Came for Easter Brunch at 1:30 today. It was not very good. The food was cold and there was not enough staff. It cost a lot to come here and I am very disappointed to say the least. The $7 mimosa was a tiny plastic cup. Not worth the money. We have been to this Easter Brunch before with the same disappointing results but wanted to give it another try. Not worth the $30. My group had the same complaints.

Back in February/March we booked 3 rooms with the Shilo Inn at a rate of $89 per night which included their Military Discount for a one night stay June 3rd. This was during a citywide festival that brings a lot of business and out-of-state'rs to town. A few days before travel, I called to see if I could add an addition room to our reservation. The lady I spoke to verified our reservation and added the room. Two days before we were to travel, the General Manager, Kirk, called us and said that he would not give us the rooms for the originally agreed upon price, and that we could either pay $145 per room, per night or cancel the rooms and go elsewhere. He called us two days before we are supposed to travel, into the middle of a citywide festival that has more than half the city booked up, and threatened to cancel our rooms if we didn't pay almost twice as much! Then, when we called corporate and made a complaint, he deleted the entire reservation from the system to make it look like we had never booked in the first place, so when we showed up, 400 miles from home, they didn't show that we ever had a reservation. Fortunately, I DO still have recorded phone call from a few days prior, where the front desk gal confirms, ok a recorded line, that we did have reservations at that time! We ended up having to pay $265 per room, at another area hotel, just to have a place to stay! What Kirk did is purely extortion, and I'm pretty sure it's illegal and action needs to be taken on the part of this hotel to make sure this never happens to anyone else, and to make amends to us for the stress, fear, harassment, and additional monies we had to spend due to his greedy actions!

Rooms are clean but the hotel is getting dated and could use an overhaul. We noticed a few things that are starting to break and could use some tlc. Comes with a free hot breakfast which is really good. The waiter is kind and helpful with information. Seems like they are having a staffing shortage.

Run down. Not worth the price! Absolutely ridiculous for the price in the area. We were just stopping through on off season for a night. For what they charge for a room to look at the river, just go stay in the Marriott or a nicer place for the same price. Shilo inns may have been a nice option in the 90s, but they’ve done absolutely nothing to keep anything up. Dirty! In the pool area there’s used bandaids and hair in the drains. Spa doesn’t have even work. Restaurants were closed the whole time. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else that appreciates guests.

A LOT of health code violations. I'm a former employee, this really is not a hate review, but I did work in the kitchen and there were a lot of health code violations. Things like moldy food actually being used and served.

I used to stay every year at the Shilo Inn when I was a little girl traveling through and when my husband said we had to go to Idaho Falls I was thrilled for the nostalgia. We arrived checked in and the first thing my little boy wanted to do was go swimming! We got ready went to the pool and I was disgusted. The hot tub was a murky green color but the pool looked ok so we let him swim. I had seen that there was a sauna so I peeked in and the drain had foot fungus written all over it. While we were there for less than an hour, one of the other guests let in a group of people that werent staying there and they were there to party. We looked for towels and then noticed the sign that you had to check them out and if not returned THAT night they would charge you 20 dollars PER crappy towel. We also talked to some locals and that were doing a "staycation" and they wanted to charge them sn EXTRA 275.00 dollars for 2 nights just for living in the same area code! A while later my husband noticed people going through my bag! I told them it was my stuff and he continued. I went over and gathered all of my things and told my husband we needed to go. He got our son out of the pool and turned to grab his sweatshirt and it was gone. We went up to our room to shower off the disgusting pool and the drain in the shower had black scum all around it. As we were getting dressed to go complain to the front desk I noticed spaghetti sauce all over the walls. We went downstairs and I showed the pictures and asked to speak to a manager, we were told 8am the following morning, understandable as it was 10:30 at night. The front desk attendant thankfully moved us rooms to a slightly better accommodation. The next morning my husband went to see if by any chance the manager was in or if his sweatshirt had been returned. Nope, no manager until Monday. Could we get his extension that the front dest attendent so gracious told us he had? Nope, we can call and hope to get put through. Her name was Marsha. When we told Marsha we would be posting about our stay she said that they would just reply about what "s***" people we were. I was absolutely flabbergasted. What a nightmare. The front desk is unhelpful and rude. If you can help it absolutely DO NOT stay here.

