Great affordable Mexican food from a local restaurant.
Nothing special about their food. It was pretty bland. I ordered a chimichanga and it was about half the size of any other ones that I have received at other similar local restaurants. We waited a long time for our order. Overall I had a very nice visit, due to my company, but wouldn't return.

Restaurantji Recommends
I came here at the recommendation of several people only to be disappointed. I got the Morenitas Platter with cabeza and the meat was flavorless and super fatty, it felt like I was just chewing on fat the whole time, not appetizing. My wife got a smothered burrito with carne asada and it was flavorless. The food was borderline gross. Their salsa was good though, so it made the food easier to get down. Service was fast and good, but completely negated by lack of food quality. I would steer clear of this place for your Mexican cravings.

Wow! It doesn’t look like much, but this is the closest thing to authentic as you will find in Idaho!

This spot is definitely a hole-in-the-wall, but don’t let the surroundings fool you—the food was surprisingly good and full of flavor.
We ordered the smothered burrito, the supreme burrito with pork, carne asada and pollo tacos, and a kids’ enchilada. Everything was delicious, and the rice and beans were especially tasty.
The staff were also very friendly and the food came out pretty quick.
My only complaint is the cleanliness. The sauce station was pretty grimy, and the napkin holders inside were not well kept.
Also, the churro wasn’t my favorite.

We went bec it was highly rated on Yelp. Lots of people there. Interior was fine, very basic, nothing nice and inviting. Its in an old building, which I don't mind, just the interior wasn't nice. Food was disappointing. It just wasn't yummy: enchiladas, carne asada burrito. $15 for 3 beef/chicken enchiladas, rice, beans...decent amount of food, I thought it was for 2 enchiladas. Burrito was decent size. The chips and salsa were good. We're from S California so we're used to good Mexican food. Nice people who work there though.
