no interest in the quality of our visit. Our server was clearly inexperienced and seemed overwhelmed, which led to mistakes and long wait times. On top of that, the food was subpar definitely not worth the price or the wait. Overall, the lack of service and attention to detail made for a frustrating dining experience.

Made a reservation days in advance and specifically asked for the patio and was told that was possible. When we arrived we were sat at a booth inside and when we asked we were told a reservation was made for the entire patio. We were not notified before we came in or when we were sat down. They had ways to contact us and did not. Very disappointing.

Brenden and Brook were absolutely spectacular. They were professional, kind, and prompt.
They had exceptional timing between courses, and didn't hesitate to get me anything I needed.
Service wise, this was as close to a fine dining experience you can get in Idaho falls.
They definitely made an impression on me for sure.

Everything was astonishingly bad.

Service: After a half hour, entree orders were taken before drinks showed up. We had to continually ask for the things we ordered, sides showed up after we finished eating. There were only 4 tables and plenty of staff members socializing inside.

Food: Whoever decides to pull a $80 ribeye off the grill and immediately slice it up into kid sized pieces shouldn’t be allowed near food. All the juices ran out and the “medium rare” was half well done and half blue rare. The butchering was also poor with steaks cut at 45 degrees to the grain. All the aromatics were just set next to the steak instead of being cooked with it. Just horrible technique overall. And again, the 2 included sides showed up 15 minutes after the steak.

Atmosphere: I was sitting about 6 feet from the nice gas fireplace outside, which they had on full blast as we sat in the sun. I had to move because it was cooking me. As soon as the sun went down, they turned the fireplace off. Some things just can’t be explained. There are TVs everywhere but the one right next to our table was off. I asked for the fight that was playing on another TV to be turned on and the waiter said he’d try but we never heard from him until the check came.

We ate here following a wedding with a large group and it seemed a little disorganized with the serving and food prep as it took nearly 2 hours to get our food after arriving! However it was delicious once it arrived and the ribeye was delicious, perfectly cooked, tender and amazing flavor, the ribs were the most tender and falling off the bone I’ve had, the carrot pillafe was like a sweet but not too sweet unique and tasty recommendation. The desserts were large portions and I highly recommend the Carrot cake. It can be expensive most entrees 25-60+

Not going back. I had high expectations and it was very disappointing. You can get the same experience at Applebee's with half the price. There were more waitresses than customers. The hostess was pacing the entire time. The floor manager went and rearranged furniture outside, I thought, shouldn't she make one of the five waitresses or the hostess, who weren't doing anything, move it? There was a leak and puddle from the soda gun. I saw at least 4 people on their phone at some point. Seemed to lack professionalism and class. The hot plate started overcooking the steak from the bottom. It took 20 minutes to get our dessert out before I canceled it and asked for the check. The side of mushrooms was just a pile on a dish. The garlic mash was overpowering. The salads were on dishes shaped for hot dogs. The appetizer dishes were dirty and full of water spots. Very little presentation. They are a sports bar that has fine dining prices. Maybe if they had fewer people on shift they could afford to cut prices. Although, the artichoke spinach dip was good, so maybe shut down, open a truck, and sell the dip and chips if you want a more successful business plan. I bet they go down the drain within the next few years unless an expert shows up and flips their entire culture upside down. Don't waste your time here.

Nothing not already addressed in previous reviews. But I have to question the sanity of serving a medium rare bison filet on a 400° plate and not expecting it to be overcooked by the time a customer eats it. It’s beef jerky before the servers can even get it to the table.
If this is in fact a company policy the chefs need to stand up for themselves for ruining food and receiving constant complaints.
I raise cattle, I process cattle, I cook cattle and have done it for my whole life. And anyone who knows anything about protein knows that hot plates are gimmicks for carne asada and not $50 cuts of beef. I’m dumbfounded honestly.
Staff were great, Service was great and I have no complaints for the front of house. But somebody is making decisions that shouldn’t be.

We stopped by Idaho's Rib & Chop House in Idaho Falls on our way from Yellowstone to Utah and had an amazing experience. We tried the elk and bison, both cooked to perfection. The creamiest spinach sauce was a standout, and when we asked for the recipe, the chef personally came out to explain it to us. It was a celebration night for us, and they surprised us with a complimentary lava cake served with vanilla ice cream — an absolute delight and a perfect ending to the meal. Highly recommend this spot for anyone passing through!
