Just went to Pachanga's for the first time ever. I attended an event this past Saturday and got a chance to eat there. It was a very busy night due to the event happening outside. I sat at the bar and ordered the Chile Verde combination plate. The presentation of the food was spot on, the flavors were there, and portions were right on. I couldn't get over on how amazing and tender the chunks of pork were. I quickly realized that after living in IF for 14 years and not ever going to Pachanga's was a huge mistake in my part. I will definitely be coming here more often.

The food is good, but just know when you order something like fajitas, they give you four flour tortillas or 3 corn tortillas only!!!
Not even close to enough for the size of the platter, so they charge you 2 dollars fir extra tortillas. We went there with six people and ordered 3 fajita platters and we ended up paying six dollars more because there weren't enough tortillas. I've never experienced that before. Tortillas cost nothing, especially hiw small there's are. Ridiculous!!!!
So just beware that there won't be enough tortillas if you order fajitas!!!!
I have eaten a lot of tex-mex and Mexican food down south, and so my standards for Mexican food are very high.
So far, of all of the places I've tried in Idaho, this is the only one I revisit again and again because it's so tasty!
Dietary restrictions: They had some non-spicy options on the kids' menu, and the chips and salsa and chips and queso were not too spicy, so it can be shared amongst your little ones if they don't like hot foods, but they have alternative dips and sauces that are more spicy if you want.
Kid-friendliness: This place has a great kids menu with Mexican food classics and other things for kids, not ONLY Mexican or spicy meals. The staff is also willing to interact with the youngsters in your group if you dine in, which is always nicer than a server who pretends that they don't exist.

Absolutely amazing food and service very kid friendly but also a great place for a date night
this place had been highly recommended since moving here. however, I was not impressed at all. the food was quite mediocre, the bathroom was horrifying and smelly. and to top it off it gave me husband and I both the runs and myself food positing the next day. honesty, avoid.

We visited when the jazz group was playing there. Fun atmosphere and delicious food. We especially loved their quesadillas and burritos. We'll be back.

I found Pachanga's on my recent visit through Idaho Falls. I was driving across the section of Idaho and even though I had to drive around the block more than once or twice I finally found a close spot to park. The place was very packed when I walked in, I believe it was a Friday night so all of the restaurants I passed were pretty busy.
I was immediately greeted and was shown to a table as I was dining alone for this visit. They served me a bowl of fresh chips with some really good salsa and was happy to hear that they had Dos Equis (XX) amber on tap, plus it was a 22 ounce mug, nice and cold.

I had been driving all day so I decided on their Carne Asada. Enjoyed the food and a couple of beers and was impressed that the restaurant was taken up an entire table for four but myself.
I believe my server was one of the owners, and I joked with her about my thought that she needed to take a seat and catch her breath with a margarita or cold beer. She joked that her crew wouldn't be able to keep everything moving without her assistance.
I woul visit this location again if I ever pass through the area in the future.