Beautiful clean hotel. Get best online rates and call hotel as they will match the best rate. Rooms massive, with kitchen area etc. Large suite room. Unless you wish a river balcony view, pay half the £ for a non river view. Booking.com has best rates, $140 less than balcony room. Clean pool, hot tub and steam room etc. 10/10 stay here.

We booked a balcony room for a weekend getaway and got a balcony with two chairs covered with dirt and bird p*** and a railing covered with cobwebs. It obviously hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Paid a premium price for a very low grade room. The whole facility is very poorly kept. I spoke to the manager about the balcony problem and rather than taking care of us and making us feel like he cared that we stayed here he went into negotiation mode to see how little he could do to get us to go away. I’m not sure what happened to Shilo Inns. They used up be great places to stay and they truly valued their guests but now it’s very apparent that management doesn’t really care about what kind of experience their guests have. There are WAY better options for the same money. Skip Shilo and spend your money at a place that cares.

This place set a new low bar for staying at a hotel (motel). Filthy, dirty, disgusting, couldn't get home soon enough to shower and burn our clothes. Come on Shilo, you can do better than this type of service. First time to ever stay at a Shilo property and definitely last!!! We paid $150 per night, I wouldn't stay at your location for free. Does anyone care?

Friendly employees, clean rooms and a great view! The hotel also has a stunning lobby that is sure to catch your attention as soon as you walk in. Complimentary breakfast vouchers are provided that can be used at the restaurant downstairs. Don't miss out on the pancakes!

Before arriving at this hotel I read the reviews and started worrying that it would be awful. I was pleasantly surprised, the staff were helpful and friendly and our room looked out onto the river. The location is also in a great area. The cleanliness of the room wasn't to my standards but overall not bad. Unfortunately the pool was closed but it looked nice. The hotel is in need of some upgrades. The price was good and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

My sister and I booked tow nights at the Shiloh Inn as we do every summer but found out this year that they do not clean rooms for the second day. Damp towels were left on the floor;the beds were unmade; breakfast dishes on the table; wastebaskets overflowing. I called the manager who informed me they do not service additional days for guests who stay more than one night. They claim this is because of COVID but this was not disclosed to us nor did we get a discount for t\sleeping in a dirty room the second night. The hairdryer did not work the first day and they left us with 2 hangars and a half a roll of toilet paper until we called and complaiend. This is too bad as we have always liked the Shiloh.

The customer service representative upon was rude. I called to let the hotel know I was coming in late. When I arrived I asked for additional towels as there was only 4 towels for 4 people 2 being women. I never did receive my towels. I was told breakfast was included in the price of the room but when we went down for breakfast we were told it only included breakfast for 2. Which made no sense since my reservation was for 4 people and 2 queen beds. After voicing my frustration with the breakfast attendants they agreed to waive the additional fee for 2 people. The breakfast was very limited and not worth it. The view was nice. There was plenty of parking.

This location is conveniently located on the water and they have a nice walking path. The swimming pool looked nice too. The hotel parking lot wasn't crowded at all and we felt like we were staying in an abandoned hotel. It wasn't very clean either with cobwebs and all. Maybe because the rooms hadn't been rented in a while. The staff were nice, but the hotel needs some updating.

This is a gem of a find. I will be the first to admit, every wall inside and out could use a coat of paint. Do not let that keep you away. The rooms were clean, bed and linens were were new and the same quality as the luxury hotel I stayed at the next night. The pool and hot tub were nice and relaxing. The breakfast had a nice variety, a little something for everyone.
