The meat should be the superstar of any bbq and this meat was fine but not really yummy without the sauce. The sauce however was very good in all three variants.

I am not happy with the service. I am allergic to cinnamon and asked the lady taking our order if there was cinnamon in pig candy and kameryn said she couldn’t show me the ingredients for it since there sauce is secret. I than told her I just need to know if there is cinnamon cause I’m allergic to it. Kameryn than said she would go look and see. When she came back up from looking she said that it listed all the ingredients and she can’t tell me the ingredients cause we might want to try making it.
I could care less about the ingredients in it. All I wanted to know was if there was cinnamon in it cause I heard it was good and wanted to try it if I could. I will not go back again and if your allergic to anything I wouldn’t go here to eat.

THE BEST BBQ IN IDAHO FALLS!! Today was our first time stopping in and we certainly were not disappointed. We tried the ribs (best we've ever had), BBQ brisket sandwich, pig candy, and Mac and cheese. Everything so was so delicious and the servers and staff were so friendly and welcoming! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!

Great BBQ the sauce was AMAZING would recommend just for the sauce, I wish the plates were a little bigger but it's bbq so you get quality not quantity. We will be coming back for sure.

Bbq was weird, the brisket came shredded and looked like pulled pork, it was so dry, hard to swallow, the ribs were good, everything was cold so I had to ask them to warm it up, seems like it wasn't fresh, corn bread was delish. Weird fries, not crunchy. Good prices.

Ok from bbq’r to another an honest review. This review is based on this experience alone, because this was the second time I tried it. Here goes, let start with the mediocre seasoning on the brisket, it had some beefy flavor but lacked any kick of spice and salt was practically nonexistent, a healthy amount of salt allows a lot of other flavors to pop! Beef tallow is the king of brisket ingredients and didn’t taste any of it. Tender for sure and cooked to the perfect consistency not fall apart but ā€œhangs ā€œ and pulls perfectly! The ribs were a complete fail in the aspect of ā€œgot the end rib with ā€œbitsā€ so it was try and hard as shoe leather (the end rib should never be sold). Although the salt was great and the spices came through, I look forward to trying them again. I can’t say about the tenderness so moving on. THE GOOD…the candy bacon is awesome, it has a good amount of sweetness and smokiness to seasoning ratio, I don’t know if it jalapeƱo and black pepper that I tasted, but I really liked it!! It’s my personal preference to have it cooked less, but hey! It’s not my cooking. The Mac & cheese was good and you can tell they used real cheese because of the grainy texture. I would like to see a little more salt to bring the cheese flavor out a little more, but it was good and would eat it again. NOW…the beans, where do I begin…THESE ARE THE BEST BAKED BEANS I HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME!!!! Not overly sweet, and balanced with the right amount of smokey and spiced to perfection!! (What am I saying, just get them, I can’t even make them this good).😊 The cornbread, iis really good and enjoyed it every time, personal preference once again would prefer it a little thinner to soak up the butter and honey a little better, but it’s not my cooking so no complaints. The chicken, for me was tough and dry, but that’s bbq chicken no matter where you go, if it’s not piping hot out of the smoker and served, that’s just the way chicken is when smoked, just live with it. The sauces!!! Yum 🤤 they’re all good and you should get one of each to try, can’t go wrong. OVERALL, I’m going to keep trying the menu, no one is perfect, but they’re better then the bbq places I’ve been to in Boise, who claim to have the best. So give them a shot and judge for yourself, cause this is just my opinion.

Serious bbq. I was down in Nashville for a few months. I ate at Jack cawthornes probably seven times, peg leg porker and martins whole hog. I had the brisket sandwich with corn bread here in idaho. Everything about it was perfect except they chop the brisket up. I put the honey bourbon bbq sauce on it with whatever they already put on it. The bun was better than Jack's the brisket was on par. The sauce I'm giving the edge to Jack's because his Kansas city bbq sauce is off the chain. That corn bread is a force to be reckoned with. I'm definitely coming back to try the sides. When i was in Nashville peg leg had the best sides. I'm very curious to try alot of things here. I am from Wisconsin so definitely going to try the mac and cheese. Great job.

First time experience was not good.I ordered the two meat platter with brisket and chicken. The brisket was not sliced but a pile of overdone pan scrapings, which were cold. The chicken was dry, cold and so poor that even sauce couldn't make it palatable. To me, it appeared that they overcooked frozen chicken breast's from the food service company and pawned it off as smoked chicken. I have enjoyed good Bar B Q across the country and consider myself one who knows good pit fare. Trust me, this is not it. Safice to say, there won't be a next time.

My husband's brisket was ok. The chicken is on the menu as half of a chicken. It was a cold, dried, tough, breast, cut in chunks that was too tough to eat. Barbeque sauce didn't even help.
