Employees are SO rude. I brought my family here, this was their first time, being from out of town. I grew up eating here, and they used to be really great with customer service! The woman taking orders was impatient, rude, and should not be working with people. The cashier was even more rude! Ugh! I was sad and embarrassed that I recommended The Sandwich Tree to my family. :-(

I went in tonight after 2 years of avoiding this place. The owners name is Angel but she is actually Satan.
Well she wasn’t there this evening which was the first and most important positive.
The soulless evil hellhound women she used to employ were replaced, at least this evening, with a very nice guy that was actually pleasant and friendly and a very nice gal. ))) this never happens(((
The food is the food, the prices are the prices. The decor is stifling, oppressive and so outdated.
I will say if she keeps hiring nice men and women and the owner avoids this place like the plague it might actually be a place I start going to again. We will see.

The best fresh bread sandwich in town. The prices are very reasonable and they have a very loyal local following. I have been eating here since high-school and I graduated Vin the late 80's. The staff understandably is stressed and can be short and to the point. The food is worth it. It's my favorite French Dip Xtra meat and Swiss cheese in Idaho Falls.
