Great place for a good ol boy or family breakfast. Amazing place for breakfast, but I was disappointed when I went back for dinner on a different occasion. I’ll give it another try for dinner before I knock some stars off.
AMAZING fresh food and the best service around, felt very cozy

Swung through after flying from Florida! Fantastic food, I had the reuben, with their vegetable soup, and huckleberry lemonade. Our waiter was bubbly and respectful. I wish we had this back home!

A coworker recommended this restaurant so we thought we’d give it a try. We went on a Friday night and it was busy so parking was a little tricky. Cute little place. Rustic Country/ Western decorations and atmosphere. When you first walk in you can buy canned/ bottled foods, homemade soap and even used books in the entry area!! Waitress was very nice and friendly. My crispy chicken salad was not very good to be honest. I was very disappointed. I’d give it 4 out of 10. It had a bed of chopped lettuce, slice of tomato, 2 celery sticks, 1 pickle slice, 1 onion ring and crispy chicken on top. Not worth over $15. Either the price needs to come down or the salad needs doctored up big time! I wouldn’t order that again. My husband ordered a burger and fries for around the same price. Better option! He said the burger was an 8 out of 10 and I tried the fries and they were yummy. Especially with the fry sauce! Food was made quickly. Nice employees. Food was OK.

If you are traveling on highway 20 between Idaho Falls and Yellowstone and are looking for a home made breakfast I highly recommend this place. It’s not far off the highway and it is locally owned. I had eggs, hash browns, sausage and toast. Yummy!

Rusty Lantern was recommended by a coworker, and we enjoyed our visit very much. Our hostess was excellent. Great service and attentive to our needs.
I had the Bacon Cheeseburger and she had the Oriental Chicken Salad. But the large bread roll that came before our order was to die for! We nearly filled up on the roll before we even got the burger and salad!
We will be recommending this place to our friends and family.
