Absolutely the worst Chinese food my boyfriend and I have ever eaten. We live in Teton Valley and were in Idaho Falls to go shopping. Knowing we would get home way too late to start cooking, I googled for Chinese restaurants, and this one came up on my phone with good reviews (note, on my computer the reviews were only 3.0, but on the phone, they were over 4).

The menu was very small, and a little on the expensive side, but we already walked in, and wanted to get going home, so we decided to order rather than try and find another place to pick up food.

BIGGEST MISTAKE! We both love spicy food, so I ordered the Spicy Hot Diced Chicken (Diced chicken, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, green peppers, celery and green pear). and my boyfriend ordered the Spicy Hot Pepper Beef (Choice sliced beef with green peppers, onions, mushrooms, bamboo shoots in spicy hot sauce). We each ordered the small fried rice, mine with no pork.

Where do I start? Neither one of the descriptions say carrots, but both had them (mine diced, his julienned). Mine was supposed to have bamboo shoots and green pears, instead it had peas and almond slices. The pieces of chicken were not diced, but the veggies were (not a complaint, but definitely not as described on the menu!) They were both supposed to be spicy, but the only flavor, let alone spice, was the crushed red pepper.

Now lets talk about the fried rice. To start, we ordered small fried rice, as that was described to us as what would normally come with a meal, rather than a larger fried rice, which usually is it's own meal. Small is an understatement. I wish we had measured it before putting it on the plate, because if it was a third of a cup, I would be surprised.
There was absolutely NOTHING fried about this rice. It was white rice, with scallions and a little scrambled egg (and pork in my boyfriends as ordered). No soy sauce, no veggies, no flavor, whatsoever. Because the portion was so small (it did not come with any other white rice), we will need to make more to finish the amount of food that came with the dinner portion of the meal.

Fortunately someone knew that there was no flavor in their food because they put enough Soy Sauce in the bag to drown out the taste of just about anything.

I also ordered a side of Spring Rolls, which is 6 of the smallest fried dough with barely any veggies in it. I chose to snack on one in the car, and it was horrible. I thought maybe I would try a second dipped in the duck sauce- MISTAKE! My bad because the car moved, and I spilled some on my hand, but it was HOT, and I totally burned the palm of my hand. Who serves HOT DUCK SAUCE? YUCK!

I truly feel bad (or envy?) all of the people that wrote reviews indicating this is amazing Chinese food, because they clearly have never tasted good Chinese food.

The best part of the meal? The pre-packaged fortune cookie. Literally the only thing that tasted like Chinese food should.

Chow Mein was soupy. I asked about it and they said that it depended on the peraon who made ir and how much corn starch was in it. I also said that it could have used salt. One of thers say they don't really salt the food too much because the elderly have been reducing sodium and that I could have added salt to it. Found a hair in the breading of the sweet and sour pork but the waitress swore it was a string of the batter. She showed it to the other workers and said she was sure it was a string of the batter. It really looked like a hair that was baked across the sweet and sour pork. They tried to make it right by giving more pork. I didn't think of a picture until the waitress took the pork and was showing it off to the other workers and saying she was sure it wasn't a hair and it was a string. Probably won't ever go back and wont recommend it to anyone else.

This has been a restaurant that I have heard from so many people is absolutely delicious. My friends and I were in the mood for some Chinese food on a Thursday night. So we decided to give this place a try.

The food was SOOO good. One of my favorite dishes is sweet & sour chicken and fried rice. They had a great deal where the chicken and rice is $8.99 lunch and just $1.50 more for dinner. For this dinner, you get a pretty good portion of food for the price. The chicken was sauced very good and very crispy. The fried rice was also very good.

The service was also EXCELLENT. We had such a lovely and nice waitress who gave a good warm welcome and very patient and kind. The food came out very fast and was nice and hot.

Overall, delicious food with great service. I will definitely be coming back here whenever I have the crave for some Asian food.

WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD!! They gave me a faulty bag- one that they KNEW was faulty- I take their instructions and take it to my car carefully, however, the sauce was already BROKEN INSIDE THE BAG LEAKING EVERYWHERE but I hadn't noticed it yet; when I grab the bag to move it, it completely ripped sending ALL MY FOOD ONTO MY, NOW, STICKY CAR FLOOR!! I LOST $40 ON THIS AND THEY REFUSED TO HELP ME AT ALL!! The girl on the phone was INCREDIBLY rude idk how she even has a job!!! She wouldn't let my talk to ANYONE ELSE!! I know if I pulled that at my jobs I'd be FIRED!! What a joke!!

It is probably the best Chinese food in town. I think they should expand the #19 beef / chicken to be a #19 and #20 or something. I got the beef #19 and they gave me chicken instead
