Idaho's Rib & Chop House - Idaho Falls

Our first time visit this restaurant was big room , and the food was fabulous, staff were amazing and well trained. served by Chris C and he’s above and beyond. So happy. Highly recommended.

Decided to try Chop House for Valentines Day....big mistake. The salad was dry and turning a brown color. The croutons were hard as a rock and they gave both our salads like a tablespoon of ranch. The lady at the next table over had to ask for more dressing. Are we in a ranch dressing shortage in Idaho? I ordered the ribs and sirloin steak with wild rice. The rice was a sticky glob with hard pieces of rice grains mixed in, nasty. I switched to the garlic mashed potatoes and they were excellent. The rib meat was fall off the bone quality but lacked spice, 7 out of 10. The steak was awful, it was supposed to be medium which it was in the center but the outside was blackened and not in a good way. Very dry. My wife got the beer battered fish which are very nice waitress could not tell us what type of fish it was. The batter was over fried and 70 percent batter to fish meat. I was highly disappointed for $76 dollars. Will not be coming back.

We love rib n chop! The staff is amazing!! The last two times we’ve had to send our food back due to the steak not being cooked at all. We ordered medium and our steak was well under rare. Even after they bought the food back out my boyfriend’s steak was still rare. Very disappointed!!

Great service and the steak could not have been better, cooked to perfection, best cooked ribeye steak I have ever had, ribs were also delicious- kudos to the chef. Service was great, had a great waitress and the alcoholic drinks were worth every penny.

We had a great night out with friends and had the most delicious dinner! Everything was cooked to perfection… the steak was juicy & the salmon was beyond tender. Even the sides were above & beyond. The drinks were delicious too! The entire staff was so friendly & accommodating when we needed to switch to a booth due to my mobility limitations. Our waiter, Chris, was excellent… very professional, but super personable & fun! He made our experience really cool. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks for making a fun night out celebrating that much better for us!
